      Amazing Tour
Amazing food, company and tour. Dino was so friendly, informative and the best tour guide we have had compared to many other food tours we have been on in other cities! The Konoba and Gelato were our favourites!

      A Taste of Split
Dino is an excellent host. We went to five establishments representing a wide variety of Croatian food with cheeses, seafood, breads, peka (a savory beef stew), truffles and burek (a savory pastry made for late night munchies). Topped off with some of the best gelato you've ever had including homemade cones. Interspersed between eateries Dino leads an entertaining walk through the whole of Croatian history. All in all, a great night out.

      Fantastic tour!
Really enjoyed this tour - great combination of food and history under the guidance of our brilliant guide Dino. A real variety of stops, particularly enjoyed the local konoba and trying lots of delicious truffle products! Came away with a full belly and a full mind. Highly recommended.

      Must do while in Split
My first food tour in a long time...very well worth the wait. Top selection of restaurants with a great mix of high quality dining and hidden gems, from fancy restaurants incrusted on the palace walls to traditional Kanoba out of the beaten path. Every stop was unique in its on delicious way. I'm a big guy and was not left hungry, so much delicious food, rakija and company. Ohhh and history! Out tour guide was a local expert full of history bites and useful tips for the city. Thank you!

Dino was our guide for this tour of Split’s eateries and it truly didn’t disappoint! He clearly went the extra yard to make everyone happy, and also presented extensively on the history of Split, from the Roman era to the 20th century. Being a local himself, he also was keen to impart personal observations based on family history etc., a nice personal touch in my view. The food itself was unstintingly excellent and ranged from high-end dining to “home food” and takeaway delights.

At four hours long, one really gets good value for money and I can’t recommend the Split Food Tour highly enough.

I really enjoyed this foodie tour with Dino. Even if you have only one day in Split, this is a great way to learn about the history, geography and food of split. Dino was a funny and engaging host, and shared as much about the history of split as he did about the food. It is very meat-centric your so would not recommend for vegetarians, but highly recommend for everyone else.

Thank you, we are so glad you enjoyed your time with us in Split! You are right, us Croatians love our meat and seafood ;) We are a new company and while we only have our one 'signature' tour at the moment, we are working on creating additional tours in the future (including one that would be more suitable for vegetarians). Thanks again for choosing us!

We had a great time with Dino on our food tour! It doubled as a history walking tour since he told us all about Diocletian’s palace and Split in between eating stops. The locations were varied - we had charcuterie in a beautiful room in the old walls, seafood risotto and octopus salad in a gorgeous glass modern restaurant, a beef and gnocchi dish in a basement konobq - after which we were all stuffed! And then we moved on to smaller and quicker bites and stops to try truffle products in a shop, a burek place, and lastly gelato (the lavender is surprisingly good!). We got a shot of sour cherry liquor at the third stop (included) and also bought wine/beer at the first two stops. Dino had a magical Mary Poppins bag that produced umbrellas for us when it started raining, hand sanitizer when we all touched the toe of the Gregory of Nin statue for good luck, and a great helpful tour booklet to take home at the end of places and restaurants. There was a group of nine of us and we chatted so much the tour ran over time and took about 4.5 hours. Thanks for a great time Dino!

We booked this trip having previously experienced many food tours in different counties. Dino the tour guide and business owner (together with his wife) was extremely professional and incorporated all of the best bits of food tours into this tour.

    Best bits:
Great food - 6 stops with 7 dishes, you definitely will not be hungry after.
Great tour guide with great knowledge of Split, Croatia and general history.
Bottle of chilled water for each guest - perfect for the hot weather.
A great booklet produced by themselves detailing all the bests bits of Split to see and do.

This is a must do tour in Split! Forget your walking tours, this tour encapsulates both food and the wonderful history of Split.

I would say do this tour on the first night you are in split, it will give you a great tour of the town and allow you to get your bearings in such a labyrinth.

Thank you Dino and all the best for the future - you’ve got this!

Split Food tour was our first-ever food tasting tour. My partner and I had never done anything like this before, but we knew very little about Split and its food so booked this near the start of our trip.
WE WERE SO GLAD WE DID!

The group numbered 12 (which is the max I think) and it felt like an intimate group. We had people from America, Australia, England, France and Vietnam. After the initial awkwardness (brilliantly removed by the amazing Marina), everyone was really nice and chatty and wanted to learn about Split and each other. I thought we were just lucky to have a good group, but I get the impression everyone has a great experience thanks to the guides.

Because of this, I would recommend this tour for anyone; couples, groups of friends, or solo travellers. You will all be chatting very quickly!

The food venues you are taken to are all great; from trendy, upmarket restaurants situated in the ancient Roman stables to local, family-owned businesses that have served traditional Crotion food for 40 years. There is something everyone will enjoy. And as someone who likes their food, I can verify you will NOT be hungry by the end of the tour!

We had Marina as our guide and she did not let us down. Her warmth, energy, humour, and VAST local knowledge kept everyone upbeat and enthusiastic for the entire evening. We learned more about Split and the Dalmatian region in those four hours than we did for the entire week we were there. If you are fortunate enough to have Marina as your guide, rest assured you are in good hands!!

Thank you so much Split Food Tour (and Marina!) for a great experience that was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Our food tour was absolutely phenomenal. We spent one month in Split and did this tour at the beginning of our time in the city and it was a wonderful introduction to learn more about the fascinating history of Split and the remarkable Diocletian Palace. The food alone was exceptional but we didn't expect to learn so much history along the way, too. Dino is a fantastic tour guide who's so much fun and is so knowledgeable about food and his awesome city! Each food stop we visited was also amazing and we tried so many wonderful dishes that I would have never normally ordered! I cannot recommend this tour enough if you're in Split! Dino and Emma (Dino's wife) are absolute legends and we loved every single second!

This tour was worth every penny! Our guide Dino was awesome. He talked about the history of Split as we traveled between the stops. He arranged for 6 stops on our tour and each location did not disappoint. Do not eat before going on this tour you will be left very full at the end. He was so prepared for the tour which was awesome. Water upon arrival, umbrellas when it rained.....who knows what else he had in his backpack! We didn't at once feel rushed at all, he gave us time to enjoy the meals and conversation. He didn't talk too much during the meals which was nice, just enough to give us info about the dishes we are eating and some historical context. Thank you for a wonderful tour and all the best to you!! 10 stars ⭐

There are so many restaurants to choose from in Split that it can feel pretty overwhelming to choose where to eat each night. This tour not only solved that problem for us but also showed us so many amazing examples of Croatian cuisine that we had no idea about, the meat and seafood dishes were some of the best I've ever eaten and I especially enjoyed the sit down meals in beautiful restaurants, one of which is the only restaurant in Split that's actually INSIDE the old city walls. The historical information about the city from Dino, our guide, was an added bonus and so much more enjoyable to hear from a local rather than just reading about in a museum. Great food, guest company, great atmosphere, you won't regret going on this food tour!

I go to food tours every place I travel to and this one by Dino was the best. He is local, grew up here and knows his city extremely well! The food from the first bite to the last was great quality and his personal memories fixed to the restaurants showed his genuineness and passion. He also gives history explanations too with dramatic storytelling which gives you new perspectives of Split’s historical persons (something other good tours don’t have!). He takes photos for you in several spots which was great for couples like us who only take selfies all the time. It was just a big joy talking to him and exchanging cultural stories together over tasty meals. He is very attentive, enthusiastic, passionate and great character. Definitely recommend, you can get food and history experience in one tour. Thank you Dino!

What a fantastic way to learn about this beautiful country and its history while undersand its culture through food. Dino has wonderful knowledge of the split and knows all the best places to eat!

I couldn't recommend more, each food stop leaves your taste buds tingling with delight. The stops are perfectly timed between the walking where you will learn about this geat city.

10/10 experience for food and history lovers alike bravo.
