Itinerary
- Kralja Petra 7, Beograd, SerbiaThe meeting point is at the square in front of Elementary School King Peter the First, located on the corner of Kralja Petra Street and Gracanicka Street.
- 1Embark the boat, relax and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere on board while listening some interesting facts about majestic rivers the Sava and the Danube, their confluence and the most important islands. While passing by the biggest of them – The Great War island, you will hear about its significance for Belgrade’s history and conservation of flora and fauna. Zemun town with its Millennium (Gardos) tower is also visible from the boat. Zemun is one of Belgrade's municipalities today, but until the middle of 20th Century it was a separate town. You will hear about its turbulent history, since it was located on the Austro-Hungarian border. View from the boat to the Belgrade fortress and stunning bridges is also unforgettable!

- Lin G0 contributionsThe trip is not to be missedI thoroughly enjoyed the tour to the Drina River House and Tara National Park. Milan is an outstanding tour guide—exceptionally knowledgeable and informative. The experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it!Written November 23, 2024

- NYWanderer0 contributionsBeware steep, marble rampWe are an older couple, 70's, who selected this tour. In all honesty, if you read the description, you will see that the stops do not sound particularly impressive. They were not. The guide did a good job of talking about the history and cute stories about the places but there are better places to spend your time. At the start of the tour, he told the group that we would have to walk down a ramp but there were hand rails. The ramp was old, marbelized, slippery rocks that had other, younger members of the group grasping on to the handrail just as desperatey as we did. There were other steps on the tour which required a certain amount of fitness but this ramp was not a good idea for older adults. We would not recommend this tour. We did not finish the tour so we did not see the surprise at the end or have the wine. This still would not change my suggestion that older adults think very carefully before booking this tour.Written September 18, 2024

- 582rachelh0 contributionsDay trip to Eastern SerbianVery passionate, patriotic and informative guide. I liked the fact there was flexibility between the stops and we were not in a rush. The group were really nice and I made friends. The trout fish dish and Serbian local wine was the highlight at the restaurant when stopping at the waterfall. Tip: bring snacks and plenty of water, and a light jacket for the caveWritten August 18, 2024
- Wanderer3626130 contributionsMy best trip in SerbiaWe had a great, interested and testy tome with our guide Milan, who walked us through the history, beautiful nature and local cuisine. Comfort driving and polite communication, that was like meet your good friend. The cave is impressive and cold. It was +38 deg outside and +10 deg inside the cave, so we refreshed very well :) Thank you all to make this trip true. Thanks to Milan to represent country in such an interested and gentle way.Written August 17, 2024
- LinLin_Amami0 contributionsVery good experienceThe driver was very fluent in English and knowledgeable. It was a very hot day but he tried his best to let us wait in the shad while he went to pick up the car in the sun. He found us seats in the train and told us to walk around all cars since each car was different. Did not see many people walking around so I guess a lot of people may did not know about it. After the train ride, we went to a nice restaurant and had some tasty roasted lamb.Written August 17, 2024

Dreadful. We booked through this company and waited at the meeting point as instructed. After waiting with no sign of anyone we rang them. Our tour had been cancelled with no communication!
We had to push for a refund which they would not give, but offered us an alternative tour later that day. The tour they put us on was nearly half the price and significantly worse than what we booked. When we requested a partial refund we were told flat out no.
The boat we were rearranged on was slow and very hot with only two fans available for the full boat. We were able to walk further in about the same amount of time. It also is advertised as a Danube cruise, but you don’t leave the city at all and stay 90% on the Sava River. The team don’t stop the music when the limited audio guide plays so you can barely hear anything.
It is also advertised as non smoking, but the team onboard were all smoking throughout the trip.
Overall I would not recommend booking this tour. The company communication was poor with both the cancellation and the standard of the rebooked trip.

I have done several of these types of sunset cruises. Compared to the others, this was extremely average. The shoreline isn't all that exciting (not that this is the company's fault). What was disappointing was the way the company handled the seating once onboard. It was very disorganized. Everyone boarded and was instructed to find a seat. Then they went around asking people to move to another table to join other people. I took a small table with only one chair since I was alone. I watched as they shuffled people around and no one was happy about it as I could hear them mumbling and commenting. Finally, everyone is seated and the guide comes up to me and tells me the table I'm seating WITH ONE CHAIR is reserved. Yeah, um...flat out lie. He wanted me to movevas they were selling additional tickets for the cruise on the pier. I don't mind sharing a table but the lack of ordination and the juggling of people was bad. They could easily have done a seating assignment and avoided the chaos. Anyway, this goes unto the "missable" category.

Our first time to Serbia, here to visit family and we only have 2 full days.
This cruise was a lovely intro to a very beautiful city steeped in history.
From booking to meeting Jelena our guide outside the elementary school comms was perfect, I got a message on my WhatsApp informing a time change because this was a sunset cruise and the sunset was earlier on our day.
Jelena knew her history, her English better than mine and I’m English and she explained everything so nicely.
Beautiful views of the Sava and the Danube just made this a perfect 90 mins.
It’s October so wrap up warm, the weather has been warm here but it was cold on the water and I was glad I had my coat and beanie!
Where you dock there’s a plethora of restaurants to chose from and we had a fabulous meal for another review.
My only feedback is they need advance communications for those who find walking difficult, from the meeting point to the dock there is a walk down a120 steps and if you couldn’t do that you could get a taxi to the boat point, however if walking is difficult getting on and off the boat is something you need to consider.
Love the cruise, beautiful scenery, fabulous guide worth every penny.

Went as a solo traveler and paid for my ticket like everybody else yet when going to sit down apparently I wasn’t allowed to sit wherever… I had to be isolated onto a table for just one right in the middle of the boat away from any of the views or good atmosphere. They allowed ‘groups’ to board first while everyone else was left to wait by the side of the boat to board last.
The speakers did’nt work properly so it was hardly a tour and instead there were random blasts and screeching noises throughout.
Wouldn’t recommend.

We contacted the city's tourist office 🏙️ to do this cruise 🚢 it's a bit cliché but it's worth doing to discover the city from the save
It costs 20€ per person
You can have a drink on board
No need to take a guide to get there

We booked the sunset boat tour. Our tour time was changed to the afternoon, so that took some of the ambiance of a sunset tour away. It was still a nice boat ride. The boat offered some information about what we rode by in both Serbian and English. Our guide added in some additional information, but it was often hard to hear everything he said because he had to talk about the boat's background music. It might be better just to book the boat ride on your own instead of with a tour.

Bojan, our guide, met us on time and lead us to the boat which was spacious with tall opening windows on the upper deck. During the 1.5 hour trip, Bojan pointed out not only the sights but the history of the buildings and ships as we passed and was very knowledgeable, considerate and treated each of the group individually. the on-board bar was well stocked and served at your seat. An excellent evening and good value.

It was a nice trip over the river. The boat was OK with some ability of physical distancing. The guide was fun, with a good sense of humor. He shared good enough info (did not kill us with details, just shared enough to blend some info with scenary) giving us space to enjoy the views.

We had a lot of fun. Great conversation, historical context, jokes. Iva was like an old friend who also happens to be a Serbian history professor. Deep admiration for expert conversationalist who can talk to a wide group of ppl in unique snd specific ways while having a universal sense of kindness, levity, and understanding. Iva has all these attributes.
