          Mind blowing
It was so beautiful. Mind blowing to imagine we were inside a volcano. crater. Then to be at the top and look down and around. WOW

Not a real jungle in the city as advertised
Seriously, this is not worth USD 4 entrance fee, since you see very little from the jungle (not to compare with Soberiana close to Panama City). The only exception is if you want to do jogging or view of the city´s skyline.

A pleasant 3 day stay in Casco Viejo, Panama
I strongly recommend staying in Casco Viejo, a very nice neighborhood, although quite far from the international airport. From here you will be quite close to Miraflores Panama channel attraction, where you can see a transatlantic ship crossing the channel. They also offer a tour to Monkeys Island, a must-see attraction, 5 hours long. Another good and pleasant activity is a 4 km walking (boardwalk) by the ocean, from your hotel in Casco Viejo. They also have in Casco Viejo, cool bars, and restaurants on the roof of some buildings, that offer a magnificent view in a superb atmosphere, some with live music. Profit from your stay by visiting the Cathedral. Use UBER here in Panama! Excellent!!!

          OUTSTANDING AND HISTORIC TRIP...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We booked this excursion through Princess Cruise Line (we were on the 'Island Princess' cruise ship, which spent a day at the Panama City port of 'Fuerte Amador' before we cruised through the Panama Canal from the Pacific to the Atlantic side the next day). OUTSTANDING AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A bus picked us up at the cruise ship port (Fuerte Amador) and we then drove for approximately 1 hr + 15 min to Colon. We passed nearby/through the suburbs of Colon and drove across the 'Atlantic Bridge' in both directions...which provides an excellent view of both the old and new Panama Canal Lock's. We then drove 10-15 minutes to the Visitor's Center at the 'Agua Locks' (the name for the new canal locks) and spent 1 hour there...great views of the new canal/locks and the ships passing through it + great facilities + great gift shop. We then rode the bus for another 10-15 minutes to the nearby Panama Canal Railway Station in Colon. We boarded the historic train there for the scenic 1 hr to 1 hr + 15 min ride to Panama City. We tried to book a seat in the 'Dome Car' of the train, but ended up in a 'standard car'...which was actually better. It has most-excellent seating and the same fantastic views (large windows)...PLUS you can walk out of either end of the car to a large outside platform for the best views of all! The train crosses the Chagres River several times and you can see Gatun Lake approximately 1/3 of the time during the ride to Panama City (we also saw a couple Crocodile's from the train). OUTSTANDING AND HISTORIC TRIP...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! abeam Lake Gatun

Excellent way to spend an afternoon - perfect for people of all ages
This is not really a Bio Diversity Museum. It is much more a Natural History museum that covers many different aspects of Panama's geologic, biology, environmental and anthropology. It is easy to spend two or three hours reviewing the numerous exhibits. Most of the exhibits have descriptions in both Spanish and English. In addition, the friendly staff are roaming around who can explain the exhibits, many of whom are bilingual.

          Worth it
Worth to visit it! I was surprised to see so little visitors here. In the moment I started to visit it was only 5 visitors in the park (they have a list). Not so many animals, but still some to see (hawler monkey-2 of them, coati, red head woodpeckers, tucan, hawks). Even without animals still worth. Nice view over the city, nice forest. Need 2 ½ hours to make all the trails,. not in a hurry. Should have water with you, 8s very humid and sweat a lot.

          Great Museum Tour!
This was a great tour - the 3 museums in Casco Viejo were amazing and provided good background of the history of Panama, of the Canal, but also the culture, the political history, the geological history. And the Bio-Museo was also awesome and gave good information on the country's geological history, its current bio-diversity. Many of the exhibits were interactive and are great for kids and adults, alike. The tour guide had a good command of English (though I also tried to practice my Spanish with him and he was very patient). He was flexible and accommodating and provided good background information on a variety of topics. He answered all of my questions, even those not specifically related to the museums. He pointed out things along the way. He had to make adjustments to the tour because of traffic issues and road closures, but did so happily. Overall, I thought it was a great tour, particularly if you enjoy museums, and was a good value for the price of the tour.

Very knowledgeable and spoke great English!
Douglas drove me around Panama for several trips while my husband was in business meetings. He knew the city extremely well. He told me lots of fascinating tidbits I would have not known. Even when we were in terrible traffic(rush hour is awful) or sketchy areas, he made me feel safe and comfortable. He even took me to Monkey Island and brought fruit so I could feed the monkeys!

A nice humid walk through nature
It's kind of amazing that this park exists so close to the city. It's a better version of Central Park in New York City. It's a medium to high intensity walk, but the paths are clearly marked and well maintained. You will have the chance to see Capybaras, Anteaters, Toucans, dozens of other bird species along with monkeys and sloths (I didn't see those). Halfway through the hike it rewards you with a great panoramic view of the city, and then it's all downhill from there. I would recommend this for a whole morning hike.

          Panama Canal Railway Tour
Took this tour to see the Panama Canal and its history. You take a bus tour to train and back. The train was interesting. Much history was discussed. Given a genorous snack and drink. Got to see the Panama country side.
