- 259rajt0 contributionsIncredible Balkan tour! What an incredible experience we had with Victor Tours! Our nine-night private tour through the Balkans exceeded all our expectations. When we first reached out to Ivana, the travel specialist, after discovering Victor Tours online, we had no idea how extraordinary this journey would become. From the moment we touched down in Belgrade to our departure from Albania ten days later, we were in the capable hands of our guide, Vladimir Delevich. He didn’t just drive us through five different countries—he took the time to immerse us in the rich history, diverse cultures, and unique traditions of each destination. Having Vladimir as our guide, with a private car just for the two of us, was invaluable. He expertly navigated the complexities of different languages and currencies, ensuring we could fully enjoy each moment without any worries. This trip was truly memorable, thanks to the meticulous planning and arrangements by Ivana and Victor Tours. We are deeply grateful for the experience—thank you! I had only one full day to see as much as I could in Belgrade and this tour was exactly was I needed to do it. I was picked up promptly by the group at 9:25 am outside my hotel and the day tour began... In total, the tour lasted about 8 hours. I’d like to give a big special thank you to our tour guide Milica and our driver Sasha. Milica did a great job guiding us through all the sites and so did Sasha by driving us around to all of the said sites promptly and safely. We saw many of the top sites in Belgrade including the Belgrade Fortress, Avala Mountain and Tower, Zemun, and St. Sava Temple. We had an amazing group on this tour as well, made some great friends. If you’re limited on time in Belgrade and need a way to see as much as possible on 1 day definitely book this tour. I thought it was well worth it as the highlights in Belgrade are kind of far apart and not very walkable from each other. - Nolan

Full day tour of Belgrade and its surroundings. We were only 3 people on the tour with an outstanding guide, Jovan. He explained to us the entire complex history of Serbia during the full day. He was so informative and passionate about the history and it helped put everything we saw in context. We toured a lot of interesting sites: we had sweeping views of the country side from the Avala and Zemun towers; we walked around the extensive Belgrade Fortress and visited several sites in the city. The Saint Sava temple was most impressive to me: the interior was recently completed fully in mosaics including a lot of gold--it could be the most beautiful orthodox church I have ever visited.

By far, this is the best ever European City Tour I’ve participated in! Our guide Kosta was highly knowledgeable with Serbian history and the dynamics of the geopolitical changes that shaped what is Serbia now. This is a very insightful tour. It was a combination of driving and walking. Kosta was passionate about the colorful history of Serbia. We visited several places and points of interests like New Belgrade, Zemun, the Belgrade Fortress, the Tomb of the Unknown Hero, the Republic Square, etc. He pointed out several structures that reflected the different historical eras that Serbia underwent. I highly recommend this as a necessary tour for first timers to Belgrade. Kosta, you’re the man!

As an American woman traveling solo, I booked three tours with this company and enjoyed all of them. The vehicles were clean and comfortable.
I had a great time during this tour. Our guide spoke great English and was very attentive.
I especially loved going into the military church and the chapel devoted to mothers in Kalemegdan Park.

WoW... what a tour! It really is a BIG Tour... you walk, you ride, you look, you see, you hear... then you do it some more! It is a BIG day. I think we got lucky as an overflow group and ended up with only 3 people. This really allowed our guide Drazen to shine... His talks were like drinking Serbian History through a fire hose! He is clearly deeply knowledgeable. We were also able to see his friendly personality and enjoy a lunch together with him. While not everyone may be as fortunate to have such an intimate experience, I am confident that the larger groups still see all the same sights and have well educated articulate guides who love their country and enjoy sharing it with visitors!

We enjoyed every moment of this highly recommended tour. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, obliging and kind. The city is breathtaking, filled with cultural treasures, gastronomic delights and people who are warm and resilient. Beograd is a city with so much to offer to even the most seasoned of travellers. Don't hesitate to put this one onto your bucket list!

All the sites held interest on this tour. Perhaps because our tour guide, Sasha, was a wealth of knowledge and a good laugh. There were six guests and Sasha spent time with each, on a one to one level during the trip.
I learned so much about the Serbian/Belgrade history.
Can’t say enough. Go for it

I would like to book this day tour but as I am travelling solo what will the price be for me if I am placed in a group? I looking at 22nd sept 19
Written July 28, 2019
The prices are usually for when you are placed in a group. If they can not get a whole group together, you will get offered to cancel or to book a single tour. The price will be roughly double of the group price but I can highly recommend the single tour, I did one in may.
