It was a great tour delving into life in the medieval times within the walls if the old town. Our guide was great and spoke perfectly, she was very informative, a nice pace walking around the town through the dark narrow lanes.

Julena was our lovely tour guide who took us to various points in Trogir and told us the stories of citizens who had lived in these places during the past ages. Her stories were well told and brought the town of Trogir to life for us as we could imagine ourselves watching in our minds eyes the lives and hardships these people had to endure. Throughout this tour we discovered different points of interest that, although we have been living here for a number of days, had not once seen through our own ‘exploration’. Engaging, dramatic and descriptive! I had the delight of Doris being my guide on very last evening in Croatia. As a history lover I never grow old of tales from the past. The characters came alive as Doris took us through the narrow winding streets/alleyways of Old Trogir. A small group makes it even more personable although Doris has enough personality for the entire town. Her expressive nature makes these stories and its characters even more spellbinding. Part ghost stories/part living history. Where the two meet is where your journey begins. Follow the light and let your imagination and senses come enlightened.

We booked a tour of Trogir with Doris and it really blew us away! Her enchanting way of telling the stories had us all hanging on every word! Totally changing the way we saw the Town. She was so good that booked a second tour with her in Split! Again she had us totally bewitched with tales of romance, intrigue, and wild tales of prostitution and murder! While staying in the old town portion of Trogir, we decided this looks fun for my young daughters. It was. Nice excursion by friendly tour guide. Fun and entertaining stories, and roamed some of the areas we may have missed otherwise. One of our first steps was in front of our own rental apartment, so we even got to learn a bit about our own temporary neighborhood. THANKS

The concept itself about guides in black that carry the light when all other lights go out – instantly attracted me. The stories I've heard told by the guide in black are not classic stories that you will hear from other guides. These stories are about Trogir in the dark Middle Ages: nobleman, intrigues, ladies of the night, pillar of shame... I recommend this walking tour to anyone who loves atypical sightseeing in which you will find out more about this city protected by UNESCO through very interesting, dark stories about this beautiful medieval town.

Being from Split and not so much fan of a history, I would probably never attend this kind of event if a friend didn't "drag" me into it, and I am really glad he did! Not only it was educational in the classic sense, but also really entertaining, probably the first time someone made history fun. There are a lot of interesting facts and amazing people you would never hear about in school or on traditional tour. I highly recommend this nocturnal tour not only to tourists, but to locals too! You will get a glimpse into local way of life, traditions and legends, everything you should aspire to get from visiting a new place.

I was lucky enough to get tour from Dorris all by myself. I have to say it was one of my highlights of my trip to Croatia. Dorris tells the stories of Splits characters in a very unique and enchanting way. Dorris is an amazing passionate story teller and I'd recommend anyone visiting split to take the tour. Its definitely something different and very entertaining..
