      Recomendable
A very complete tour of the capital of North Macedonia. Without a doubt, Aleksandar Todorovski knows a lot about everything related to the Balkans. It is a tour with very few stops but it is very enjoyable.

      Great, dynamic tour around Skopje
Aleksandar our tour guide was great. He took us around the city, showed us many interesting places, explained a lot of the history not only of Skopje but of Macedonia as such. I recommend Aleksandar to everyone who visits Skopje :)

      Awesome tour. Do not hesitate.
This tour is a must when in Skopje. My family is from Macedonia and we still had information given to us on the tour that we didn't know. Alexsandar is super knowledgeable of the area, the cultures, the politics, and can answer pretty much any question with confidence. He can accommodate multiple languages too. He can cater to adults, kids, and in my case both combined as I took my entire family on the tour. I highly recommend it as part of your visit to Skopje.

      A great guide
People I know of and respect have trusted him for local expertise since the 1990s and taking the city tour really showed me why. He is fast, intelligent and witty in a way that really makes him an excellent guide for any purpose as he combines it with a good dose of honesty and clarity.

Elite guide putting things in their context
It's clear that Aleksandar lives in Skopje because he loves his home even after seeing the rest of the world. He doesn't only explain what we are looking at but also compare it to the history of other places, their architecture and the things that makes Skopje, for good and for bad, a unique place mixing ancient history, brutalist architecture and modern day neoclassical kitsch. The combination of excellent English, passion and a good understanding of both Skopje and the rest of the world makes this a fast-paced tour that really helps to put the unique quirks of Skopje into a proper context which is hard to do without some help.

Excellent, interesting and funny tour around Skopje.
Aleksandar is an excellent guide. A man with great knowledge and passion for Skopje and Macedonia. A man who has traveled and lived in different parts of the world, with that experience he brings in and connects Skopje to stories and details from other parts of the world and their history in a seamless and interesting way. Aleksandar is a great storyteller and obviously a well respected and recognized man on the streets of Skopje and he will show you and explain things that isn’t very well known or highlighted to tourists. A tour with Aleksandar is a must do when in Skopje! A sidenote, Aleksandar is such a great spokesperson for Skopje and North Macedonia, and his ideas and opinions about tourism and how improve and increase it should really be listened to by the North Macedonian Agency for tourism. North Macedonia has such a great history with many historic sites and interesting parts to visit, but many are unfortunately really inaccessible and not promoted to tourists.

We had an excellent walking tour of Skopje that covered about 5 km of ground. It was perfect for our family including two teens. We enjoyed learning about the ancient, modern, and lesser known history of the area. The guide was knowledgable in all areas and didn't just stick with the material he knew. We had another person on the tour who asked specific questions and the guide found time to include those into our tour without missing a beat. The main areas we saw were the central square, the market, the city walls and everything in between. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in getting a better perspective of Skopje and North Macedonia. There was so much information that I could probably go again and learn something new. Very interesting and informative but told in a story-teller way. Loved it. Thank you.

The guide was very friendly and communicative. He was speaking our language (Croatian) which was great. We walked through the whole city center, we have seen and learnt the history, story, facts and info about the town, local people,religion... It was a very good walk and talk tour. We would deffinitely recommend 😊

Had a weekend in Skojpe and wanted to learn some of the history of the city and see the sites.

    This trip didn't disappoint.

There were three of us on the tour (2brits and a german). Aleksandar made each of us feel welcome with his great personable skills and genuine passion for explaining the city and history of the country.

From the main square, we took in various sites including the old train station, the art bridge, the bazaar and the fortress and many other sites along the way.

Plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way and take photos.

This was a fun way to explore the city and I would highly recommend. Thank you Aleksandar, and nice to meet you.

Aleksandar was fantastic! He clearly loved his city + country while also being brutally honest about its history that lead to how it is now. It rained while on the tour but we werr able to find a dry place away from the rain, outside the old church and continue the tour after. I was really impressed by how he seemed to either be friends already with everyone we passed or quickly became friends with everyone we passed.

This was a fantastic walking tour, principally because the guide Aleksandar is knowledgeable, friendly and has a great sense of humour!

The group visited all of Skopjes principal sites in the city centre, receiving an informative and interesting commentary along the way. It was peppered with anecdotes about the history, culture and recent politics of this beautiful city and country.

Mother Theresa's birthplace, the fortress, the mosque, the bazaar, the new city square, the 2014 statues and government buildings, the old stone bridge… any much more besides. There was so much to see and take in.

If you make it to Skopje, you absolutely must spend an afternoon with Aleksandar to fully appreciate everything there is to see.

Amazing tour! Aleksandar can tell you things you will not read in your traditional guidebook. He knows the history of this country, this city, and also the history of the Balkans, so you can get a profound historic and geopolitical insight into the rich dynamics of this land. He also traveled and lived the world so he can compare to other countries and knows quite a lot. His language skills are perfect, and so are his wonderful charm and humor. I would recommend him as your outdoor therapist!

Fantastic experience in Skopje. Aleksandar is extremely knowledgeable about the city. The tour was really dynamic, and he provided us with fun and visual information about Skopje's and North Macedonia's architecture, history and politics. He even recommended us more places to visit in North Macedonia, taking extra time to assess us with our itinerary after the tour was finished. Amazing guide, amazing tour and a cannot-miss experience in Skopje!

Overall, the tour guide was knowledgeable about the subject area. He provided information that was relevant to the tour and good to know. It was a fast paced tour that covered a lot of ground. The only downside – and it’s a big downside –was the tour guide’s nationalistic opinion on Macedonians at the expense of other cultures. As an example and reminiscent of communist propaganda of bygone days, the tour guide ended the tour at Mother Teresa’s house and claimed she was ethnically Macedonian, Croatian and Indian! When he was corrected and told that her ethnicity was Albanian, he doubled down on his own disinformation! I wasn’t gonna argue with him. Instead, I gave him €10 and I silently prayed that he’d use it to go buy himself a coffee and dwell on the implications of such disinformation, especially in the context of a tour of a city made up of multiple ethnic groups.
