- eduardmS64NG00Perfect one-day tourWe had a great tour. Our guide, Andrija, was very kind and professional and we learned a lot about Serbian history and also about life and developments in modern Serbia. The monasteries on Fruska gora are notable for their history and architecture, revered Ortodox relics and thombs of some Serbian aristocrates from the past. Sremski Karlovci is worth to see as it keeps an ensemble of Barroque architecrure from the Austrian times - we saw a movie being shut downtown right when we visited it. The giant Pertrovaradinska fortress is now turned into a park and it offers a magnificent view on the Danube valley. Novi sad, which is the last stop of the trip, is a large city with a vibrant centre with a great arity of cafees and restaurants, a couple of walking zones and a number of cites to see and visit as the oldest Serbian theatre and cathedrals belonging to all of the confessions , which meet here. The tour lasts for about 7 hours including ~1h to travel back to Belgrade. Thisis enough to see different places and learn a lot about the country, but yet not too tiring for 1 day trip. Highly recommended to take it if you stay in Serbia for more than juat 1 weekend and it is a great choice for the fall and winter season.
- SF-darcy00Highlight of our Eastern Europe Trip! What a terrific tour! We booked a tour to go to a non-tourist town about an hour out of Belgrade where our father was born. Our guide, Andrew, was knowledgeable, and had gone out of his way to research the area and all that was of interest to see. We took away so much from this tour - he covered all the basics and so much more! We went at our own pace and kept an interesting and informative conversation going throughout the tour. At the end we managed to even see highlights of Belgrade. We cannot recommend Andrew and Serbian Private tours enough.
- martar83700GREAT EXPERIENCE. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDABLE.The experience with Serbian Private Torus has been great, perfect, totally recommendable. We were interested in a day trip to Timisoara from Belgrade and not finding it within the offered tours so we contacted directly with Serbian Private Tours through their website and Miljan attended us quickly and wonderfully, adapting one of their excursions to make the trip possible. Absolutely everything went perfectly. Both the pre-trip information and the clarification of doubts. Our guide, Andrija, was great. Punctual and attentive, he gave us very interesting information about the history and life in Serbia and about the places we were passing through, both on the way there and on the way back. He also gave us a lot of information about Romania and Timisoara and even about other Balkan countries. It was a very enriching experience. Serbian Private Tours is a serious and close company, absolutely recommendable.
- mathewb80200Great experienceThis fascinating tour was one of the most interesting experiences I’ve had on any trip. My guide was outstanding and offered the perspective of Serbians living in the region at the time. I’d recommend this tour to history enthusiasts and those who wish to broaden their perspectives on international relations, and the consequences/effects of war.
- I6724IFkelseys00Great way to spend half a dayAndrije, our guide, was very friendly and informative! We had a great tour, our favourite part being the museum of Yugoslavia. He even showed us a place to get knedle, which was v tasty.
- KEColorado100What a Great TourWhat a great tour! Professional, informative and fun. Everything was organized from the beginning. The company reached out to me a couple of days before to confirm details and on the tour day, I was picked up from my hotel on time and in a comfortable car. This was the perfect introduction to Belgrade. Andrija showed the highlights of the city. He knew so much about the history of the area. He was able to adapt the itinerary and show the places I was interested in. I love that it was a customizable tour. Throughout the tour there were great recommendations on more places to explore on my own or just sit and relax. I would definitely do this tour again.
- Dana M00Don’t Have Miljan as Your Guide!I hired this company for 2 days. The first day, I had the misfortune to have Miljan as my tour guide. He is so unpleasant! Was late to pick us up, photographed me when I wasn’t looking after I specifically instructed him not to do so, took us to some house for lunch, where the food was served cold, etc. although his explanations were fine (we could have read them on the Internet), the trip with him was unpleasant for me. The next day we had Andrija as the guide, and he was great. If you must hire this company, make sure your guide is other than Miljan.
- MoFaeMel00An Alternative ViewIt was very informative and interesting to hear Miljan's comments, the innocent recipients of bombing always have a different perspective from the politicians and media who initiate or facilitate these actions, and it was good to here a cogent alternative to the news we are sold back in Australia.
- Philip M00A “ must do “ trip whilst in BelgradeTour guide Miljan was extremely friendly and typified the overall experience we had from all locals . This is a “ must do “ trip whilst visiting Belgrade and gives an honest interpretation of the locals experiences during the NATO bombings.
- Alex C00Spreading a dangerous nationalist agendaWhile it's always good to hear other world views and perspectives on geopoliticals and world events, this tour was unfortunately littered with false truths and "facts" that were simply incorrect. The tour guide was great personally, and the tour itself was interesting. We were quite well aware of the events that led up to the NATO bombing, so could easily identify when we were being fed false information, however giving false truths about events is dangerous and not what would be expected when on a tour.
- Z8757LOaleksandrad00Andrija and Serbian Private Tours are a way to see SerbiaGreat company! Our tour guide Andrija was very knowledgeable and a great relatable guy. We did this tour and a tour to Topola and Oplenac. Couldn’t recommend Serbian Private Tours more! Well done guys and see you next t year!
- Y2553NWjonathans00Excellent tourI thoroughly enjoyed my Scars of NATO Bombing in Belgrade your with Andrija. He was a knowledgeable guide and it was good to learn so much about the topic and see so much of the city at the same time.
- Q9014NKcharlesc00Best Ever Privte Tour of BelgradeOur host driver was very prompt and courteous. He was very considerate of our needs when we asked for modifications to the normal agenda. At every place, he made sure to inform its significance and made sure to ask if we had any questions before continuing on. We certainly recommend Belgrade Private City Tour to others. - Phillip B00Excellent Trip and Value! The guide was wonderful and had a detailed knowledge of the unesco site. Very pleasant to work with and was able to provide an in depth understanding of not only the site but also the history of Serbia. Would recommend this trip highly!
- Z9225TZandrewa00FlawlessI highly recommend Serbian Private tours. Miljan the owner was very helpfull and made the booking process very easy. We also requested to be picked up from our hotel in Ruma and Miljan organized everything for us. Dejan the guide was excellent on both tours. His knowledge about Serbian history is excellent and very easy to understand. We enjoyed every minute of both tours and would highly recommend. Looking forward to book again with Serbian Private tours in the future.

We had a really interesting day trip to Topola, Oplanac and the Aleksandrovic vineyard.Dobri was a great guide who could give detailed information about all the places we visited. He also took photos which he then emailed as a good reminder of the day. If we had longer in Belgrade then we would definitely arrange more with him. Lunch in the mountains was also very memorable and lovely Serbian cuisine.

Our family spend an excellent full day with Vladislav, who's very knowledgeable and refreshingly honest in his story telling about the turbulent times of Serbia.
Should be noted he was punctual, a good driver and very polite.
For the sights itself not that much to see, but interesting to learn the past history of the country. Besides the wealth of information provided you get a real sense of the country spending full day driving thru a rural areas. The lunch provided was in a great authentic small village restaurant, excellent food! Last but not least we also enjoyed the wine tasting at the nearby winery.
All in all can only recommend Serbian Private Tours and in specific Vladislav.
