          Definitely recommend!
Our local guide, Isadora, was the best, interspersing first and second hand stories, coupled with personal research. I learned quite a bit and was overall very happy with the whole trip!

          Great Excursion Out of Belgrade
Timely pickup, great minivan, people from all over on board. Nice mix of historical and cultural aspects. Guide Alexander was knowledgeable, organized and ready to answer most any question about Serbia. Excellent way to experience the country outside of Belgrade.

          Great Walking Tour
Small group walking tour, with our guide Marko. Marko took us to many of the significant sites in Belgrade. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and really made the tour enjoyable. Would recommend this tour for those who want to see several sites, but only have a half a day.

          My Tour of Belgrade
Drazen was an amazing tour guide—a wealth of knowledge about Yugoslavian (and world) history. I am an American high school teacher and I was thinking about how my students would have benefitted from this tour! Excellent!!!

          Fascinating tour understanding Serbia
We were a group of 4 people doing the tour with Marco as our guide. Throughout the tour Marco has demonstrated exceptional knowledge about the history of Yugoslavia and the Balkan area. The general experience was great, Marco knew how to explain difficult and complex topics and was able to make them easier to understand and digest. We asked many questions about life in Serbia and his personal views and insights, Marco answered them with patience and knowledge and helped us understand more about the complicated reality in the Balkan today and in the past. We highly recommend this tour to anyone that would love to understand more about this fascinating area. Thank you Marco, good luck with your next groups!

Personal Insights Into the Real History of Yugoslavia
My husband and I booked this tour, expecting to learn about the Communist era in the former Yugoslavia and the legacy of Josip Broz Tito...and while we did learn a lot about those topics, we walked away with a priceless experience, so much more. This tour allowed us to gain a much greater understanding of Serbian history, it's culture and the passion and strength of its people. We discussed many topics over the course of this tour, including the transition of the republic to the socialist government as we walked around key locations in the Belgrade City Center. By approaching these discussions with an open mind, we walked away with a much greater understanding of the complex history and current political structure of the Balkan countries. Nebojsa was a fantastic tour guide who went out of his way to engage every individual on the tour, and to talk with each of us about our own individual questions. He was gracious, professional and polite to every person on the tour, and I felt we had a much greater understanding of the amazing Serbian experience, history and culture after our morning with him. While our conversation with Nebojsa and his companion guide were the highlights of the tour, I do have to make a special call-out of our trip to the Museum of Yugoslavia that ended the tour. This was such a special experience: the Museum was a little bit further out, and not a place where we would probably have gone on our own; but our guides took us on a trolley ride to the site, and then walked us through the entire facility, including Tito's grave. Every part of the museum was fascinating, and definitely not something that anyone who is serious about understanding the complex Yugoslavian history should miss.

          Fantastic tour.
My visit to Belgrade was made more fantastic thanks to the walking tour with Marko. The tour was fantastic, it took us to many historical spots and explained in detail Serbia's long and complex history. Marko was a great host, he was able to answer our questions along the way and point us in the right direction for things we might want to see after the tour. In every city I visit I go on a walking tour. This was one of the best. He did recommend rakia though and drinking that was a mistake....

          Rich History
Tour guide Marco made history come alive - the many battles for control of this important river Nexus, the empires and leaders that shaped Serbia's history, and the story in statues and architecture. Serbia has a rich and stormy past, that would have been hard to grasp without such a tour.

It’s a great way to see the city and different areas of Belgrade. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and also shared how Serbians pronounce names and also the similarities of Serbian female names. Definitely worth your time and was more than happy to leave a Tip

It is very interesting, that you can actually find some architectural pearls in a former communist country. Teodora, the tourist guide, showed a lot of knowledge and guiding skills and she speaks perfect English. Recommended!

I had emailed to book a place on the walk and turned up at the appointed time, in the right location. 15 minutes after we were due to start I called the office to see what was happening. I was told that they would give the Guide a call and they'd text me back, which they did, saying that he would not be coming as he had an upset stomach.

While sympathetic to the Guide, he should have called the office to tell them that he would not be at work, as they knew that at least one person, ie, me, would be there to go on the tour. Very unprofessional.

I had previously been in touch, to enquire about the Red Communist tour. The price quoted was €80. I have done a number of such tours, often with just me and the Guide, in a number of former Communist countries and never have I paid more than €35. They offered to reduce the cost to €50 but this was still too much, so I declined.

By accident, I came across a Guide from Belgrade Walking Tours, who was doing a Communist Yugoslavia tour, including transport to the Museum of Yugoslavia and access to the Museum. The cost, €10. He was excellent and knowledgeable and is highly recommended.

        Unlike Belgrade Free Walking Tours.
