- Rleshem0 contributionsFascinating tour understanding SerbiaWe were a group of 4 people doing the tour with Marco as our guide. Throughout the tour Marco has demonstrated exceptional knowledge about the history of Yugoslavia and the Balkan area. The general experience was great, Marco knew how to explain difficult and complex topics and was able to make them easier to understand and digest. We asked many questions about life in Serbia and his personal views and insights, Marco answered them with patience and knowledge and helped us understand more about the complicated reality in the Balkan today and in the past. We highly recommend this tour to anyone that would love to understand more about this fascinating area. Thank you Marco, good luck with your next groups!Written July 24, 2024

- sheri0100 contributionsPersonal Insights Into the Real History of YugoslaviaMy husband and I booked this tour, expecting to learn about the Communist era in the former Yugoslavia and the legacy of Josip Broz Tito...and while we did learn a lot about those topics, we walked away with a priceless experience, so much more. This tour allowed us to gain a much greater understanding of Serbian history, it's culture and the passion and strength of its people. We discussed many topics over the course of this tour, including the transition of the republic to the socialist government as we walked around key locations in the Belgrade City Center. By approaching these discussions with an open mind, we walked away with a much greater understanding of the complex history and current political structure of the Balkan countries. Nebojsa was a fantastic tour guide who went out of his way to engage every individual on the tour, and to talk with each of us about our own individual questions. He was gracious, professional and polite to every person on the tour, and I felt we had a much greater understanding of the amazing Serbian experience, history and culture after our morning with him. While our conversation with Nebojsa and his companion guide were the highlights of the tour, I do have to make a special call-out of our trip to the Museum of Yugoslavia that ended the tour. This was such a special experience: the Museum was a little bit further out, and not a place where we would probably have gone on our own; but our guides took us on a trolley ride to the site, and then walked us through the entire facility, including Tito's grave. Every part of the museum was fascinating, and definitely not something that anyone who is serious about understanding the complex Yugoslavian history should miss.Written May 21, 2024
- Claudia W0 contributionsFantastic trip to the north of BelgradeI had a wonderful day getting to see the beautiful area north of Belgrade. Milica, our guide, was fantastic. She knew so much about the area and its history and presented the information in a very interesting and entertaining way. We managed to get to the monastery before all the big busses came, had a very enjoyable time exploring the little town of Sremski Karlovci, learned a lot about Novi Sads history while overlooking the town from the fortress and had plenty of time to wander the stunning streets of Novi Sad. I can highly recommend this tour and hope you get Milica as your guide as well!Written April 26, 2024
- Y296ZUcarlg0 contributionsA brilliant tour.A brilliant tour. My guide Jelena was very well-informed, articulate and full of interesting stories. Beautiful architecture, too many bookshops to name, and great restaurants - with some of the best hot chocolate you will ever taste. Lots of lovely museums too.Written December 11, 2023

My son and I had an excellent tour with Nebo. He was full of interesting facts and extremely knowledgeable as we were interested in hearing about Belgrade past and present. It was such an enjoyable way of touring the city and we felt we had really seen and learnt a lot. We enjoyed Belgrade so much more this way.

It was our first time to visit Serbia & Belgrade and we were joined by two others as Nebo gave us a tour of the city.
I had a cursory understanding of Balkan history, but Nebo gave us a dive into the complexities of the Slavic region delivered with thought, pride and humour.
He showed us areas we could explore after the tour and gave recommendations.
Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an intro to Belgrade.

We took our walking tour with Dragana, she was very nice, speak excellent English, and she was very knowledgeable about all you want to ask and know about Serbia. We also got very lucky because of the bad weather so it was only the two of us and our great guide Dragana. She also gave us restaurant recommendations and made a stop so we can take a break to take a nice cup of coffee at Kafeterija. We learned so much about Serbia and we definitely recommend this tour when visiting Serbia!!!

The 3-hour small group walking tour I went on was fantastic. Nebojsa was a very engaging guide who made my short stay in Belgrade memorable. We deviated somewhat from the itinerary because of group interests, which made the tour seem more custom. He didn't overload us with names and dates, which in any case I would have forgotten in a couple of days.
I had been worried as the operator stated that the maximum number of participants on this "small group" tour is 45, which in no way I consider a small group. (Had it been anywhere near that, I would have walked away and demanded my money back). As it was, the three of us got along great as a group and had wonderful interactions with our guide. Did I mention Nebojsa was a fantastic guide? Highly recommended and don't be put off by the insane maximum group size.

A fabulous tour - highly recommend. Our guide was so helpful and informative and told us many interesting facts about the buildings and scenes we saw and their links to Serbian history as well as providing recommendations for things to do following on from the tour. He was able to tailor the proposal to the individuals in the group which was fantastic.

This was a great walking tour. The guide was working on a PhD in sociology and was extremely knowledgeable about Serbian history, both recent and past. He discussed the importance of the Orthodox church, talked about many small seemingly insignificant monuments. I learned a lot

My visit to Belgrade was made more fantastic thanks to the walking tour with Marko. The tour was fantastic, it took us to many historical spots and explained in detail Serbia's long and complex history. Marko was a great host, he was able to answer our questions along the way and point us in the right direction for things we might want to see after the tour.
In every city I visit I go on a walking tour. This was one of the best.
He did recommend rakia though and drinking that was a mistake....

I've taken walking tours all over the world and the Belgrade tour given by Jelena was amongst the very best I've ever had. Everyone in the group immediately felt comfortable with her warm personality. She would explain some things for awhile and then we would walk to the next location. She was great at answering any question. It was really a very good time and I learned lots about Belgrade and Serbia.

I had a terrific guided tour by Jelena. Jelena does not stop talking, to the fortune of her guests, because she knows a lot about Beograd. The tour was interesting and enlightening, and Jelena also made some good jokes. I will recommend the tour to any visitor.

We had a great time and Jeneca was very knowledgeable about Serbias history. There were only 3 of us, which was great. Unfortunately we had great difficulty finding the meeting point. We were instructed to look out for the Blue Bus signs, which we thought would be on possibly a bus stop, however these were actually painted on the road. Perhaps this could be mentioned in the directions as we felt this would have made things easier. Jeneca, was great she contacted me on what’s app and gave me a live feed for her location and we did make it for the tour but without her help we would have missed it. Other than having difficulty finding the meeting point, everything was great.

Hi, we are 4-5 senior Swedish gentlemen in the age Group around 65 who will visit Belgrad over the next 3 days. We are interested in arranging a private tour of key points of interest with a guide during 2-2,5 hours between 10 and 13 hours on Wednesday the 15th of May. We are all well educated and have a general interest in economic, political and historic aspects of our society. We will be staying at Hotel Moskva in central Belgrad.
Could you help us to arrange such a guided tour? The cost is not a major issue for the right arrangement but we would expect to pay some 50-75 Euros for such a tour
Kind regards
Hans Lundgren

Hi sorry I rarely visit this website so I guess I'm too late. You take the free one it's short 2-3 hours. The paid one may cover more areas but if you are on budget all you need is good map, may be smartphone with downloaded Google map, day or 3 day busplus card & that's it!
