we used Camilo as a guide and transport to the airport in December 2024 after a cruise finishing in panama city at 8am in the morning and flight not until early evening. We found him amazing from him from being flexible when time of docking and flight times changed. He always responsed quickly to any emails we sent him. On the day he picked us up from Cruise terminal with our bags and took us (via seeing many sights from the car) to the Metropolitan Natural Park where we actually saw a couple of Sloths in their natural habitat. As still being early we seemed to have the whole Park to ourselves . Camilo was full of facts and guided us around the park at our own pace. We then went to the Panama canal museum in the centre of town which my husband and myself found extremley interesting and as it was just us and Camilo we had as long as we wanted/ needed in the museum. We then went for a walk around the town before our trip to the airport for our flight.. We found that Camilo did and provided exactly what we wanted and found him very flexible, knowledgeable and just what we wanted. I would highly recommend Camilo for a private tour of city and/or a driver to the airport. I cannot thank him enough for making our last day of our holidays so smooth and carefree, We definitley recommend him

A truly unique experience to discover the flora and wildlife of Panama Canal. The pick up at the hotel was in time. Our guide Alfonso was truly knowledgeable and his English was perfect. He gave us a lot of useful information about the tour, the city, the history, the animals and the flora. Well organised and friendly. The trip on a boat next to the vessels transiting Panama was a unique experience. We could see plenty of animals ( birds, monkeys, iguana, sloth…) I loved that the group was not too big. Alfonso answered all the questions we had about a lot of local topics and about the animals. It was great. Highly recommend.

We always use Camillo as our travel guide when we travel to Panama City. Our Family has been on almost all of his tours, he is always friendly and welcoming to all of us. I found Camilo on Trip Advisor after searching for someone to assist with transportation for a tour I was organizing for a group of 11. All of the positive reviews he has are well-deserved and correct. Camilo is very professional and easy to get along with. He was very helpful during the planning stages of the trip and helped me to stay informed as the recent protests in Panama kicked off and were on-going during our trip. As a person who had never traveled to Panama before, I had to rely on the vendors and tour operators on the ground to help me help our group navigate the city during a turbulent time. I feel very lucky to have had Camilo on our side. I was very impressed with the airport transfers. Members of the group arrived at different times and someone from Camilo’s team was waiting (with a sign) to pick them up at the airport. In addition to the airport transfers, we did a tour of Portobelo-Isla Mamey with Camilo. Even despite the down-pouring rain that we encountered that day(!), members of the group still remember it as a wonderful and memorable day. And I have to attribute that to Camilo. I came across Camilo's contact information in a Tripadvisor forum, and after reading the consistently good reviews, I decided to contact him. Initially, I thought I would only use him for Panama airport transfers, since our flight was landing pretty late. Then he explained to me that he also does tours and he gave me details of the different tours he could do. I noticed in his emails that his English was very good, as were his prices. So, I decided to use Camilo for our entire Panama trip which was a week long. This was the best decision and our trip was an enjoyable one since Camilo was reliable, on time and a very good tour guide. This is a breakdown of what I fixed up with Camilo: 1. Panama city airport to Airbnb transfer (our flight was delayed by 2 hours. Camilo was at the airport with a sign at close to midnight and he welcomed us and dropped us off safely). 2. Panama city tour (Casco Viejo, Amador causeway) and Miraflores locks (the canal) This is a must do. 3. The Embera tribe tour (for this one, Camilo sent his colleague, Luis, who was great. We enjoyed our day). 4. El Valle de Anton (we wanted to hike the Sleeping Indian Girl trail in El Valle. I could only climb half way due to my bad knees. Camilo stayed with me and guided me back down the trail, while my husband made it to the top and back). 5. Portobelo and beaches (He took us to the historic Portobelo sights; the old fort, the Black Christ, the Customs house and we then took a boat to Huerta beach for some swimming). 6. Gamboa rainforest resort and Tree Trek zipline (this was mainly a transport requirement, so he sent his colleague Manuel with the vehicle and we were taken to see the sloths at the resort and then we did the zipline at that location. Quite an adventure). 7. San Blas Islands (Camilo had organized this perfectly and everything went well. We had a long but good day trip to the islands). 8. Return transfer to the airport for our flight home. We were very happy with Camilo's service, guidance and his efforts to make sure that everything was on time and went smoothly. He also gave us suggestions for places to eat out, shop and so on. Thank you, Camilo!

My wife and I have hired many tour guides - in Europe, the Middle East and Central America. When I first reached out to Camilo, he replied with a list of tours he offers plus transportion options. I answered him and said we’d like to book some of them. But Camilo never got around to expressly confirming anything. Even after I specifically asked him about details, he failed to provide any information about when or where or with whom we might be meeting up. In fact, his only reply to my request for details was an ambiguous one-word email three days later saying “sure” (meaning what?). Almost a week after asking him for specifics - and just a few days before our departure for Panama - our hotel reached out and offered airport transfers and other tour services in a clear, detailed “welcome” email. So we decided to book through them instead. I promptly emailed Camilo to let him know we’d made other arrangements. He replied with not one but two(!) angry emails disparaging our judgment and travel savvy as well as our hotel (which is top-rated by Tripadvisor). We know Camilo gets lots of rave reviews - that’s why we contacted him in the first place. But these completely unprofessional “parting shots” of his absolutely confirmed to us that we’d made the right choice in not going with him (and the tours and transfers arranged through our hotel were fantastic, incidentally!).

My wife and I just returned from Panama. We were recommended to use Camilo's services and we were not disappointed. He picked us up at the airport even though we were significantly delayed by passport control and waiting for luggage but Camilo was there waiting with a sign with our name on it! We used Camilo for the monkey island/sloth sanctuary tour and for the Portobello beach day. He is prompt, full of knowledge that he readily shares and his cars were immaculate. His English is excellent. He even gave us tips about other places to visit even though we were not using some of his additional services. Skip the cruise line transfer! Use this option instead. We needed a transfer from Colon back to Panama City after a cruise. The rates with the cruise company were ridiculous and the times did not work with our flights. Fortunately we found Camilo and his wonderful CAB Transfers and Tour. He sent Alejandro to pick 4 of us up return us to Panama City, do a tour of Casco Viejo, grab a bite to eat and drop 2 at airport and 2 at hotels. A total custom experience with an informative guide who tailored the information and experience to our needs. Excellent English as well, as only one of us spoke Spanish. Learned a lot about Panama present and past. After our short tour, would love to come back and stay in Casco Viejo AND we would contact Camilo for all our transfer and tour needs while in Panama!

Camilo is a jewel, and something of a genie as well. As far as I can tell he can make anything happen for you, and do so with a smile and excellent English. 10 of us went from the cruise port to a dinner downtown, and he was able to pick us up right at the ship, no easy thing at the perpetually under-construction port, let the restaurant know that we would be arriving late due to Canal transit delays, collect us at the restaurant when we were finished, and take us back to the ship afterwards. The next day he took 3 of us upriver to visit the Embera village (highly recommended) then showed us some city highlights, again picking us up and returning us right at the ship's gangway. You can trust Camilo, and the excellent drivers he uses, to take really good care of you while he shares his great knowledge of his country.
