We had an amazing time in Macedonia, spent 2 weeks with Shar outdoors guides, MTBing, horse riding, hiking, paragliding, wakeboarding, rock climbing… every day seemed to be even greater than the day before, we saw some magnificent pieces of nature and spent the best time with some of the greatest and friendliest people on this planet. our teenagers enjoyed it a lot. absolutely fantastic, can really recommend the guides and the destination.

We went for a two day hiking tour in the Sharr Mountains with Meto. He was a great guide, really knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel so welcome on our first visit to Kosovo and Macedonia! Our trip was brilliant, so well organised and with great quality kit provided for us. We wild camped through some heavy rain showers and stayed warm and comfortable inside our tent! Meto had lots of alternative options ready for when the weather wasn't going our way which ensured that regardless of the weather we would have the outdoor adventure we were hoping for! We hiked 3 peaks across the 2 days and absolutely loved the whole experience. This trip was even better than I had hoped it would be and would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the Sharr Mountains. Thank you Meto!

I hiked up Mt Korab with Meto my fantastic guide. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable hiking the highest peak in both North Macedonia and Albania. After I sent Sharoutdoors an email about my wish to hike Mt Korab, I was able to make further contact with Meto through WhatsApp. He was very professional in his approach. He picked me up outside my hostel in Skopje and dropped me off later that evening to the hostel in Skopje. He ensured that I had time to stop at a shop for snacks and water for the hike. We later shared a meal after we finished the hike close by to the national park. Meto recommended many tasty foods on the menu. He has a great camera on his phone and kindly took photos for me which he sent to me that day. I enjoyed our conversations. I had such a wonderful day on the mountains. This was definitely a big highlight of my time spent in North Macedonia. I would highly recommend Meto as a guide. I will definitely contact Sharoutdoors for further outdoor activities when I return.

We went on a 25km tour with Sharoutdoors and I can't recommend the team more! First off they explained everything that we need to know and all the tour options before even we decided to go. All of the team members are welcoming and nice, as well as the people who work in the hotel where the tours start from. The bikes are pro and it's really easy to ride them and it's adapted for different fitness level. I'm definitely trying another tour soon! Keep up the good work guys! 😊

I had an amazing day of climbing in Demir Kapija with Ivan and Danko. They both quickly recognized my climbing abilities and accurately suggested routes that would match my style and grade. After a full day of climbing they took me out to a restaurant for food and drinks and gave me plenty of tips for traveling in the rest of Macedonia. Thanks to them I was able to on site a 6B on sport lead!

Macedonia is an undiscovered gem. Exploring it with SharOutdoors and Meto Chillimanov was an exceptional experience. Visiting Macedonia for a trekking experience turned out to be a great adventure! Meto is a professional trekking guide and also a tourist guide. Throughout the treks was very supportive and adaptable for our requests. On days off trek he showed us around Macedonia giving us history of the place. He knows the mountains and his country very well, he showed us the best places, making our trip one to remember! I highly recommend him!
