Meet your guide at your Dubrovnik hotel and hop aboard a minivan to begin the journey to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before you leave the city, pause to admire the views and take some photos from the Dubrovnik Bridge. Then, follow the Adriatic Coast north and cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After around an hour’s drive, arrive at the pretty coastal town of Neum, where you’ll have time to enjoy a coffee break (own expense), stroll the waterfront, or browse the souvenir shops. Follow the winding River Neretva north to UNESCO-listed Pocitelj and jump out to explore the historic town, which dates back to the 15th century and is set high on the hillside overlooking the river.
Finally, arrive in Mostar and follow your guide on a tour of the town’s UNESCO-listed landmarks, including the Stari Most Bridge, the Mosque of Mostar, and the Turkish House. After free time to wander the cobblestone lanes, browse the shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the many cafés or restaurants (own expense), climb back aboard the minivan for the return journey.
