- A5038XZcarmenr00Sunset with Dom!Great experience! Really nice views and different experience. We were really lucky with our guide Dom, really fun guy who transmitted safety and comfort and gave us really good recommendations. Highly recommended!
- C2438UOchloek00Great sunset tourDom was an excellent tour guide! Very patient, helpful, informative and friendly! Would definitely do the trip again and recommend to friends and family
- NishantR19400GOT walkAlex is very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting… Very good insights and has lot of references. Highly recommend!!
- Katy J00Great introduction to DubrovnikThis tour lived up to its name as a great introduction to Dubrovnik and its history. I’d never been on a tour using a headset before so was dubious about how this would work and how big the group would be. However our group wasn’t too big (about 30 people) and the amplified volume was useful in the busy Dubrovnik streets. Our guide Davor was informative and had many an anecdote to tell. Doing the 6pm tour was perfect so we were not too hot, although on subsequent days we found there is plenty of shade to be found in the old town. We also did a city walls tour and there was only a little overlap in content, so it paid off doing both.
- D7407VBmichaelak00Don’t recommendNot helpful instructors & instructions provided are inadequate. No role call so if no one is looking out for you, you will be left behind which is dangerous on the choppy waters. Not recommended for beginners despite claims that it is. Waste of money & time. Also unsafe. No refunds provided even when staff claim so.
- LesMarkiewicz00Old Town TourOur tour guide, Davor, was exceptional! He spoke very good english but added some emotion and story telling ability in his updates for us. He was one of the best tour guides that we have experienced in our many years of travelling abroad!
- Cliodhna D00What a day to spend a few hours in Dubrovnik it’d be a ‘shame’ to miss itWe thoroughly enjoyed Branko’s GOT walking tour. It was jam packed with interesting facts, behind the scenes and stories of the cast and crew and their time in Dubrovnik. Branko is so knowledgeable and I would say there is no question we could ask him that he wouldn’t know the answer to. I really liked being able to match up his photos to the real life places. A must do for any GOT fan or fan of movies, TV, etc my favourite part of our trip to Dubrovnik!
- Liron G00Start your vacation with this tour!Great tour with Davor. Highly recommend to start your vacation with this tour, that gives a very comprehensive overview about the history of Dubrovnik and the old city. The tour is built very cleverly, which allows you to take in and follow a big amount of information in a short period of time. Davor was super friendly and encouraged us to ask questions and take an active part in the tour. We enjoyed it a lot! Thank you :)
- ShaunPRICKIMAGE00ALEX ROCKED GOT TOURHad great tour with Alex. Brilliant combo of knowledge, friendliness & suggestions... Hope she hosts my third tour tomorrow...
- georgiabD1417RL00Fun & informativeGoran offered an insightful and entertaining tour of both the walls and the old town. His passion clearly shone throughout. Much appreciated the pigeon warnings!
- jadegN1834VB00Great tour with Davor!Davor was amazing, great spirit and explanations, I learnt a lot and really appreciated the anecdotes. Would absolutely recommend!
- Adanze A00Totally worth itOur guide Davor was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and had so much to share and was keen to answer all our questions. We had walked through the old town 3 times before we went on this tour and he opened our eyes to things we saw but could never had understood the history. Thanks for an awesome time
- R6852ITrobynm00Davor is the BEST everThis was an AMAZING tour. Davor is great and a very knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend taking a tour with him.
- gurinderd201300Power is PowerOur family of five joined Branko for this tour and enjoy every minute. His easy-going style and genuine passion for all things GoT brought the entire group together - regardless of their own knowledge of the series and books. He too expressed his enjoyment when receiving answers to his questions and the enthusiasm continued from there to the end of the tour. Plenty of opportunities to stop and take in the surroundings/ get a break from the blazing sun too. On that point, take water along with you in a refillable bottle/container. GoT Fans will definitely enjoy this experience and we cannot recommend it highly enough 💯 Thanks again Branko!
- PeggyG-West00We did the walking tour with Goran… it was excellent, informative, entertaining, fun & I would highly recommend it.Fabulous tour, interactive, informative, fun with great tips of we’re to eat & shop. Goran was a fab guide. Highly recommended.

If you visit Dubrovnik you shouldn’t miss out on this tour. It offers stunning views of the old city and surrounding coastline. The walk lasts approx 2 hours. There are a reasonable number of steps but it’s not that challenging. There were plenty of stops. On a practical note there is a loo half way round. We did the evening tour starting at 6 which was cooler and provided amazing sunset views of the city. We had an excellent guide, Davor, who gave us a really detailed history of the origins of the city and the politics behind the recent war.
Be aware that there is a separate charge to access the wall in addition to the price of the tour. Would suggest buying the Dubrovnik card which includes wall access, museum access and local bus routes.
All round great experience
Thank you again Davor!

When we came to Dubrovnik we wanted to visit Dubrovnik City walls with some experienced local guide. During our research, we found Dubrovnik Walks agency and we enroll for a tour. When our tour started only my girlfriend and me were there and we were afraid that tour will be canceled, but the guide said let's go, today it will be only three of us. Our guide Davor was amazing. Before we started he asked us for our preferences and route plan (you need to plan a route for City Walls because of the stairs - you have easier and harder routs). During a tour, he selected the best locations to give us amazing stories. We went through entire walls in around 2 hours and learn really a lot about Dubrovnik history. If you are looking for a great tour go for this agency, and if you have luck to get Davor as your guide you will be amazed with Dubrovnik.

Dear Krunoslav,
Thank you for your lovely review of our Walls & Wars tour with our amazing Davor!
We reduced the minimum requirements from 4 people to 2 for each tour this year, due to Corona, so it happens sometimes that the 2 lucky guests get a private experience at a bargain price. We are very glad that you loved this whole experience! Thank you!
Kind regards,
Dubrovnik Walks team

I did the City Walls and Wars walking tour with Jadranka. It was such a great tour! We were lucky in the fact that only 5 people were on the tour that day, so we were able to go at our own pace and ask loads of questions. Jadranka was extremely knowledgable about Dubrovnik's ancient and more modern history. I definitely recommend the tour to learn more about the city walls of Dubrovnik and the impact they had on the city.

We decided to use Walking Tours as it was considerably cheaper than that available from our hotel. We met Davor first thing in the morning on 18th May. He is an excellent tour guide with really good English and is very friendly, knowledgeable and humorous sharing many historical stories with us, both old and those more recent .i.e. the 1991 Homelands War. Interesting and thought provoking information which provided a greater insight in to how and why the walls were built, the buildings and people of the city and the Croatian country itself. The icing on the cake was that we were the only 2 people on the tour so had his undivided attention and made it feel as though we had booked a private, personal walk without having to pay an exorbitant amount for the privilege !!

Nice views but like most tourist attractions we visited in Dubrovnik, extremely expensive for what they are. Between lokrum and the city walls walk for 2 of us cost us almost £100. The equivalent of this sort of attraction in the UK would probably be free as would probably be a national trust attraction or at the absolute most half the price. Nice for the views but definitely not worth the money they charge.

Tour guide Jadranka was impeccable. Lovely smile and lots of emphaty.
The explanations made the tour much much better, I definitely recommend this wall walk as you’ll have the opportunity to see the whole city from privileged viewpoints.

My friends and I arrived in Dubrovnik and honestly did not know much of the city’s history. So, we decided to take the tour. Our guide, Davor was charismatic, engaging, and knowledgeable. He is truly passionate and proud of his country. The walls are a sight to behold. The stairs are very doable, and Davor was always considerate enough to find the group a shaded area with some seating in between locations. I definitely would recommend all visitors to take this tour and learn more about the rich history of this city and country.

Davor, our Tour Guide was friendly, passionate about the city and its history, spoke excellent English and welcomed our questions. The views were breathtaking and we learnt a lot about the history of Dubrovnik. The tours are reasonably priced too. It can be hot and there are a lot of steps to climb so I would recommend an early or late tour!

My partner and I took signed up for a group tour and since it was in the middle of the pandemic scare we were the only two tourists that signed up that day. Our Tour guide Davor was great, he tailored the tour to our interest, answered any and all questions we came up with, had very cool and interesting stories about the city and its inhabitants through out history. Great 2+ hours spent exploring a new city and the perfect intro into our summer holiday!!!

Did the Walls tour with Davor. Very informative and entertaining 2 hour walk, Davor did not shy away from any questions and was very open and honest about his experience during the Homeland War. Even the historical parts of the talk were delivered with an easy relaxed style and despite the fact it was only 2 hours we came away with a much deeper understanding of the city, the walls and the war. Thank you Davor.

Hi, we are going to book onto this tour, can we double check that the city walls admission ticket gets us into the lovejac fort? We understand the tour ends at the old port, can we then return with our same admission ticket to visit lovejac on the same day?

Admission charge to access the city walls is separate and not included in the tour. As long as you pay the admission charge, you can explore the walls on your own at your own pace. But I highly recommend joining Davor's tour.
