We hired Christian for a private tour to the Embera Indigenous village at the last minute after another tour company fell through. We had enjoyed his horseback riding tour so much we felt confident he would be a great choice. He did not disappoint us as the tour was great! The transportation to and from the dock was in a clean, comfortable and air conditioned SUV. Christian is very personable and friendly. It was clear by his interactions with the Embera tribe that he was respected and welcomed. We traveled to the village by a motor boat and docked at one of the main islands. The Embera tribe are very friendly and welcoming. Christian was very good about translating everything into English and answering any question. The day was extremely hot, so remember to bring sunscreen, bug repellent and hat/sunglasses! We were fortunate to also get a chance to cool off in the river afterwards. We had an awesome time and would definitely recommend Christian as a tour guide.

The tour guide, Christian Piccoli, arrived at our hotel at the time he stated he would. This may sound like an obvious thing however since arriving in Panama we have found time is “relative”. The transportation was in a clean, air conditioned SUV that Christian drove in a safe manner. Once again, safe driving would be expected however we have found that driving in Panama is an “extreme experience” and not for the faint of heart. The horse riding was on sure footed, well trained horses. We rode through the local countryside, forest and multiple stream crossing. There wasn’t any recent rain so the insects were not an issue however we would recommend sunscreen, insect repellent, hat and sunglasses. Christian was easy to speak with, knowledgeable about the horses and surroundings. This was well worth the cost and a very enjoyable experience. We would highly recommend this tour guide and trip.

This was the perfect tour! Saw birds, butterflies, monkeys, mini-frogs, amazing trees. Had a great hike with an excellent guide.

We got to see howler monkeys howling, lots of birds, and were about as close to the Canal as kayaks are allowed to get. Christian was an excellent guide, very friendly and helpful.

Christian was a great guide and was very helpful in spotting a variety of wildlife along our walk (including monkeys, coatimundis, toucans, agouti, tamandua, butterflies and frogs). We had a blast looking through the trees for animals and the hike wasn't too difficult either.

Thank you Christian for this amazing kayak tour on the Chagres river!!!! Definitely our highlight for the week in Panama.

Our tour guide, Christian met us at our hotel on time, he was very knowledgeable of the area and the animals and birds and friendly and so easy to talk to. We had gorgeous weather, he made sure to remind us to put on sun screen and to stay hydrated. it was well worth the experience. The adventure will not disappoint you

Christian was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He knows the area very well! The kayaking was a lot of fun. The weather didn't cooperate 100% with us, but it was a great way to see birds and the river. Overall, a great trip and a good workout!

Jose' was punctual, a very conscientious driver, and adjusted my tour to my favorite things to do/see. I could not have been happier with this tour and especially, Jose'. Great tour to the canal locks with history about the canals beginnings. When he realized that I am an outdoors/active/nature loving gal, he made sure to let me experience this love of the outdoors by doing some hiking with exceptional views of the city! It was wonderful. The peaceful beauty of a really nice paddle. Christian was wonderful, and it was nice to see the Embera Village; only wish we could have seen more of that.

I enjoyed peaceful paddling on the Chagres River. Our guide Chris helped identify wildlife. Our stop at an indigenous Embera village was heartwarming!

This tour was on of my favorite days in Panama. Our tour guide spoke Excellent English, the captain knew his fishing and the monkey tour was so cool! There is so.much to.see!
