Mario and the team went over and above on all accounts for me and my family We booked a private tour to KrkaFalls and a Winery stop one day, the next day was an extra special day on one the most magnificent boats ever - we toured the islands, swam and had the most amazing lunch - including the BEST chocolate birthday cake that they had on the boat for me! It was so special! Mario then coordinate a van and driver to take us from Split to Dubrovnik with another wine stop and lunch in Ston before getting to our hotel in Dubrovnik. We had such a great time in the boat I reached out to him last minute to see if he could arrange another day touring the Elafiti islands and once again he did not disappoint - the team that took us out for the day went over and above to make it an amazing day! Even more birthday cake LOL If you have an idea of what you might like to do but don’t want all the work to coordinate entrust Mario to do it all for you - we wouldn’t have changed a thing Every one of the teams were so helpful, caring and fun to spend our trip with! It is one I will never forget all because of Mario’s attention to detail!

It was an amazing trip at Croatia and we have chosen a good travel agent of Experience Dalmatia luckily. We were a group of 5 from Hong Kong and joined the private tour for 5 days from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Mario is a very patient and helpful person from the day one I communicated with him for planning our trip. Although we have changed the original itinerary back and forth, Mario still be patient and gave us a suggestion. Even we have some misunderstanding for the trip arrangement, he was so quick to settle it. He did everything he can to let his guests to enjoy the journey without any worries. Mario treats us like his friends. We didn’t follow them when we arrived Dubrovnik, but he still gave us a lot of suggestions and information for what to do at Dubrovnik and recommended a restaurant for us which is Good food, Good service and Good prices and we enjoyed it very much! So that’ why we went twice. The local guides for each destination were professional and informative. Our driver Frane is very professional, smart, helpful and friendly. When we went with him, there is nothing to worry about as he would arrange everything for us. I would express my heartfelt thanks to Mario and his team as they highlighted our trip. We were a group of 6 from Mexico, four seniors and two teenagers and had the most wonderful time on the private two-week 4 Balkan countries tour. We opted for the exact tour as described on the website and were in no way disappointed. A perfect balance of historical and cultural sites with the natural wonders of the region. Even though the tour was mainly in remarkably beautiful Croatia, the visit to Slovenia and the day trips to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina and particularly to Kotor in Montenegro, proved to be excellent choices and added to our appreciation of the region as a whole and its complex and varied history. The hotels were well chosen by Mario. All gave excellent service provided by friendly, helpful staff and were well situated. We enjoyed the breakfasts offered by each one. We had efficient communication with Mario during all stages of the booking process and during the tour. Meeting up with him in Split was a pleasure. Our driver, Frane, was extremely accommodating, considerate and we enjoyed our conversations with him, especially appreciated during the longer stretches of the tour. Mario had hired Spanish speaking guides for us in several places and we were pleasantly surprised by their language ability (some, of course, were native Spanish speakers) and their knowledge of local and regional history and culture. It was a memorable trip made even more enjoyable by the excellent support provided by Mario and his team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Experience Dalmatia to family and friends.

Our experience with Mario and his team was faultless. Beyond the tour to Kaka we used them for both our airport transfers and a ad hoc trip to the zipline experience we had arranged. Mario's communication was comprehensive and timely at every point, therefore any worries were removed. He was very helpful in the lead up to our holiday in providing suggestions and prices in advance, and stayed in contact throughout our time in Croatia. We had dealing with 3 of his drivers and everyone was friendly and professional, they were always on time and having a vehicle to accommodate a party of 8 made life so easy. I cannot recommend Mario and his team highly enough.

We are a couple who signed up for a 14 day tour from Dubrovnik to Zagreb with a detour Mostar in Bosnia-Herzogivina and Ljubljana. Mario was extremely helpful and very quick to respond when we organized the tour. He was extremely flexible when two of our original party of 4 had to cancel at the last minute. The two of us who decided to go it alone had one of our best trips ever. No doubt the places we visited were extremely beautiful and the people very friendly. However, as many have said, Dalmatia Experience provides the topping on the cream cake. We had a seamless trouble free experience from airport pickup in Dubrovnik to airport dropoff. All the vehicles were in excellent operating condition, clean and comfortable. Frane, our driver for 12 of the 14 days, was extremely skilled, friendly and really helpful. Indeed, all the other drivers, personalized local guides for each destination were professional, knowledgeable and always went the extra mile. We were inundated with tips for the best fish restaurants, the best dessert, the best ice-cream and museums. Our drivers and guides always called our hotels/restaurants ahead of our arrival to ensure we were properly received. When our Croatian SIM cards did not work in Slovenia, Frane even went off to buy us a SIM card. Mario was in constant contact and always ready to adjust the program to take the weather into account. He gave us a refund for a visit we had to cancel due to rain AND paid for a city tax that a local hotel forgot to collect. Indeed, I would say everyone on Mario's team provided service beyond expectation. Very good value. Highly recommend.

My husband and I did a 10 day tour of Croatia all planned by Mario with experience Dalmatia. Our trip was absolutely seamless and nothing was missed! A few other reviewers ended up calling him a friend. That spoke volume. Our 1-week Croatia tour was seamless, hassle-free, stress-free. Transfer city to city, door-to-door. Licensed guides and entrance tickets all pre-booked. Every detail taken care of. I only had to decide what time to start the day and what time I'd like back at hotel. And the rate quoted by Mario was fair and reasonable, included everything, no additional charges. It is very important to find a tour company / manager whom you can trust to take care of your travel plans and needs. Experience Dalmatia is one. Alike boutique hotels, this one is a boutique tour company - small, focused, personal, intimate. Absolutely recommend.

I cannot find enough words to say how great the whole experience it was. Mario was so easy and pleasant to work with and he arranged our trip from Sarajevo -Ljubljana-Split-Dubrovnik-Kotor-Sarajevo (and so many things to see in between) absolutly flawless! Mario was so helpful from start to finish planning and executing our trip to Croatia. We travelled from Zagreb to Dubrovnik via Plitvice Lakes, Zadar and Split amongst others. Frane was our driver, he was brilliant fun and nothing was too much trouble - he became more like a good friend. All of the hotels that Mario booked were perfect and we enjoyed the private tours in each city. He also arranged horse riding, cycling and trips to Plitvice and Krka which we absolutely loved. We had a really wonderful experience visiting different areas of Split with Mario as our driver. The vehicle was comfortable, clean, and temperature controlled to our preferences and Mario was right on time, professional, super accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. He really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and to give us inside information about the area, including restaurant suggestions (which were phenomenal!). Conversation was so easy it felt like driving with a local Croatian friend. It was very convenient to be able to visit so many different spots in one day and have the freedom to explore on our own timeline. It really elevated our experience and I can’t imagine doing it any other way. Highly, highly recommend!

Wow! Our family trip to Balkans were truly a trip of a lifetime, and we owe everything to an amazing agent Mario. I worked with Mario for a couple of weeks to design the ideal trip- he was incredibly patient with my questions and concerns about Covid-19 travel requirements prior to booking.. Mario was available 24/7 during trip and checked in with us at least daily. He’s impeccable, professional, detail-oriented and truly cares about his client’s experience. Everything was arranged including pre-arrival and transfers between sites. Simply the 5 countries 14-days trip went off without any hiccups because of his efforts. Amazing experience, visited a vineyard, lovely family run place. The tour guide, Franc, was knowledgeable and we took a yacht tour to one of the islands.

Mario was an AMAZING tour guide and driver for our family if 5! Starting from the airport to our villa, he was so HELPFUL with all kinds of information and answered all our questions. Took us from Split to Krka Falls making it easy for us and fun. From there to Plitvice where he gave us a great route to walk and drop off and pick us up. On way back to Split he took us to Primosten which was an amazing suggestion it was gorgeous! Amazingly delicious restaurant suggestions as well. Stopped also in Zadar with more delicious food stop and what to see! Mario was reliable and super nice and a great way to get around !!!!! Thanks Mario!!!
