One of the things Guatemala is known for is it's incredible Cacao! Choco Museo in Central Park in Antigua, Guatemala does not disappoint with a free experience to learn all about how chocolate is made from seed to feed!
You may elect for their two hour or 30 minute experience. Not only that, you will walk away with your own custom created slice of heavenly chocolate! Yes please!
They have an adorable place to sit and sip your cacao too! I highly recommend the Mayan and /or Comedor!

As a chocolate lover, I had a great time learning about chocolate from plant to palate from Edwin. He shared his knowledge and love of chocolate and the process of taking it from the pod, drying, cooking, peeling, grinding, sweetening (or not) and all the things people from various cultures have added to chocolate over time. I left with my own uniquely flavored bar of dark chocolate.

Joined the class taught by Raul and he was fantastic. Learned so much about the history of chocolate and got to make our own candy and try many drinks. Highly recommend for anyone!

Good morning! We will be in Antigua in November as a port of call. Wanted to check to see if you pick-up and drop-off at the cruiseport? Thank you!
