From the new concept ice cream shop to traditional grill, everything was delicious. First had some Turkish coffee. It was good and strong. Then went to have ice cream and had some raspberry with it. Serbia is the number one producer of this fruit. I had it with raspberry, dark chocolate and passionate fruit. What a combo. Then went to another place and had the following: Had Mesa which is an appetizer that consisted of pork cornbread, and chimak Had qwince rakija which is much lighter Did a uzhacolla dance which is very similar to square dancing; it was one of Serbia's traditional dances Then went to a bar and had four different rakija. My favorite was the raspberry Then went to a bakery and had a gulash. This was actually okay and it was too salty and bland for my taste. I have tried gulashes elsewhere and it was not as salty. Finally, went to a restaurant and had some beer and tons and tons of very tasty meat. There was some music playing as well. Very calm and soothing.Written September 8, 2016

Joined Jovana and Nedeljko on a food tour around the city. It was a phenomenal experience, to enjoy food and see how history and culture has shaped Belgrade's food scene. I learnt about how its coffee culture was shaped by the Ottomans in one of the few authentic Kafanas in town, savoured a plate of traditional Serbian food at an old school restaurant, discussed the revitalisation of traditional foods by hipsters in one of the most popular knedle shops in town and celebrated local ingredients at a young ice cream parlour revolutionising how Belgrade enjoy ice cream, and ended the day eating some of the sweetest fruits like the locals did at a market.
Even more wonderful was how Jovana and Nedeljko customised the trip to try dishes that I had not tried prior to the trip so I'd get a full mix of flavours.
An amazing experience well worth the price and more worth the friendship and conversation!

Our tour started at an old tavern in the centre of Belgrade we got taken on a relaxed walking route to about 5 different places with some food or a drink at each place. There was a good variety of places to stop old, new and street food. The food is mixed - some sweet and some savoury. Our guide was very knowledge and passionate about the city of Belgrade and at the end of the tour a felt like a had a much better understanding of Serbian culture and also I was very full no food needed after the tour!

Marina was an absolutely fantastic guide. And the tour was perfect. I ended up on the tour alone, which I was worried would be awkward, but Marina was a fabulous conversationalist- and so knowledgeable!She knew so much fascinating history! The tour was an easy walk with lots of stop in between. We started with coffee and went to a total of 5 places - I was pleasantly full - but not painfully stuffed. All of the food was diverse and in such great neighborhoods! I would 100% recommendation this tour to anyone who loves food, history, or just a great stroll with someone who can help you get or know the city. Well worth the money I paid! I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Very good tour and a great way to start a weekend in Belgrade. Marina showed us some cool locations and the history behind them. We went to some of the locations she showed us several times afterwards, e.g Question Mark restaurant, Gunners Pub (we couldn’t find the Cevapi-place which was the best one we tried during the weekend)

We had an amazing time on the tour, our guide Maria (sorry if we have got the name wrong) was absolutely amazing. Myself and my girlfriend were the only people on the tour but it was not awkward in the slightest, Our guide was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the history of Serbia and Belgrade. All the food was delicious, the meze being our highlight. We were very full so it was very fortunate that we were able to take some of the food home with us and have it later.
Fantastic experience, learnt so much about Serbian culture and history, would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience on this exclusive tour (there was only one other participant on the tour with me) from the very friendly tour guide. We learned about Serbian culture, what daily life is currently like in Belgrade, and of course, about some of the famous Serbian dishes. We never felt rushed and truly felt welcome the entire time. This is a MUST experience for those who want to truly experience Belgrade.

I can attest Food Tour Belgrade is still providing an excellent experience. Marina was a super enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, the venues were top-notch and Marina went out of her to ensure we had a exceptional experience.
She also happens to be a great reader of coffee grounds. You will have to take the tour to find out what that means.

Good variety of food on this tour! Pizza, beer, meats, dessert, drinks. Our guide told us tidbits of information along our walk and was very social with the group. Fun evening activity with a group.

I chose the food tour combined with the castle tour. It was supposed to be a group tour but I ended up being the only client that day, and was glad that they didn't cancel and still honoured the reservation even for just 1 client. That's a sign of a good tour company. I felt respected as a solo traveller.
The food was fun to discover and since I was alone I got to bring the leftovers home! The tour guide was fun and also included knowledge about the culture, I learned a lot.
The little gift at the end was a nice touch. I would recommend this tour!

What a memorable experience! Firstly, the guides were absolutely fantastic - so friendly and knowledgeable. And of course, the food was phenomenal, all while getting to walk around the city and take in the extraordinary culture. Strongly recommend as Belgrade trip would not be the same without it!
