This is a fantastic way to visit Kosovo. The tour was professional and unrushed throughout. I felt we had plenty of time to visit the sites and ask questions. Our guide Ajhan was so knowledgeable, informative and balanced on the tour. He spoke perfect English. Miki was a cheerful and good driver who also spoke English. The walking tour of Prístina was really interesting. I loved visiting Gracanica Monastery and the highlight of the day was our visit to beautiful Prízren. Enjoying lunch by the river and touring the town is a must. I highly recommend this tour. Do ask for Ajhan as your guide, if you are booking .

A fantastic way to visit Kosovo in a day. Miki was a very safe driver and communicated well with us during the drive. We met our guide, Damir in Pristina who was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Overall a great day out. We travelled in a Mercedes car so felt like royalty sitting in the back seat!! One thing - we paid 4 x the price that was advertised on TripAdvisor (Advertised at around AUD$75 and paid almost $300 each - even though we booked on this site) - I'm guessing it was because there was only two of us?? But we didn't request a private tour so not sure what would have happened if other people had ended up booking on the same day? I just hope that some of the extra we paid was passed onto Miki and Damir.

We utilised Explore Macedonia for two day trips and a transfer to the airport. We did the day trip from Skopje to Kosovo, plus the day Winery trip to Sopot. The day trip to Kosovo was well organised and we never felt rushed. Our driver spirited us thru the border quickly whilst everyone one else was lined up waiting for clearance. The local Kosovar guide was great, knowledgeable and personable. The Sopot winery visit, where we had five course meal with paired wines, was an awesome day. The winery is well and truly worth a visit. I think Explore Macedonia is very easy to deal with and offers quality tours. If we were to travel to Macedonia again, we would happily utilise their services. A shout out to Mikki, our driver, he was excellent.

If you don’t have much time in Albania, I would deprioritize this trip. It was too many hours in the car versus the time spent in the two cities we visited and also Prishtina just turning out to be quite ordinary, Prizren was nice. If you have time on your hands and curious about Kosovo for its history and politics, sure, it could be a good tour. But out of 6 tours we did (including visiting North Macedonia which was a favorite), driving back and forth to Kosovo was the least enjoyable. Having said that our guide was professional and so was the company.

Ohrid was beautiful. Our driver was polite, helpful and informative. Our tour guide Ivana was fantastic, very knowledgeable, passionate, enthusiastic and very funny. She made it the best day of our holiday. Ohrid is well worth the visit.

I really liked the local guide Susane. A lot of knowledge, great mood, properly adapts to the needs of the group (time, interests). Would definitely recommend.

My son and I did a customized private tour of North Macedonia at the beginning of June, focusing mainly on churches and monasteries. We travel a great deal, and have had private tours all over the world, so when I say that our experience has been exceptional, I am comparing it with at least 50 other ones. What stands out the most was our guide Ivana, who was with us for the full 6 days. She was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and (perhaps most importantly) she happens to be a really nice person. I genuinely enjoyed our conversations with her, which often went well beyond history and art. Our drivers were very good as well. We asked to visit a number of places that were "off the beaten path", so their job wasn't always easy. For all longer drives, we had a luxury car (a Mercedes), which was very comfortable. I can also commend the owner of the company, Miki Simonovic, for organizing everything very efficiently, and accommodating all our requests. At the end of the trip, he even drove us to the airport himself (at 2:00 a.m, no less). That is not something that one encounters often. Finally, a few word about the country itself. It is a hidden gem, with historic roots that date back to antiquity. Ohrid is a must see, and one should devote several days to it. Some of the frescoes that we saw there (and in a few other places) were magnificent, and are among the most impressive achievements of medieval art that I ever encountered. And there are no crowds - we were often able to enjoy these masterpieces on our own, which clearly enhances the experience. If you are a savvy traveler looking for something authentic and unspoiled, this is the right place to visit.

The tour was really great, thanks to Suzana, the local guide, who was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and willing to answer any question. Skopje is a nice city, but it is made even more attracting and interesting if properly put in the context of its rich and complicated history (and present), and Suzana was of great help to provide that context. Time passed too quickly, and I was left afterwards wanting to keep the conversation going! Totally worth the money, this guided tour made my Skopje experience much more personal and valuable, if I just had gone on my own wandering around the city center I would have lost so many interesting insights provided by Suzana!

We took two day tours with this company are were very happy with their services. Communication with Miki before the trip was easy and efficient. We had a great time exploring Kosovo with our host Ajhan, Pristina in particular was beautiful and it was great to see what Kosovo is really like beyond what is seen in the media. We had a great day and the driver and guide were both flexible with us considering we had a 2 year old baby with us.

We decided last minute to take this trip and booked less than 24 hours before we went! Everything was greatly organised, good driver Bojan and our tour guard made the whole day informative and interesting! Kosovo is a beautiful place and so worth to visit but Prizren was a gem! Loved the whole experience! Thank you!
