          Day trip
Wonderful day to Montenegro with Super Tours, our guide Nikolas was fantastic and very kind. Perast was stunning and Kotor was lovely too. The only negative was the crossing back into Croatia which took over 2 hours.

          Beware
We spent 90 euros on a three day pass for two of us. No one told us that you can only use it once for each activity. We walked half the city walls which was wonderful and came down for lunch. We returned after lunch to find we could not re-enter on the passes! The passes also do not cover all of the museums which charge an additional fee to enter so be careful.

          A good taste of Istria.
The stops on the tour were well chosen and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was a full day and demanding physically but worth the effort.

          Disappointed!
We paid $160 for an activity that would have cost much less if just bought a day pass on that day. I had thought it was a guided tour or something that offered more than a day pass. Please don’t waste your money on this. Just get a day pass when you get to the old town.

          Rip off
Absolute rip off. Do not go if you expect value for money. Miniscule amounts of wine at the first couple of stops. Almost angry enough to put in a formal complaint.

You can skip the tour with a rental car
This place is gorgeous, but I wish I would have read up more on it before going. So first off- we had a rental car while in Croatia, so you can buy your own tickets and do not need to go through a tour service. I believe the tour services that only included a ride were $100+ and you still had to buy entry tickets. I believe I paid about $100 total with exchange rate for two entry tickets, give or take a little $. The parking isn’t free, but it’s not overly expensive. I still saved money driving myself and were fast walkers- so with the heat, waiting around for a group would have been less than ideal. There are multiple choices on hikes/walks you can do. We did the shorter 2-3 hour walk where you hit the hot spots. Honestly- the place is so gorgeous that I wish we would have planned two days in the area…. The photos do this place no justice. Wear sunblock and take water!

          Beautiful!
It was a wonderful experience. Beautiful, a lot of walking involved, we had 15k steps afterward. Gorgeous day, hot, but much better in the sun. Entrance 1 is where we entered at 830am, we’re glad we didn’t go later in the day. Took route C was there about 5 hrs., road the boat.

          Great experience
We had a really nice day with the tour. Our tour guide Barbara and Daniel looked after us very well. Daniel was. A great driver being local he was able to avoid the summer traffic jams and our pick ups were on time at each point 👍 Barbara was a great guide giving information along the way not too much on the bus but just enough , then at the three stops we learnt enough information to get a quick gasp of the history of each town. Guides are invaluable…we come a long way so it’s nice to learn a little history and about the region . Thankyou for a great day out. The meal /lunch at the small family restaurant was delicious and we were so happy to enjoy local cuisine…Thankyou to the Familja Ferlin …delicious! Hvala to all for a memorable day.

Informative, fun, comfortable with nice lunch.
Wonderful day trip. Tin the guide was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. He gauged the level of informative commentary and stories with quiet time when traveling on the bus well. The duration of the day was very good and well planned to showcase key historical events and grasp a sense of modern Istria. The driver on the day was exceptional, ensuring a safe, comfortable and pleasurable trip. đź‘Ť

          Fabulous! *****
Initially the thought of the long coach ride was daunting; however it wasn't an issue at all (with a couple of rest breaks either side). The time went by so quick and the coach was air conditioned. The guide was very informative and constantly gave an insight into the history of Croatia/Slovenia - with other titbits of information. Very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Lake Bled exceeded my expectations - breath taking views like something out of a fairy tale! Another experience ticked off my bucket list. We enjoyed views from the Castle; free time to walk around the lake and finishing off with a traditional boat (pletnas) across to Bled Island and St. Mary's Church. This is definitely not a trip to be missed!

Great evening out seeing the sunset and Dubrovnik Old Town.
Booked through TUI and included local pick up at the Hotel Kompas. Lovely views and a very relaxing evening cruising around to Dubrovnik Old town from Gruz harbour (and back obviously). The included drinks and snacks were all fine for us, and being able to stretch out on the nets at the front of the boat was great. Excellent value too.

          very relaxing late afternoon trip
Highly recommended trip - we had a very good and relaxing time on the catamaran. Departing from Gruz port heading north and then to the old city just returning in time for the perfect sun set at the sea. Plenty of space, very friendly staff, mixed music, some snacks and drinks included. It was a chilled out atmosphere and a good option to see the old town and the bridge from the seaside.

Worth a vist, but recommend in the late afternoon if you're here in July as it gets very hot during the day and no shades in the
It's a must see attraction in Pula when visiting. We took a late visite in the afternoon in mid July because of the heat and not many people visits in the afternoon. We recommend to go there in the afternoon. And there is also no shades inside the Amfi. Too bad there is lack of info tablet about the Amfi anywhere inside the arena. The children wanted to know about the gladiators and the inside life of the chambers, areas and so on. So we had to google the info. Below the Amfi, really cool to see how they made olive oil and transport of olive oil and wine throughout Europe.

Me and my friend were sold this trip by a TUI rep. The rep made the trip sound very appealing however, missed out important detail which, had we known we probably would not have booked. Most of the day is spent travelling with a 6:35am pick up, it took us over 4.5hours to get to the cruise (1.5hours at the boarder which is out of season) and nearly 4 hours to get back to the hotel once the day was over. So the day itself only consisted of 5 hours of excursion which could've been done in 2/3 hours in our opinion. The tour guide Tony, was very good and very knowledgeable. We couldn't fault him however, we feel that as an overall trip we wouldn't recommend it for the cost and huge amount of travel involved.

Overall this was a great trip! The tour guide, Tony, was full of interesting information and facts about both Croatia and Montenegro. Tony was super friendly and genuinely cared about the guests having a fun time on the trip. He made the trip for us!

Only 2 draw backs for us:
        1) the trip is a lot of sitting down. A long time sitting on the coach and a long time sitting on the boat. Felt a bit stiff after!
        2) this draw back can easily be fixed and I think was fed back to the holiday reps. We were not told that we would need euros if we wanted to buy anything in Montenegro. Luckily we stopped in a shopping centre where we could draw money out for an ATM but just be aware you won’t be able to use kuna.

A long bus ride and waiting time at the border with Montenegro. Between 1.5 and 2 hours before we arrived at the small boat. That boat brought us after 1.5 h to the entry of the see into the bay. There we moved to a bigger boat ParisKotor for a swim and lunch. Lunch was 3 courses and every fine. Then we sailed another 1.5 h to the island of the Holy Mary visit of 3/4 hour and the sailing to Kotor and visit of 1.5 h. Kotor is beautifull.
Then 2 hours+ bus drive back.
The only interesting part was Kotor. The most interesting part was Drago (?) Our guide who told us the whole way historical information and entertained us. He is the reason for the 3 stars.

We booked a similar day trip to Montenegro with the same company via Tui, our tour operator, without the cruise element. On a positive side the driver was brilliant, the guide fantastic, extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the scenery stunning when you get there. We couldn’t fault that element. The problem is at this time of the year the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro is complete carnage and took over 2.5 hours one way and 2 hours on the way back. That is just to get across the border, no driving or travelling. We were meant to be back at our hotel by 19.15 and eventually arrived back after midnight. For the most scenic part of the journey around the valleys and mountains it was dark. Out of season this trip would probably be very relaxed and enjoyable but really don’t think it should be run as a day trip in peak season.

We booked our trip to Montenegro with Viator over the internet before we went to Croatia and visited Kotor and Budva with a very interesting ferry ride included.. The frontier was not very crowded and border staff were just doing their job, but there was a bit of delay. Coaches cannot just roll across the border, so be prepared. Ivana our guide gave a German /English commentary and was full of interesting facts and humour. I can recommend this trip. Don't forget your euros

My friend and I went on this excursion and was not disappointed one bit, the cruise on the bay of Kotor was fantastic, and our guide Toni made it even more enjoyable, he was so knowledgeable about everything, what a wonderful way to see Montenegro a country I have never visited but will certainly go back there one day. The lunch on board was very good with three options. This excellent excursion was well worth it. Well done Gulliver travel, thank you, Margaret and Marie.

Absolutely fantastic day, picked up from our hotel on time and greeted by the guide Tony, what a lovely fantastic funny guy and never once stopped telling us about the history etc of the whole trip, full of knowledge, tony made the whole trip worth while. Even made a joke about my partner being his twin due to the same birthdays. The trip itself was worth every penny, the cruise was amazing and to see the beautiful scenery of Croatia was breath taking. Lunch was 1st class and very quick too, red and white wine on the table also. The lady of the rock was amazing also set in a picturesque landscape. We had enough time to look around after the tour done by Tony. Then onto montenegro which was lovely and a must. Given plenty of time to look around and after a relaxing slow cruise back on another even larger boat. The whole trip is worth every penny and a big Thankyou to Tony who made it even more enjoyable, if your lucky to get him as your tour guide your do OK.

Booked this trip through Tui, a total of 13 hours to just get an hour in Kotor! Took nearly 4 hours on the coach which didn't have a working toilet to get to the boat for the cruise part, we did stop off at a hypermarket for a toilet break & to change money to Euro's as that's what they use in Montenegro! Boat was average & featured plastic garden chairs, got charged almost double for beers as crew member pretended he had no change!!! 3 course lunch was average to say the least. After ambling around the bay at about 5 knots the boat stopped for 40 minutes for another tour group to swim :( Then went to an island with a small church where we wasted another hour. Eventually reached Kotor which was the reason we went on the trip, just an hour to attempt to see the city!, not impressed. Didn't get back to hotel until 8pm.

Two things made this tour for us, the stunning scenery and Tony our guide. The scenery speaks for itself but Tony not only speaks perfect English, but is very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble for him. Our Tui rep didn’t tell us we needed Euros and we didn’t take our card so we were left with no money, but Tony even offered a few Euros to tide us over which we didn’t take but really appreciated the offer. Gullivers we hope you appreciate what a gem you have in Tony.
