Jorge was fantastic. He’s so knowledgeable about the history of Panama. The tour gave context to all the places we’d seen walking around in Casco Viejo. He speaks clear English and is very personable.

Jorge took us on a snorkeling tour near Portobello. He was so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and went out of his way to make the whole experience very comfortable and enjoyable. We saw beautiful coral and took a walking tour to learn more about the history surrounding that part of the ocean. Jorge also graciously took the time to answer all of our other questions about Panamanian history. We would definitely recommend using Jorge as a tour guide!

Did the walking tour with Jorge on Monday morning, basically had a personalized tour as there was no one else on it only me and my boyfriend. The experience was great, he explained the history and showed us areas that regular walking tours avoid as they’re not as “picture perfect” it was great to see the contrast of the surrounding areas of Casco Antiguo. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ciudad de Panama

Our guide Jorge and driver was absolutely perfect. Jorge was informative and did an exceptional job making our trip worthwhile. Pick up in the hotel on time. On the way to Gamboa he told us a lot of things about Panama City, about Panama Canal. We had a great opportunity to see many monkeys. The boat ride on canal was great. Our boat driver was on the lookout for sights and moved us to make sure we could take pictures or at least see. Sloth sanctuary was really nice, also there are butterfly and frog gardens, which were nice as well. Also we saw there different species of birds. On the way back to the our hotel we saw iguanas. What a fabulous excursion we experienced with Jorge from the start to the end. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

If you are in Panama, this is a must do! Our tour to Casco Viejo was phenomenal!! You won’t be disappointed! Jorge is knowledgeable and very entertaining. His mind is a vault filled with fun facts, dates and pretty cool historical insights. We started our tour in the ruins of what was once the beginnings of Panamá. We learned about the convents and the stumbled upon an archeological burial site that was being preserved. He guided us at our own pace and was able to explain so many interesting facts about the impressive sites. His English is excellent. He is patient and was able to hold the kids attention with little tid bits of history that were very entertaining. The ruins of Casco Viejo were brought over from the original city of Panama after the pirates attacked it in 1671. The convents and sites date back to 1520! Along the tour you’ll visit cute little shops and amazing restaurants with great food!! The town is beautiful and the building are still the old colonial Spanish style. Jorge was able to sit with us and shared more personal stories that made the tour even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back and visit again! Wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Most important of all, be ready to take in some pretty cool historical moments of this beautiful town.
