About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Maps574398842420 contributionsWar and Tourists Have Destroyed This Once-Beautiful PlaceVery sad to see what has become a tourist dump. The locals are victims of war. That is what you will see. Bullet-ridden buildings, shouts from every corner for your money and bored boys standing on the 'rebuilt' bridge desperate for handouts.Written January 5, 2025
- rodericp2110 contributionsMostar and Kravica from the Croatian coastMostar is a great day out from the Croatian coast - a full day bus tour from Dubronvik, combining the town of Mostar by the Neretva river and Kravica waterfalls a few miles away. Mostar has many tourist shops and some excellent restaurants. Good views of the old Mostar Bridge at the heart of the town.Written December 5, 2024
- eflores880 contributionsMedjugorje in a dayThis is the perfect day trip to Medjugorje from Dubrovnik. We were picked up at 7:15 at the Ploce Gate, driven to Medjugorge in plenty of time for the English mass at Medjugorge, and then took us to Apparition Hill. We were back in Dubrovnik by 5:00 pm - still a lot of time to roam around the old town. Our driver cum guide Tomislav kept up a continuous narrative on Croatia, its neighbours, and mandarins. He also made the border crossing in and out of Bosnia and Herzegovina a non-event. Truly an enjoyable day, I hope we can do this again.Written November 20, 2024
- RHgirl250 contributionsStunning Waterfalls & Great TourTook this tour with Bruno who was knowledgeable, helpful and a great tour guide. He picked us up early - 7am! But this meant we were well on our way and had no issues at the border. As it’s a minibus (as opposed to the larger coach tours), we arrived early at the Kravice Waterfalls…perfect; it was quiet (approx 20 people there) and we almost had the view to ourselves. Bruno was more than happy to accommodate the group’s timings and we had plenty of time in Mostar too. Though this was very busy, Bruno gave food recommendations and tips to avoid certain tourist traps. Yes, it’s a long day (arrived back at our hotel around 5pm), but well worth paying the little extra for this smaller tour. You won’t regret it!Written November 3, 2024
- 273janellek0 contributionsEnjoyable experienceBruno was a great driver and guide. He is knowledgeable and patient. Gave us ample time at each spot without rushing us or giving us a time limit. We enjoyed our experience.Written November 1, 2024
- 51hannnak0 contributionsGood day awayBruno was very knowledgeable and polite. We got picked up and dropped off at the chosen location ion with no problems. Bruno has a lot of history knowlege and like to share it with the group. The was enough time in both waterfalls and Mostar.Written October 31, 2024
- E7698WNnancyh0 contributionsMostar and the FallsAmazing day. Door to door pickup in Dubrovnik. Informative commentary on the drive with picturesque stops and detailed instructions on how to get the most out of each destination. We were at end of season so there were no crowds and pleasant temperatures around 20C. Some stores were closed but there was enough open to meet our needs. Tomislav was an excellent driver that knows all the short cuts.Written October 31, 2024
- buenab20240 contributionsVisit to the appalatian hillWe had a private day tour for 8 and our guide is Emer from cruiser taxi he is great. Showed us places that is historical and food that locals go. - petermQ1788WW0 contributionsComfortable, Private and Interesting experience during the later months of the year.Bruno was an excellent and very knowledgable driver. Whilst it can feel like a long drive, his minivan was comfortable and he went the extra mile now and again to stop for people when they needed to. The waterfalls were beautiful, especially as Bruno practically got us there as the first tourists to arrive, so it felt wonderfully private. (The time of year did help this). Mostar was then a very interesting town, especially with the mix of faiths and cultures. Overall I can’t give anything less than a 5 owing to the experience, comfort and all round knowledge from Bruno, our guide.Written October 30, 2024

- R7559ALannao0 contributionsA great day out in Mostar & Kravica waterfallsWe spent a lovely day traveling to Mostar , with an hour stop off at the pretty Kravica waterfalls in Bosnia. Mostar is very interesting with all it's cobbled streets and mosques and it has a very Turkish feel. There are lots of tourist shops to discover and the restaurants/cafes are much cheaper than in Croatia. Edi our lovely driver and guide was extremely entertaining and funny . It was great to be in a small group which felt very personal. No need to hang around waiting for dozens of other guests! I also found the Laus representative, Ivo, extremely helpful when I originally booked this trip. He answered all my questions and was able to organise pick up from our hotel. Very happy to recommend thus travel company .Written October 28, 2024

- Explore137163874950 contributionsBeauty, History and HumourOutstanding day trip! Edi picked us up at our hotel and took wonderful care of us the entire. His first hand experience as a soldier during the war offered heart felt insights into the historic challenges faced be the residents of the region. The falls were beautiful, the people gracious, and Edi's humor, knowledge and kindness made the day perfect. 5/5 stars! Bob & Monika from CanadaWritten October 26, 2024
- 337nickyj0 contributionsVery interesting day out, happy to recommendWe had a great day in Bosnia today with Bruno. Leaving early meant that we arrived at the waterfalls before the crowds (we were amongst the first there!) and also had time and space to explore Mostar before bigger groups of tourists arrived. Great and comfortable transport, lots of useful and interesting information and a very thought-provoking trip. Delighted to recommend and thanks for an excellent day out.Written October 26, 2024
- Colin W0 contributionsMostar and Kravice beautifulAn all-day visit to the beautiful old town if Mostar and the Kravice waterfalls began with a transfer from Cavtat to the mountains high above Dubrovnik where an air-conditioned coach took us across the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina. After a short stop just over the border we continued into Mostar where a local guide took us into the old town and told us his story of the 1990s war and how it changed everything. A view of the bridges, a lunch of Bosnian food ( not included in the price of the tour but very cheap) and a walk through the bazaar led us back to the coach and a shortish drive to the beautiful waterfalls at Kravice. After a slight delay at the border crossing back into Croatia, we headed back across the bridge which now links the Dubrovnik peninsula with Split and the rest of Croatia, and back down to Dubrovnik and finally Cavtat. It was a long day (around 12 hours start to finish) but an enjoyable one thanks to our guide Joanna and our driver, and special Mostar guide Jena who shared his personal tragedy of the war with us and opened our hearts to humanity.Written October 26, 2024

Wonderful day with our driver and guide Tomislav who was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the culture of Montenegro. It was like having your own Professor for a day! He included several stops for taking photographs and having a wander around the towns surrounding Boka Bay. At Perast, it even included a boat ride out to the 15th century Catholic church 'Our Lady of the Rocks' built on an artificial island. Kotor City was amazing and we stopped for about 3 hours to enjoy lunch, shopping, taking photographs and petting the cats! Thoroughly recommend the tour to anyone who is spending time in Dubrovnik. Ask for Tomislav!

Travelling with a neurodiverse 3 year old can be challenging but this private tour was a breeze. Comfortable air conditioned vehicle, toddler seat provided, adequate time at each destination with no rush. Novak was patient, communicative and very knowledgeable on local history. We really enjoyed our time chatting with him and learning from him. Perast and Kotor did not disappoint! Neither did Laus Travel.

Relaxing day spent with an amazing guide & safe driver, Novak. We learned much history of the area and enjoyed stops along the way for panoramic views & coffee. Most of our time was spent in Kotor, Novak oriented us and made recommendations of what to see on a map-we had the opportunity to wander on our own for 3 hours-which we enjoyed. He was flexible seeing to it that we got to enjoy the short boat ride to the Lady of the Rocks (it was too windy when we passed in the morning). The border crossing was uneventful (a benefit of traveling “off season”). Overall a great experience for our family of 3, including teenager. Thanks Novak.

Max was our tour guide and I simply hope everyone has the pleasure of having him guide you around Montenegro. He knew how to time every stop to avoid the crowds from tour buses. We started with a stop for coffee after crossing the border and then brought us to a couple spots to really capture the beauty of Kotor and Perast. Along the way, he taught us the history of the cities and answered all of our questions. Perast was a quick jaunt, but Kotor was amazing and beautiful. Max gave us a few tips and then set us off to explore on our own. He always respected our privacy wherever we went, but was also very friendly and easy to chat with. We felt very safe with him. If we come back for another tour, I hope he can be the one to guide us.

We booked a day trip to explore Kotor bay in Montenegro with Laus Travel. The schedule was well planned and we managed to avoid bigger crowds throughout the day. We learned quite some history from our guide Dusko, and the plan had sufficient time for explorations both in Perast and Kotor. The cafes and restaurants we found in Montenegro were all excellent.

My guide was able to give me a lot of great information on the drive from Dubrovnik to Montenegro. The drive was as scenic as the destination. The Our Lady of the Rocks church was meh for me, but the views from the island were spectacular in 360 degrees. Kotor was the highlight.

Edi was our amazing guide who shared some unique facts/history of the area. We were able to get some great photos along the route and could see that we were there for the photos so helped us get some great shots. Loved the experience.

We took -My wife & our two kids the private tour from Dubrovnik to Montenegro- Kotor & Budva and a few other sites plus the airport transfer. It was not great but nice day, our driver/guide was a nice guy, very informative and fantastic in providing information and also getting a feel for us as a group. We had time to explore on our own. Most importantly he was very punctual; he arrived to start the day when expected and was very gracious with his time.
The travel agency provides good options for families; only thing I didn’t like about the agency is the receptionist was lying quite a lot unnecessarily; when we were discussing about the trip my little one wanted to use the wash room but astonishingly she even lied about that as well by stating that they don’t have any washroom whereas there was one in their office !! undoubtably great example of very bad customer service!!!
