- W9046JBcraigs0 contributionsGREAT Experience with Dennis RobertsDennis Roberts and his team are amazing in every way possible. On a business trip, I found myself with delayed luggage, but I can tell you that Dennis and squad went out of their way to assist me in locating shoppes where I could quickly and efficiently purchase clothing and not miss any business meetings at all. All the time, I felt extremely safe and secure in his vehicles as he navigated the streets of Panama City. I cannot recommend Dennis and his crew more highly for any transportation needs! I appreciate you!!Written April 28, 2023
- Led Z0 contributionsNice boat ride out of the lakeWe booked this trip on our own as the cruise line did not offer it while we docked in Panama City. The site where we picked up the boat was very primitive. By that I mean the men's room was the bushes next to the road. Other than that, all the people were friendly, the boat was not overloaded, and we scurried out to see the Monkeys in quick fashion. We saw a few monkeys (cute little buggers) and one jumped into our boat. It's a bummer that we went at noon time as by then a dozen or more boats had gone out and already fed the little beasties, so they were few and far between. Had we been able to do an early morning trip I would give this a very good rating.Written February 5, 2023
- CleliaHV0 contributionsAmazing Experience with the EmberaWe had the most amazing magical experience touring the Embera village with Dennis. Not only was the trip insightful but Dennis was professional, friendly, knowledgeable about panama and the Embera. I would definitely recommend! He also provides the transportation to and from and is flexible with pick up and drop off times. Just an amazing experience!Written December 8, 2022

- DerekRayburn0 contributionsIt was a highlight of our two weeks in Panama.Dennis selected the perfect boat guide. He knew how to find the Monkey's, what they were and how to attract them. They gave us history of the Canal and the Monkey Islands themselves. Our photos and video turned out perfect. We have contracted Dennis on two separate vacations for several tours each and he has always taken care of us, going above and beyond expectations. He has even taken care of our airport shuttle needs as well! Thank you Dennis!Written May 17, 2021
- MaryV2250 contributionsVery prompt, interestingDennis was on time for pick up and took us to all the places we wanted to visit in a day. He was very knowledgable and personable. There were 4 of us and he picked us up at our hotel. We visited the causeway islands, Old Town Panama and the locks at the canal. It made for a full day. We stopped for lunch in old town . We really enjoyed him.Written March 5, 2020

The city and canal tour with Dennis was really awesome. He showed us all the interesting places in the beautiful old town and knew so many interesting stories and facts to tell us. It was like doing this tour with a friend who showed to us his city. Also the panorama from the Causeway and the Miraflores visitor center with museum and terrace to see the locks were amazing. We had much time to admire a huge cruise ship and a sailing ship passing and take plenty of pictures. It was a great pleasure to do this tour. The car was very comfortable, too. I would recommend this private tour to every visitor of Panama.

Our tour with Carlos was fantastic! We enjoyed every minute of it. He was very accommodating, he is very knowledgeable took his time to explain interesting facts in detail, inserting jokes and good humor along the way. The vehicle was clean and comfortable with a perfectly fitting playlist softly flowing from the speakers. We love the taste of Panama we sampled. Whenever we are back in the area we will look up our new good friend, Carlos!

We only had 48 hours in Panama City before our return flight to the U.S. We booked a private tour of Panama City with Dennis Roberts, Dennis is all about giving good customer service.. He arrived early to our hotel and since we were already waiting for him in the lobby, off we went. We headed first to the Panama Canal. We were first in line ahead of a large tour. We went to the lower deck to avoid the crowd of the other tour. He has a lot of knowledge about the history of the canal and loves to quiz you on your own knowledge. We saw a couple of cargo ships passing through and it was the highlight of the tour. Then it was off to Casco Viejo for a walking tour. It was great having that one-on-one question and answers with him and lively discussions on history and politics. We visited the Panama sign for a photo op and ended our tour with a 360 scenic view by the water where we discussed how Panama lies north/south. I would highly recommend a tour with Dennis for his knowledge and lively discussions. Thank you Dennis.

Our guide Dennis Roberts was excellent! We had advance booked our private tour for four through our travel agent. When Dennis picked us up at our hotel we discussed what we were interested in seeing and he proposed an itinerary. When one of our party expressed interest in how the Panama Canal was built, he obliged with a stop for photos at a historic steam shovel and he drove us over the Millennium Bridge for a great view of the canal from above. I need to comment here that the air conditioning in Dennis’ vehicle worked great which was welcome in the heat. We visited the Panama Canal visitor’s center at the Miraflores Locks and Dennis gave a great explanation of the lock operation. Next was a very interesting walking tour of the Panama City Old Town historic district with more informative narration from our guide. We requested an opportunity to visit a grocery store to pick up some local goods and Dennis whisked us to one immediately. We had already visited the Causeway on a different tour, so Dennis gave us a driving tour of the Panama City financial district with its impressive skyscrapers before returning us to our hotel. Our tour lasted about 5.5 hours and we were very pleased with the tour and our guide. If you are looking for an informative and professional private tour that can be customized to your specific interests (within reason of course) this is the way to go!

Our guide Rogelio (Roger) arrived at our hotel to collect us right on time and escorted us to a private vehicle which was comfortable and spacious. We had transited the Panama Canal so suggested that we did not need to do the Canal Museum. We were interested in Old Panama and Casco Viejo and anything else that could be fitted in to our 4 hours. Roger drove past the ruins of Old Panama and pointed some out. It was only later that I found out there is actually an old Panama Museum. I would’ve liked to have, and would have paid to go into that to see more. We did a full walking tour of Casco Viejo and got all the history from our guide who was very knowledgeable. Then onto the causeway where we stopped for a photo op. The only other negative I have is that the detail says that WiFi is available and that water would be provided. Neither were offered. Overall I would recommend this tour as it highlights the major areas of Panama in a short space of time.

This was our first time in Panama City with a very short stay, which was made perfect with Dennis . It was a very informative and enjoyable private tour.
Dennis is such a great tour guide, who speaks fluent English, has a nice personality, very knowledgeable and accommodating.
My husband likes to ask lots of questions and take lots of pictures, Dennis never rushed us, and he always made us feel at ease.
When we have a chance to come back to Panama City again, we will definitely ask Dennis to take us for other tours that he operates.

Don’t use them!! They were at the wrong cruise port said we didn’t specify which port we would be coming in on and to come get us they wanted to charge our party of 7 $100 each to come pick us up. Rip off they stole our money. When I booked this tour months ago I specified pick up location is Carnival Dream port it should not be our responsibility to know which port we come in on this is their business to have this information.

We explored the Panama Canal. Jose was our guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I have gained a new understanding of the Canal. Very interesting to learn about the history and present day functions. To see the actual ship go through the canal and pass through the locks was time consuming with highs and lows due to how long it took for things to happen. The IMAX movie was very interesting. Do not bypass it. After, there was another stop at a more touristy area. I don't remember the name, but it had restaurants and shops and was very pricey. Tourist trap--we bypassed that and checked out more of the city.

What started as a walking tour of Casco Viejo morphed into a city wide tour of Amador Causeway, Miraflores Lock, Puente de las Americas, Isla Flamenco and so much more! What an incredible experience and marvelous tour guide. Berk was so knowledgeable and accomodating we booked a City Tour with him. We were so lucky.

Loved this tour and our tour guide Mr. Barnaby.
Even before the tour began, we got a call to confirm our tour and since it was starting at 10 AM they recommended a few options so that we could see the ships crossing the canal instead of waiting around. We opted to start our tour a little later around 11ish. Our tour guide showed up right on time and he was very pleasant and friendly. He was knowledgeable and very engaging. He walked with us showing us different parts of Casco Viejo while telling us the history. He then took us in the car to Causeway Amador, then to the Centennial Bridge, then showing us the Pedro Miguel locks and finally the Miraflores Locks. He waited patiently around with us while we watched the ships going through the canal. Cannot thank Mr. Barnaby enough for making this an unforgettable experience
