Amazing tour from start to finish and our guide Jorge was great and knew so much about the country and Antigua is a beautiful place and overall just a great tour from the exploring to the food everything. I definitely recommend and will do it again.

Markets are crazy. Navigation tricky. Just remember two churches on either side for orientation. Food vegetables meats clothes souvenirs. Barging hard. Lots of competition. Below half asking and not more than half. Lots of locals buying their own day to day needs. Keep your belongings in front of you. We'll worth the visit. Great places to eat in and around market.

I went on the 8 days, 7 nights tour and the transportation, hotels and guides provided met my expectations. I was looked after very well by the guides and even though I was traveling alone, I felt safe at all times. The tour covered the major Mayan sites and even though it was quite tiring moving from place to place and changing hotels daily, I felt it was extensive enough for me to see all the major highlights. The guided tours mainly took place in the first half of the day and the rest of the day was for me to explore each place on my own so it had a good mix of tour and alone time.

Wow what a great experience! We undertook this journey upon arriving in Puerto Quetzal on a cruise through the Panama Canal. We were met at the ship by Moises promptly when we got off the ship at 7:00 am. He is a wonderful person who willingly shared his views on the Mayan culture and it’s relationship to Guatamala , Spanish, the land and Catholic cultures. Driving to Antigua which is a 90 minute experience we learned a lot of geographic and geologic information on the Guatemalan plains, Guatemalan volcanoes and the highlands where the old colonial capital, Antiqua was built before it’s destruction in 1773 by a massive earthquake. Upon arriving in Antigua, we began a walk exploring this old and magnificent city. We explored ruins, restored buildings, the Mayan market, the city hall and the main square. We became highly informed about the life of Guatamala’s own San Pedro. We concluded our visit with a delicious meal at a small wonderful typical restaurant recommended by Moises. We completed our tour a little early and Moises took us on a tour of the “real Guatamala” in cities like San Pedro, San Miguel, and the Old City on the way back to the port. We have done a number of these private tours in many cities and countries throughout the world but this was one of the most informative and fun days we had spent. Moises made this all happen with his skills, knowledge, and tube worldview he shared with us. You cannot go wrong in booking this tour with Moises. You will come away enlightened about a region of a country you might overlook in planning your travels. Don’t miss this when visiting the beautiful country in Central America.

We contacted Hector only one day in advance of our walking tour of Guatemala City and the communication was seamless. He responded immediately and we were very happy that the company was still able to offer tours during this time of protests. Our family of four did the walking tour with Don Armando in English and it was INCREDIBLE. Don Armando was very gregarious and everyone in our tour group instantly took a liking to him. He has a wealth of knowledge, was always open for questions, and let us take the tour at a very comfortable pace, allowing for lots of photos and winding conversations. We all felt like we learned a very full history of Guatemala. Don Armando was also very funny too! We absolutely loved our walking tour of Guatemala City and would highly recommend it if you have any time in Guatemala City. It was the highlight of our trip there. So happy we were able to have this experience!

I had a great time at Volcan Pacaya. The guide Mynor Peralta was very knowledgeable and our hike up to the top was nice and fun. He even practiced speaking Spanish with me. There were horses available to rent, but I didn’t feel the need for it and just walked up. The view at the top is amazing. Oh, and he volunteered to take some Instagram worthy pictures, total win.

We only had one day to see Guatemala City and we did it with Armando who guided us through the city. His English was great and very easy to understand. He showed us so many places and explained so many things that we would never have had seen if we had not done this tour. We also were able to book this tour at the last minute and they accommodated our requirements with easy. Highlight recommend this tour company for their Guatemala City Tour!

This company is fantastic! They are easy to communicate with and they are quick to respond. We used them for transport from the airport in Guatemala city to the city of Antigua and everything went smoothly with their driver waiting for us with a clear sign bearing our name as soon as we arrived. In addition, we had an urgent need to travel back to the city at the last minute and I asked them if they could arrange a last minute transport (the night before) and they came through for us! I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I reached out to Hector with GTM Tour Guide and Travel Services a couple of months before a large family reunion in Guatemala City and Antigua to help me coordinate a tour itinerary and private transportation from GC to Antigua and back. Hector was amazing to work with and was always so accommodating with our group's ever-changing needs. I highly recommend coordinating with GTM for large groups like ours, and Hector put me at ease since I had over 20 family members coming together in Guatemala, and I lived in the States. We arranged a private Guatemala city bus tour on Sunday with Don Armando who was a lively Guatemalan for our group who showed us the sights of the City from the comfort of a private A/C bus. Hector also volunteered to put car seats in the bus for the young toddlers in the group. As plans typically change with a large family reunion, the number of passengers going from GC to Antigua increased, and Hector had no issues with securing a larger private bus for our group. We also did a walking tour with Don Armando in Antigua; however, I should have requested 2 tour guides because we had almost 18 people (baby strollers, senior citizens, etc...) and that was a little difficult to maneuver with the cobblestone streets and narrow sidewalks with that many people, but Don Armando kept things moving and interesting. Hector and his group reached out to me during the week to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. I really felt that I had a tour partner while we were in Guatemala.
