Roman is a true professional. He took care of the little details which made for a smooth, informative and interesting day in Tiraspol. During the trip to Tiraspol he listened, answered my questions and even adjusted a little to my interests He took time to learn about me and my travels. I couldn’t have been happier with the visit to the country which does not exist. Once he learned of my interest in my Russian/German heritage he rearranged his schedule and took me to my German/Russian ancestors village in Bessarabia region of Ukraine the following day. This was a dream of mine to visit this village and he helped me fulfill this dream. He confirmed some of my research on the location of the village and showed up the next day very well prepared. He introduced me to the local librarian/village historian who gave me a great history of the village. I was able to walk the streets of my ancestors and now share this experience with my family. This tour takes you 30 years back to a city that still keeps an old soviet style in their architecture and ambience. The tour also included a walking time through their main streets and most important placed located in downtown with a good local guide who explained a lot of details about their history and current situation in Transnistria. Tour also included a visit to Bender fortress, which is also beautiful and interesting, specially for their torture implements, which actually were pretty scaring... Great logistics since Odessa to Transnistria and I really enjoyed this tour. Fully recommended, thanks Roman and your team for this great experience!

Roman was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, and was very accommodating. His focus is on excursions which are outside of Odessa and his trip was the highlight of our time in Odessa. The tour itself revolves around going to a nature reserve, which has a cafe that sells oysters farmed in the lake, as well as other types of fresh caught seafood. Their food was fantastic and the place was only filled with locals showing it was a great spot.

We would like to give a review about Odessa tour. We are very satisfied with the tour. It was very informative and interesting. We were taken from the hotel by our guide Roman. He was born in Odessa and knows everything about it. He was pleased to share the information with us and answer our questions when we had them. Throughout the tour, Roman was very friendly and engaged in conversations with us. He showed us many places in Odessa, some of which were hidden, so an ordinary tourist would have no chance to see them. In the end of the tour, we were taken back to the hotel (there is also a possibility to be dropped off at any other preferable place). Roman is a well-educated person who has experience in tourism and history - he also works at the university, so it makes him even more respectful. Amazing, informative trip. 100% recommend. Davey Poedem means 'Let's Go' in Russian. This trip was an absolute 5* I learned so much with the VERY BEST local guides who shared so much knowledge and culture. If you love history and want to see the sights - this is the tour for you. The missile museum was incredible - a real soviet nuclear bunker with an actual (decommissioned nuclear missile). A trip to Chernobyl - wow! Roman organized everything and drove us around. COVID tests, no problem, last-minute changes - OK! He even changed to tour (at my request) to go to Transnistria and an incredible Moldovan winery! This tour was so professional. Thank you. We took two tours with Roman - an estate wine tasting and a trip to an oyster farm. Both were fantastic. It was easy to communicate with Roman and he was organized and punctual. He’s a pleasure to chat with in the car and his enthusiasm for Odessa and the region is infectious. We would recommend him to any of our friends visiting the city.

Really worth it. We saw lots of pelicans and cormorants - simply majestic! Roman was insightful and we felt off the besten track.

I had a great experience. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The excursions were very interesting, well organized and made me see a lot of attractions at a good pace. The organizer was quite flexible and let me customize the tour for my needs and preferences. I wish I was given more information ahead of time; most of the time I only discovered the program a day ahead or on the same day, which lead to a lot of uncertainty and made it hard for me to plan ahead (though my tour detracted from the standard package, which must have made things harder for the organizer). Overall, I felt the guides and organizers were trustworthy and they took good care of me during the whole tour.

This is a great way to get some really fresh air in a very enjoyable way. I was picked up at my hotel, and after a pleasant drive to the boat mooring area on the river, I and another couple spent a few hours on the water, with informative commentary of our skipper, Vasili. It was a bit late in the season for many of the birds usually seen but the overcast sky made an almost dramatic atmosphere. A nice lunch (included) before returning to my hotel rounded off a very nice day. Do something different, especially if you are visiting Kiev in spring or early autumn for more birds and fewer people but good anytime. Thanks Roman!

We booked a trip around Ukraine through Davay Poedem and everything worked very well: hotels, guides, travel between cities... We visited Kiev, Odesa and Lviv for 10 days, and of course saw the main attractions, but also enjoyed a lot several interesting ideas that were suggested by Roman, our guide. For example, a visit to an abandoned misile base mid way between Kiev and Odesa was very entertaining. Thank you for your excellent service!

What an amazing trip, the tour is fantastically put together and you really do see some of the amazing Soviet history of the Ukraine. The hotels are all well kept, clean and incredibly well located. Meals provided are good and food recommendations are always on hand for dinner if you don't want to explore. The itinerary was amazing, from a fantastic private tour of Kiev through to Chernobyl, visiting a nuclear bunker and going through the tunnels under Odessa- we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure (as long as your are not claustrophobic for the exciting bits!) Thank you for an amazing tour, it was a brilliant adventure!

Communication about pick up time was excellent. There were only 2 couples on this tour. It took around an hour to drive to the delta and in this time, Roman gave us a lot of information in excellent English. The boat trip on the delta lasted around 2 hours and we did see lots of unusual birds including pink pelicans, cormorants, a sea eagle and several kingfishers! Plus LOADS of fishermen on the banks! Once back on dry land, we had a good meal in a nearby restaurant before being driven back to Odessa for around 3pm. A different experience if you have the time! Interesting to see the local countryside/ roadside markets etc.

My family and I came to Odessa to know about the past days of my Grandparents who used to live there, I ordered Davay Poedem to pick us up from the airport and back and ended up traveling with them almost every day including a trip to Arkadia, Roman was our AMAZING driver who kept making us happy and satisfied and even when he couldn't make it for us he sent another driver in no time! The prices are nothing compering to what you get which is great service, kind workers and excellent time in Odessa.
