About the operator
- Dana M00Don’t Have Miljan as Your Guide!I hired this company for 2 days. The first day, I had the misfortune to have Miljan as my tour guide. He is so unpleasant! Was late to pick us up, photographed me when I wasn’t looking after I specifically instructed him not to do so, took us to some house for lunch, where the food was served cold, etc. although his explanations were fine (we could have read them on the Internet), the trip with him was unpleasant for me. The next day we had Andrija as the guide, and he was great. If you must hire this company, make sure your guide is other than Miljan.
- MoFaeMel00An Alternative ViewIt was very informative and interesting to hear Miljan's comments, the innocent recipients of bombing always have a different perspective from the politicians and media who initiate or facilitate these actions, and it was good to here a cogent alternative to the news we are sold back in Australia.
- Philip M00A “ must do “ trip whilst in BelgradeTour guide Miljan was extremely friendly and typified the overall experience we had from all locals . This is a “ must do “ trip whilst visiting Belgrade and gives an honest interpretation of the locals experiences during the NATO bombings.
- Alex C00Spreading a dangerous nationalist agendaWhile it's always good to hear other world views and perspectives on geopoliticals and world events, this tour was unfortunately littered with false truths and "facts" that were simply incorrect. The tour guide was great personally, and the tour itself was interesting. We were quite well aware of the events that led up to the NATO bombing, so could easily identify when we were being fed false information, however giving false truths about events is dangerous and not what would be expected when on a tour.
- Y2553NWjonathans00Excellent tourI thoroughly enjoyed my Scars of NATO Bombing in Belgrade your with Andrija. He was a knowledgeable guide and it was good to learn so much about the topic and see so much of the city at the same time.
- Q9014NKcharlesc00Best Ever Privte Tour of BelgradeOur host driver was very prompt and courteous. He was very considerate of our needs when we asked for modifications to the normal agenda. At every place, he made sure to inform its significance and made sure to ask if we had any questions before continuing on. We certainly recommend Belgrade Private City Tour to others. Charles and Nancy Carter Palm Springs, California
- Phillip B00Excellent Trip and Value! The guide was wonderful and had a detailed knowledge of the unesco site. Very pleasant to work with and was able to provide an in depth understanding of not only the site but also the history of Serbia. Would recommend this trip highly!
- Z9225TZandrewa00FlawlessI highly recommend Serbian Private tours. Miljan the owner was very helpfull and made the booking process very easy. We also requested to be picked up from our hotel in Ruma and Miljan organized everything for us. Dejan the guide was excellent on both tours. His knowledge about Serbian history is excellent and very easy to understand. We enjoyed every minute of both tours and would highly recommend. Looking forward to book again with Serbian Private tours in the future.
- H1643FNdianaz00The best!Great tour and friendly tour guide, we saw the places that must be seen in Belgrade (and heard interesting fact of the history), also got a lot of recommendations where to go next days. Very convinient transport, not too much to go by foot (we were with kids). Recommend for sure!
- marenas201500GreatLovely tour, great guide Andrija! Thank you for your knowledge, support and tour organization! We will repeat this as soon as we can!
- samsS4747RA00Best way to experience SerbiaThis was just one of four days we spent with Serbian Private Tours. This tour and the 3 others gave us access to places and insight that we could not duplicate on our own. Also the private dinning location for Lunch were special and you do not find these on your own. We decided one day to do something not planned and they were more then able to accommodate us with great results. Our guide gave us 110% everyday and the hospitality was genuine.
- Fearless5245434697800Lovely experienceWe chose Serbian Private Tours for a little team building trip. Monasteries of Fruška gora, Sremski Karlovci and a lunch in a winery. What can I say? We got everything we paid for plus a lot more of the things you can not pay with the money. It was a day to remember, with a friendly guide, Miljan, who explained to us everything of our interest. The owner of the winery, Dragan, makes the divine Bermet sweet wine, something you absolutely must try. Good food, good wine, interesting monuments, guide with experience and lot of fun, that is the summary of our trip.
- Traveler60363800An immersive experienceMiljan started our day with a personal walking tour of Novi Sad highlights, including the downtown and the fortress. We then visited a monastery at Fruska Gorda before visiting a lovely small winery where we enjoyed local dishes for lunch, prepared by the owner's family. Visiting with the family, as well as with other guests at the winery, was a special experience. The wines were excellent, but the experience of being with the family in a small village setting was the highlight. We truly appreciate Miljan's sharing these intimate experiences of Serbian history and local life with us.
- R598BCginam00Exquisite experience! We absolutely loved this! The views and wineries were beautiful with amazing wines!Highly recommend!
- RogerRicart00The best way to know SerbiaWe did enjoy very much our time touring with Serbian Private Tour. Our guide Andrija Vatović showed us not only the most beautiful monuments and views but also many aspects of Serbian history, culture and lifestyle. Wholeheartly recommendable.

We booked 3 consecutive day tours with Andrija from Serbia Private Tours. Each day was excellent, really surpassing our expectations of what we might find. Lepenski Vir is a world class site of supreme importance in human history. And Viminacium and Felix Romuliana were equally fascinating, brought to life by Andrija. He provided great hospitality and interesting conversation on the long drives regarding Serbia past and present. Highly recommended!

From placing the booking for our day trip the communication with the team at Serbian Private Tours was quick and easy. I really appreciated Tamara checking whether we arrived in Belgrade safely and confirming arrangements - after 21 hours travelling from Melbourne to Belgrade it was one less thing I felt like doing.
Our guide Vlada Jovic was great and he answered all our questions and provided excellent information not only on the places we visited but fascinating insights on the way of life in Serbia generally - very pleasant conversation during the car journeys. I must mention the boatman who took us out on the Danube too, very knowledgeable, hospitable, friendly and passionate about the Danube and that part of the country.
Very much appreciated the highway coffee stop on the way back to Belgrade too!
Would definitely recommend and engage with SPT again when I return to Serbia.

we made this trip end of September 2017 from Belgrad with 3 people. The trip was perfect in all aspects.
Most important: we got an idea of many beautiful places in serbia, so the itinerary is highly recommended.
We had an excellent driver and guide, Vladislav Jovic. His english was excellent and he was very flexible according to our need for many stops, especially to take excellent photos.
Organization was top, he met us at the hotel exact at the arranged time and at the end of our day trip there was no hurry to finish.
So if you look for a perfect day in Serbia: Do this tour !!!

From the moment we booked this tour direct with Serbian Private Tours via their website, to the follow up email after the tour enclosing the photographs Miljan had taken of us, we experienced a level of service second to none. I am a natural worrier and I emailed with a number of questions in advance and Miljan answered fully and speedily and put my mind at rest. You can tell the difference between a small family owned and run organisation (Miljan's wife sent the confirmation ) and larger ones: Miljan genuinely cares that you have the best experience possible and we did have an amazing day. The mix of attractions was well thought out - an impressive fortress, a most unusual archaeological site, the iron gate gorge and well worth doing the optional boat trip and finally a delicious buffet in an outdoor venue with the most wonderful views. I would recommend Miljan without hesitation.

I tend to be a rather "hands-on" travelers, which means I normally don't take private tours, but since we were a group of 4 people, I figured this might be a good option and boy, did we make a good choice! Absolutely loved everything about the tour: the wonderful service and conversation of Miljan, the comfort of the vehicle, the gorgeous sites, the delicious place we stopped by for lunch.. and the unexpected surprises like professional photography and souvenirs at the end of the tour for no additional costs! This tour is also a very time efficient way to see a lot of Serbia from Belgrade, so I highly recommend it!

Wonderful day trip with a very knowledgeable guide. The views were incredible, and the lunch was one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant that felt like you were eating in the garden of Eden, We asked our guide every question we could think of on a variety of subjects and he answered them all. An absolute must do in Serbia.

We went for a day trip during our summer holidays in July and the day started with a lot of rain & wind. Dragi (our guide) was fast to explore the options how to make our trip work but at the end we decided to stay with the initial itinerary and we did well! Dragi was knowledgeable and happy to answer any of our questions even when they were not related to Lepenski Vir & Roman period of Serbian history. The weather got better during the day so we went on a boat trip to Tabula Traiana (might need to be booked in advance) and the view of the beautiful gorge from the river on a sunny afternoon was fantastic. All in all we had a great trip, we felt that Miljan & his team took good care of us from the start till the end and we will be thinking of our next excursion with them next time we are in Serbia.

Our guide was the owner Miljan for a 2 1/2 day trip of eastern Serbia that included the Iron Gate, Lepenski Vir, Monastery with wine tasting, home cooked lunch, Roman Ruin Felix Romana, and overnight in Nis. While all the sites were interesting it was our time with Miljan (and others he introduced us to) which made the trip so memorable. If he got tired of answering my questions he didn't show it for when I stopped asking he was always ready with more information about his country and culture. If we lived closer to each other he'd definitely be in our circle of friends as we shared many perspectives about life and business. Highly recommend the company for an insight into Serbia whether you have a day or a week.

With only a couple of days in Serbia, and wanting to experience its culture and beauty, I highly recommend taking the Private Day Tour to Iron Gate Gorge and Lepenski Vir and Golubac Fortress. I cannot believe how much culture, history, and scenery that we were able to take in during this less than ten hour tour. Our guide, Vlada, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His personable nature quickly felt like we were with family taking us around and showing us our homeland. You can see pictures, but standing on the banks of the Danube looking at the divide between Serbia and Romania from a 14th century fortress that has been fought over for centuries, is an experience I will never forget. Visiting an archeological site from 9500 BC made our time in history seem very short. The opportunity to have a traditional Serbian lunch at the home of a warm and friendly local family is incredible. The food was delicious and plentiful (and accommodated our vegetarian diet). But most of all, I want to thank Vlada and Serbian Private Tours for providing this once in a lifetime journey.
