About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- nix4pool0 contributionsMostar and Kravica Waterfall trip.Booked this in their offices in Lapad, when the chap eventually came out from behind the curtain, not over friendly but he was ok . However he never went into any long spiel about the trip, just the very basics, told us 60 Euro pp, they only thing he said was NOT included was any food or drinks, and that any fees for crossing the border to Bosnia and/or other entrance fees were in the 60 Euro? This was not the case! When we were on the minibus we were informed of a 3 Euro border fee pp, then at entrance to Waterfall park we had to pay 10 Euro pp,!!! Non of this info given at point of sale. Anyway on to the trip, it was interesting and we did enjoy it, Mostar was great, the lady guide was excellent with perfect English, lots to see and the market stalls where you can haggle. The border crossing from Croatia into Bosnia was as usual laborious, 30 minutes you'll never get back! And like being back in the 1970's, what's going on? Getting people to file out of the coach and a jobsworth scrutinise their passports? Ridiculous. Not a lot better coming back either! The waterfall . Kravica is stunning but what a rip off 10 euros ?? Where have they got that price from? And don't go back to your coach for anything and hope to get back in again as they'll stop you! The chap on the mic in the coach was very good and told you everything, summing up we had a good time, just the hidden costs were very annoying.Written April 28, 2024

On the way back we even made a stop in Ston to see the salt production. Thank you very much for the great tour!Written September 30, 2022

- helloiamatraveller0 contributionsFascinating & EngagingBosnia is such a fantastic and unique place to go to - I recommend everybody to take this day trip if they can. Different country, culture and fascinating history. Our guide Ivan was utterly phenomenal as well - his breadth of knowledge far surpasses any other guide I have ever come across in my life. He is truly one of a kind.Written September 28, 2022
- Benskye0 contributionsHair raisingWe were picked up by a mini bus driven by an elder gentleman that didn’t speak any English. I was in the seat behind him that didn’t have a working seat belt. I drive for a living and see all aspects of driving but this was worrying. He drove on the white line and had to swerve every time a vehicle came in the opposite direction. But he was the least of our worries… The guide Ivan described himself as hyperactive but we, as his ‘guests’ say eccentric. He was talking about the pandemic which he believed is propaganda- everyone is entitled to their own opinion but when many have lost loved ones to this disease, it was inappropriate he should comment. Plus he looked at a young lad in the back and said “ it only clears out the old and obese, so as your a little bit fat. You should be ok”. He looked at the same guy who had Palestinian roots (dark hair, beard etc) then looked at his girlfriend and said “are you not frightened flying with him”. He told us about his ex wife, child, Nero’s sexual exploits and his Maths teacher who blew up Mostar bridge. Totally cringe worthy. He then asked for volunteers to give him a good review. Then insisted when no one offered.Written September 26, 2022

- E2096BYahmadb0 contributionsAmazing all the way through the tourIt was an amazing day filled with so much fun the tour guide was amazing he really knew his stuff we could ask him a question about anything and he had the answer it was so lovely. The waterfall was probably my favorite part waters alil cold but it’s still one of the most beautiful things I ever seen highly recommend and we did a salt tour at the end in stone as a bonus such a good day trip the driver was amazing too so gratefulWritten September 22, 2022

- jackaudrain0 contributionsUnforgettable for the wrong reasonsWhere to start… We were kept waiting for 20 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and when the van eventually turned up, we weren’t given any apology, but the tour guide Ivan demanding our passports. We then proceeded to head to Montenegro, thinking our ‘tour guide’ would be giving us information about all of the beautiful sights we were passing along the coast. But no, he started with his hate speech which included racism, sexism and all other forms of discrimination, under the guise of unique insight that you wouldn’t receive on other tours. He referred to this as ‘political incorrectness’, which doesn’t even start to cover it. I’m not going to go into detail about the discrimination that Ivan presented us with that day as I do not believe it is to be repeated. I was extremely uncomfortable for the duration of our trip, which is a shame because Montenegro itself was beautiful. The trip only got worse as it went on, we were dumped at each location with no information or advice as to where to go or what to do. When we made our way to Budva, we parked in a random, building site (car park?) away from the centre and told to reconvene at 3:30. We had a lovely lunch and swim at this stunning location, which I definitely recommend to visit but these locations are the only redeeming features of this ‘tour’. We headed back to this ‘car park’ but managed to miss the turn due to lack of signage. Unbeknown to us at the time, in the 1 minute between the meeting time and us arriving at the meeting point, Ivan had been willing to leave us here in Budva. But thanks to the other people on our tour, who had to convince this arrogant man that this was unacceptable, he waited for us. On the way back to Dubrovnik, Ivan requested that he could drop one passenger off a little further out (suggested a road or two up) than her accommodation as it is difficult to get to (near Old Town). They then attempted to drop her off around 15 minutes away from her accommodation, which is unacceptable given that pick-up and drop-off is advertised. Ivan proceeded to suggest that delay in the other passengers drop off was due to this passenger being inflexible in drop off when they requested to be taken closer to their accommodation. All in all, despite Kotor and Budva being beautiful places and well worth visiting, this tour was completely ruined by the unfortunate allocation of Ivan as our guide.Written September 22, 2022
- caoimheec0 contributionsHateful Tour GuideI have just had the misfortune of doing one of the tours with Ivek. Nearly the entire time he was not talking about relevant information to the tour but reeling off hate speech, disguised as 'speaking the truth’. During his continuous ranting, he compared the relationship a man has with a woman to a master with their dog. Another saying that women make decisions with emotion only. Another he said was ‘Black people should not play on the Croatian football team’. He was discriminative against Gyspy people, immigrants, LGBT people, specifically Gay and Trans people, women, plus-size women, and feminine men, while in the end, comparing himself to Jesus. This is a small example within the hours of ranting. This could not be challenged as it was over a tannoy and impossible to speak over. I have never met a more arrogant and hateful man in my entire life. Even if you are alt-right, do not go on this tour, because the tour itself was incoherent, I did not learn anything about the place I was going to. Although, that was the least of my worries. And I am saying this both emotion and intelligence.Written September 20, 2022

The crew is rude to us. As we were trying to get on the boat after being drench in the rain for lunch (we were asked to be back at 2 pm) the old man crew told us we cant get in and better wait at the shed somewhere. Wait for others to finish lunch then we can get on the boat.
It's not drink all you can either, bec they will give you a plastic cup then they will ask you to choose from soda, juice, another soda. Lunch is fish or chicken. Chicken is 2 small flat chicken breast with few slices of tomato and shredded cabbage. Fish is a thin fish with few slices of tomato and shredded cabbage. Again they give you a plastic cup for white/red wine on a pitcher when they serve.

This probably could be a good day tour but we had several irritating issues that happened. I don’t think we got the regular guide as our person was fairly new and not from the area. Although she gave us explanations along the way she had to find another guide with another group to provide narrative while in Ston and Korcula. Other issues include: 1) I was not aware this would be a bi-lingual tour. Had I’d known, I would not have taken it. We find waiting to hear your language to be annoying and takes away from enjoying what you’re looking at. 2) The amount of time and number of available rest stops we’re not communicated. We had a brief stop in Ston the lines were so long we opted to see the city rather than waste time standing in line. Unfortunately there was not another rest stop until we got to Korcula. The problem is we still had to ride a boat to the island. Another tour got there a bit before us so we had to wait about 30 minutes for the next boat. NO restrooms available at the boat launch. My husband and I had to find a tall bush. 3) once we got to Korcula we once again had to catch up with another tour guide and stand through 2 language explanations. Then the guide took off so fast to the next stop we had a hard time keeping up. One time we lost them. We finally decided to forget the tour and went to have something to eat. Even though we booked this ahead, I felt we might have been bumped to another group due to scheduling changes. 4). A lot of driving on winding roads. Can’t change that but I should have paid more attention to the timeline. Fortunately I was sitting behind the driver and had on motion sickness wrist bands. We did, though, have to stop for someone who got sick who was seated towards the back. Even with all the issues it was an okay trip but it could have been a lot better.

I believe this is the tour we took though “Sombrero tours”. Korcula is excellent and very much worth the visit. This particular Sombrero tour, we booked in the Old Port of Dubrovnik. The booking was simple enough, and the agent was very helpful. He told us where and when to meet our ride 2 days later. We got to the site just before the appointed time, but had a hard time identifying where our ride was. After a stressful half hour, waiting for the driver to identify us, we finally got on the right transfer to a bus a few miles away (we didn’t even realize we’d be on a big bus). Our guide, Hanna, was not what we’d hoped for. She was fairly low key, and seemed to just keep repeating rather basic, obvious facts. The stop at Ston was quick, and we would have explored more, if we had more time, but our goal was Korcula. Once off the ferry, Hanna gave us a quick overview of the town, and set us off on our own. We loved this small city (like a quieter, mini Dubrovnik), and had a decent amount of time here. The vineyard on the way back was a bit disappointing. We’d hoped for winetasting in the great outdoors on this beautiful day, but ended up in the wine cellar with a lackluster guide. The drive back was beautiful, as we returned along the coastal route. This was a great day all in all. The low rating is for the quality of this particular tour.

What a beautiful country. Clear seas stunning coastline. I travelled with my husband and in laws and as I had chosen the hotel and location, things could have been very awkward. We stayed at Port 9 Hotel on the island of corcula. Facilties were excellent, staff attentive, beds very comfortable. Food was very good drinks were more expensive than I thought. I would recommend hiring a boat for the day and do some island hopping, although water taxis are frequent and cheap. Corcula is a beautiful town with plentiful bars and restaurants.

Our private tour to Ston and Korčula and was very authentic and personal. We enjoyed the excellent wine tasting at Matuško Winery and our wine guide was very knowledgeable. Our driver, Marko, ensured that we had an excellent day touring around with great recommendations. He was fun and very personable. Highly recommend this driver and this tour.

Long day in a small bus where microphone turned static at the back of the mini-bus. Ston was interesting-though an explanation of the salt making process would have been good. Nice coffee.
Korkula was very Venetian and well preserved and blessedly without all of the ship tours crowding Dubrovnik.
The wine tasting was informative and interesting but the 2hr trip back was marred by the continued loud radio audio of the drivers choice which no one understood.
