This was my kids favorite experience in Antigua. Alex was our awesome guide. We’d already visited the cross so Alex was able to pivot our schedule and we went straight to Hobbitenango. We caught it on a cloudy day but made the most it. Since we had more time, Alex took us to the Earth Lodge for avocado fries and chips/dips. Would highly recommend this ATV experience.

This was a really fun experience for my family of various ages and athletic abilities. We had a great tour guide (Les!) he told us all about the town and surrounding areas and told us the best food and drinks to get at each spot, also gave us some flexibility in terms of what to see and do on our trip. He also took good pics! We absolutely will book with him again!

The Pacaya Volcano ATV Tour was an absolute blast and one of the coolest experiences I had in Antigua! After over 15 years since my last ATV ride, this tour reignited my love for adventure. The views along the way were absolutely stunning! When the rain hit, instead of letting it dampen our spirits, our guides provided us with ponchos and kept us moving forward. The tour guide, Ariel, made the trip enjoyable! He was so personable and shared the rich history of the city and coffee making process. I was the only person on the tour and had a great time visiting the sites. It was like hanging out with someone I’ve known for years and I would definitely go back.

Had a great time with Erick as our guide, but all the other guides were also excellent and recommended restaurants to try. If you are going to Antigua, you most definitely need to try!

We had a great Time, Alex is a fantastic Guide. We stoped at a Rural Market with all kind of fresh food, then one of the highlights was the Chocolate Production with Optional Lunch. Also very much recommended to get Lunch and take your time. My wife and I would take a tour with them again.

super awesome experience. you ride ATV,s almost all day. you go through small mountain villages, volcano lava fields, volcano sand dunes. would defiantly do this again. what i would bring would be a light sweater and sunglasses they cover everything else. pro tip if you want to be a hero to kids that come out to see you pass through there small town (highlight of there day) bring a backpack with sandwich bags full of candy to give away as you pass by.

Must do in Antigua, full day of fun exploring outside the city. Started with a fantastic view from the park outside the city, save yourself the hike. Stopped at the hobbit park, cool, unique spot. Then drove ATVs across town to a neighboring village for chocolate and kumquat wine tasting. Had lunch at a Guatemalan restaurant that serves half portions upon request. Alejandro was our guide, an awesome way to explore outside the historical center and have a blast doing it.

Out of the three FANTASTIC ATV tours I booked through Simoon, the Pacaya Volcano was my absolute favorite. From the moment I arrived at the office to check in, every worker was so friendly and welcoming. Simoon's guides are all so professional, they are easy to communicate with and understanding/flexible with each traveler's needs. My favorite part is always driving the ATVs and the guides are very good at explaining how to use them safely. I felt very comfortable zipping around the mountains/volcano despite being a beginner. It was nice too that the guides took high quality pictures of us throughout the tour and sent them to us later that day. Shout-out to Oscar, Ismael, and Pedro! If you're looking for a thrilling and educational activity in Guatemala, you must book a Simoon Tours. It was the best part of my entire trip! My only request is to add more t-shirt sizes to the shop (XS, S, M). I would have loved to bring home a souvenir shirt.

I had a fantastic time on the ATV Pacaya Tour with Simoon Rentals & Tours! Although the fog prevented us from seeing the volcano, the overall experience was still amazing. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and ensured we all had a fun and safe adventure. The trails and scenery throughout the ride were beautiful, and I loved the thrill of exploring the area on the ATV. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely be back to try another one, hopefully with clearer skies next time!
