Pacaya Volcano is one of the most active--and most popular--in all of Guatemala. Stationed some 2,500 meters above sea level, this destination is an ideal spot for travelers who want an easy hike, epic views and some memorable stories. This tour allows you the comfort and ease of pre-arranged transportation to ensure you get the most out of your hike.
What to Expect
The Pacaya Volcano tour departs from Antigua and you can choose to leave at 6:00am returning at 12:00 pm or leave at 2:00 pm and returning at 7:00 pm.
To reach the site it takes around 1.5-hour drive to the town of San Vicente Pacaya where we start the hike. At this point it is only a 2-hour hike to the summit.  This tour includes transportation from and back to Antigua with the company of an expert volcano guide.

Intermediate dusty hike with rewarding views!

Awesome little hike....but no water bottle and no power bar (bring your own!)

this was an amazing little hike. Got to hike a volcano and be back by 1 pm! so much fun. professional driver. great hiking guide. bring a little bit of $ to buy a walking stick. and your own bottle of water. none was provided.

Tough climb but worth it

Great Hike! Great Tour Guide!
