        Wonderful tour of beautiful Constanța
Alin is a wonderful guide! He led us through beautiful Constanța, while teaching about it's rich history from its humble beginning as a Greek fishing village to its current state as a hub of global trade. He was exceptionally courteous and considerate of our needs, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible during the tour, and after. He is passionate about sharing Romanian culture with the world, and genuinely kind and thoughtful. Thank you, Alin!

Amazing day trip to Salt Mine, Winery, and Vlads Tomb
Alin was amazing. Communicated ahead of time, picked us up in lobby of hotel, and was a wonderful tour guide and driver. Made the drive go by quickly telling us about history of Romania and answering any questions we had. My mother was using a walker and he was assisting her at every opportunity. Salt Mine was awe inspiring, lunch was amazing with Bear meat, and Vlads tomb was serene. I can’t recommend Alin enough!

        Great Day Trip to Constanta!
I had a wonderful day trip to Constanța, and it exceeded my expectations! The city’s rich history and seaside charm made for a perfect getaway. Highlights included visiting the iconic Constanța Casino, exploring the Roman mosaics, and strolling along the vibrant harbor. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating stories about the city's ancient roots and modern culture. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing just the right balance of guided tours and free time to relax by the Black Sea. If you’re looking for a mix of history, culture, and scenic views, I highly recommend a trip to Constanta!

        Amazing day out!
What an amazing place! Could not believe how vast the mine was. Reading about how it was created was fascinating. We went by train, with just one change and it was a super easy journey from Bucharest. It’s a nice day trip. Well worth the visit. Allow several hours for the trip. Take into account that you have to catch the shuttle transfer from the ticket office to the mine and back. We only queued for about 5 minutes each way. There are activities to do inside as well as the Planetarium (not included in the ticket). We stopped off at the hotel by the train station and had a late lunch there as well.

Absolutely awesome guided tour of incredible places.
This experience was perfect from start to finish. Our guide, Octavian, communicated with us before the trip to confirm pickup location & time and this was greatly appreciated. Octavian was extremely knowledgeable about Romanian history which he shared with photos throughout the drive. We arrived at the Salt Mine ahead of the crowds and Octavian guided us through the entire entry process and accompanied us into the mine. The mine was incredibly beautiful and we were provided with as much time as we needed to take it all in! Following this part of the tour Octavian drove us to Casa Seciu where we enjoyed a delicious winery lunch and views. Our final stop was at Snagov Monastery. This beautiful structure was definitely worth seeing. And, of course, we loved hearing the historical information about Vlad the Impaler that Octavian shared. An awesome day with an awesome guide!

        Excellent tour
I booked a private tour. My guide was Victor Zamphir. The guide is very polite and easy to talk to. Very well travelled. Very knowledgeable. Excellent story teller. Provided a lot of historical data while answering my questions. The tour involves a lot of driving, but you get to see a lot of nice houses and nature. The tour involves a lot of walking. Wear the appropriate shoes and clothes. The monastery is not some medieval shining cathedral, but it is very unique and interesting. The fortress is located in an astounding location. The views are breathtaking. We climbed to the top of a watch tower - the views are even better. We went through the fortress, into a church. We walked in the old city. The atmosphere is calm, yet full of life, but not overwhelming like in large tourist cities. I will remember this tour and my conversations with the tour guide forever.

        Amazing
Amazing trip from start to finish. Our guide was Alin, who immediately made us welcome and was really friendly. He had a really good knowledge of the history of each area we passed through. We had plenty of options to stop for breaks or coffee etc, nothing was too much trouble. First stop was a fortress which was amazing and then on upwards to the mountain. The views from the top of the Mountain down the Transfagarasan highway were stunning and we were given ample time to wander about taking pictures and sampling the local snacks on offer at Lacul Balea. Stopped at a lovely waterfall, and onto Vidraru Dam, which had spectacular scenery. Alin let us take our time, no rush and nice and relaxed walk from one side to the other. We saw 7 different bears by the roadside, one with a cub, and we were able to get some lovely pictures whilst not disturbing the bears. The last stop was a beautiful monastery. We enjoyed every minute of our day. We had a great rapport with Alin and throughout the trip we shared many jokes and laughter. Would highly recommend this trip especially if you get a guide as good as Alin. Kay and Stewart from Scotland.

What a fantastic day! It’s a long drive but Victor contacted us the day before and arrived exactly on time. He was great fun and extremely knowledgable about the history of everywhere we visited. All the stops are incredible and worth the long journey. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Such an amazing day out in Transylvania - well worth it if spending a few days in Bucharest! Thanks again Victor for a wonderful experience! 👏🏾🙌🏽

We were promptly picked up at our hotel in Bucharest. Away from the big city, we discovered breathtaking mountain vistas, especially with autumn foliage in spectacular bloom. Octavian, our driver and guide for this private tour, was excellent in all ways, making this a very special day for us. The history of these lands is fascinating and Octavian ably answered all our questions. The crowds at the castle in Bran, often referred to as Dracula's Castle, were huge, (school holiday, perfect weather), but our guide made sure we got the best views and saw all the important things. We enjoyed passing through the small towns and the city of Brasov. Beautiful Peles Castle is not open every day in the cooler months so check ahead depending on the time of year you are visiting. If you are traveling to Romania, do not miss this part of the country and hope that you get Octavian to guide you through it.

A very fun day tour to do! We opted for the private tour so that we were more flexible in determining the daily schedule during the day. We had a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide (thank you Petre!) and he took us everywhere all day and also told us many stories about Romania and the sights we visited. We personally thought Peles Castle was the highlight, a beautiful castle from the outside but absolutely stunning on the inside, you will be amazed by the sights. Petre helped us buy the tickets at the castle and also during the whole day. Afterwards, Bran Castle was less impressive and very touristy, but it is a must see. Brasov is a beautiful place to visit and walk around. Our guide Petre had provided us with a good lunch and came up with the idea of doing another Palinka tasting, which we did not refuse, so we had the tasting as an extra stop between Bran and Brasov. Very fun and delicious :-) In short: highly recommended to do this tour! Especially with a guide like Petre.

This was a great experience and our guide, Octavian, was very knowledgeable and kind. He made every effort to make the trip comfortable and accommodating. Peles castle was well worth the drive from Bucharest. I would recommend choosing a week day rather than the weekend to avoid a long queue on the drive back to Bucharest (we went on a Sunday and Octavian explained that is a very busy travel day for people returning to Bucharest from the mountains for the weekend).

Vlad was amazing! Great opportunity to see more of the country without having to rent a car and navigate on your own.

I booked the trip very last minute (late in the evening the day before) and I was able to get a confirmation and message from the guide in less than an hour. Guide Vlad was very knowledgeable about all the locations and even spots on the road and shared stories of Romania which helped make the drive go faster. Vlad was a great driver, but roads are long and windy, so recommend something for motion sickness if that normally bothers you. But plenty of opportunities to get snacks and stop for restroom, so overall very comfortable.

We were in Bucharest for a short holiday, our tour was guided by a great professional, Mrs. Ionela, she made our excursions interesting and pleasant, thanks to her we appreciated the many beauties of Romania and its incredible stories , legends, cultures and much more, his preparation in his work is excellent, with a visit to Bran Castle, Peles Castle, visit to the city of Bucharest, he provided all the explanations regarding the multiple excursions. We therefore recommend trying these excursions with this guide. Michele Torino

We had a good full day private tour with Radu, our guide who is knowledgeable about the Carpathian Mountains and the Bucharest region. Radu drove smoothly and shared his Wi-Fi hotspot with us in the car so we didn’t have to use our limited international data. We visited the Peles Castle which was beautiful inside. We also visited the Bran castle on the outside. Being a holiday there was a long line to get into the Bran Castle and apparently there is little to see inside of it. The highlight of the day was the visit to Brasov, an interesting town in the Carpathian Mountains. Radu took us to a unique restaurant which was mostly underground in a former wine cellar. The food was very good, especially the orange duck. We had some time on our own to look around and take photos in Brasov and my wife did some shopping there. I’m pleased that we took the opportunity to get outside of Bucharest to see some of the Romanian countryside.

Our guide was Alain, he got in touch with us the preceding evening advising us on what to expect during the travel.
Next day we were picked up at 8:30 sharp, with our first destination being the Peles castle. Unfortunately it was a Tuesday and was closed but on the positive side it was less crowded and we got lot of time to roam around and take many pictures. The cafe close by does make nice mulled wine, ideal for cold weather..

We then headed to Dracula’s castle, which may be in the checklist of most first time visitors. The restaurant close by was a bit expensive but sumptuous..

The stories around the castle were very nice too, although the tunnel trip could be be avoided.

We ended the trip at the medieval town of Brasov.

We would highly recommend the trip and our guide Alain. He tried his best to make it as interesting as possible, was very patient with the kids and helped us in all possible ways, including after the trip advises on places to visit and eat. My wife and daughter suffer from motion sickness but he drove well and they didn’t have any issues.

This was a long but awesome day. We saw so much and we would never have been able to accomplish it without our guide Ionela. She kept us on pace so that we were able to see all that we wanted and this was despite the traffic and crowds of the weekend. Peles castle is beautiful and the area is breathtaking as well as interesting. The tour was a good mix of guided and free time. Ionela was very accommodating to our needs and presented interesting facts about both Peles and Bran castle. Would recommend to anyone wanting to cover as much as possible with limited time and with a home base in Bucharest.

A beautiful day trip from Bucharest to Brasov visiting Peles and Dracula's castle.
Our guide Ionela was a fountain of knowledge! She picked us up on time and regaled us with myths and legends of Vlad the Impaler and Dracula off course.
She did not rush at any sites and gave us plenty of time to spend at the sights.

Highly recommend this company and Ionela!

This was my first proper time in Romania and never knew I could do in a day a road trip to all three top tourist sites - Peles Castle, Dracula's Castle and Brasov, but luckily found this option for a day tour instead of staying in Bucharest out of no other options, as planned initially.
My guide was Ionela, she was punctual, respectful and professional - managed great the tour schedule while respecting my own preferences and pace. She was also friendly and caring and shared a lot of interesting facts about the history and cultures of the places we visited.
It takes time to move around, but the road to there is pleasant and picturesque and with the company of Ionela it didn't feel long or tiring, but rather enjoyable and comfortable.
Great experience, will definitely go back to Romania to explore ore.
      Highly recommended.
