        Amazing trip!
The trip was amazing! Our tour guide and driver was very nice and informative too. The bear sanctuary was amazing and as was draculas castle. Although the fortress is actually closed to the public and will be indefinitely, so you can only look at it from the outside, which it should have told you this before you book and go. Nonetheless would recommend!

        Incredible
What an incredible day. We were fortunate there were no others in our party as it made the experience more memorable. Bogdan was a fantastic guide. Felt like a friend taking us around. Highly recommended!

        Three castles in one day!
Seeing all three castles was a great day's adventure. What made it extra special was Bogdan. He was fun, personable and informative.

bogdan was our tour guide.was a pleasure to be guided by him.his english was very fluent and intresting listening to.two advantages going with a guide like bogdan: 1. the bran and pelesh casle are very crowded with tourists.bogdan knows the times where it is less crowded or make a magic spellto get in both without waiting in queue for too long. this saves a lot of precious time giving the option to focus on what really important to see. 2. he explained us the important points to know making the visit optimal and to the point.

        Just enjoy
We had a great day with our guide Bogdan. He is friendly and knows a lot about the places visited and Romanian history in general. We liked the castle and the sanctuary. Rasnov is closed and so not much to see there. Anyway; thanks a lot!

We decided very spontanously for the trip and did not regret it. Bogdan is a friendly and patient guide. He knows a lot about the area and Romania in general, we can highly recommend him. Thanks to him and the Bran castle and the sanctuary we had a lovely day. I wouldn't say that Rasnov is worth going to.

        Must-do tour from Brasov
A must-do tour if you're staying in Brasov. The bear sanctuary was amazing, with a very emotional history - we ended up adopting a bear. This was a great process, with the sanctuary giving us a framed photo of our bear on the "adoption certificate" to take away with us. Adrian was a fantastic tour guide, making sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the day. He waited for us to adopt our bear after the bear sanctuary, and gave a great recommendation for lunch outside Bran Castle. Bran Castle itself had lots of things that were oriented towards kids, so would be a great day out for families too. He even bought us dessert. There's a lot of flexibility throughout the day, such as walking down Rasnov mountain or getting the cable cars down. Highly recommend.

        România experience
We had both Adrian and Bogan as our guide s, both extremely knowledgeable, provided lots of information and also pleasant company. Accommodation was fine. We were perhaps a little rushed at Bran castle and it was very busy as holiday weekend. Could probably drop off Rasnov fortress as you don’t really see much and add more time in Brasov. Overall we had a good trip

Great option for private tour of Romania, tailored to your preferences
I'm not sure which tour I did, but went to Brasov, Bran castle, peles castle, bierten, sibiu, corvin castle, sghisoara, viscri and one other place that has slipped my mind and it was excellent. Really enjoyed the fortified churches and castles and learning about the history tha many this familiar. Bogdan was excellent at sharing his knowledge and country. I went in mid March. I suspect had I gone a few weeks later, the trees might have had leaves. But I also think there might be more tourists. So I think it was a good time yo go.

        Great time in Transylvania
Bodgan is a great guide. He is super knowledgeable and very friendly. I’ve been to many castles and palaces around the world and Peles is now in my top 5. I wouldn’t hesitate to do the tour!

        Amazing tour!
The bear sanctuary, Bran castle, and Rasnov tour was fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us beak ground to everything we visited and a full guided tour of Bran Castle. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the local area.

        Into Transylvania
Our tour with Bogdan was the beginning of our trip and what a great start it was. He took us to several wonderful places in Transylvania. We particularly enjoyed how he shared the history and culture of the area, getting into areas the big tours do not visit as well as some of his own life story . Bogdan is a very pleasant guide with a great sense of humor. It eas like traveling with a good frien.

Amazing tour, with great driver and guide
The experience was amazing. We had a private tour with Adrian (driver and guide). Started with the bear sanctuary (with an English guide from the sanctuary), then headed to Bran castle (there, Adrian was our guide) and at the end the Rasnov fortress. The fortress is under renovation, but it is still worth going there. We got great recommendations from Adrian on what to do and where to eat in Brasov. I strongly recommend it.

This was the best 7 day holiday, me and my husband ever experienced. Bogdan is the best professional, knowledgeable tour guide you can get, with extra fun facts and surprises. From the very beginning you can see and feel his love and passion for Romania. It penetrates straight to your heart, with the very well planned itinerary, to get you to see as many wonderful and best places as possible, which was explained to us everyday the day before, which also can be tailor made at your own pace. Yes, this tour includes quite a lot of travelling (i had to take travelling pills as i suffer from motion sickness ), but it was very relaxing with all the breath taking postcard scenery. We felt we had VIP treatment, felt extremely safe, both being in a foreign country and with his excellent driving. Bogdan checked everything was perfect, in every room we lodged, that we had enough food and drink, local liqueur and wine , privacy and smoking area. The local hosts are super, it was like saying goodbye to your mum every time. Transylvania discovery tours 's slogan is 'come as a guest and leave as a friend', i must say that's definitely the absolute truth!! Thank you once again Bogdan , definitely will see you again next year with all our family.

My tour guide,Bogdan, is very professional . He is most knowledgeable about the country, the sites and their history. I felt very comfortable with him as conversation was easy and he is also a very safe driver. The pick up and drop off were well timed.
I enjoyed everything about the tour . I feel for many , including myself, that Romania is an undiscovered jewel. The accommodation was fine - I particularly enjoyed staying in the Pensione in Sebiel- but for a person on their own, I felt the hotels in Braşov and Bucharest were a bit far from the centre.

This was a lovely trip through Transylvania during a time of year that there aren't many tourists and the scenery is especially beautiful. Our guides Dan, who was with us the first four days, and Adriana, who was with us the last two, were excellent guides and great companions. We especially loved staying at the pension in Sibiu and having the home cooked meals. My only suggestion for the trip is the Hotel Castle Dracula is far out of the way and there's nothing to see there but the hotel itself. The hotel is not that interesting, is a bit rundown, and very kitschy. We would have rather stayed in another medieval town at another pension than driving an hour and a half just to stay at the hotel. Other than that we loved visiting all the castles and fortifications and learning about the history of Romania! We definitely recommend this trip.

We were so lucky to have Bogdan as our guide. Everything was arranged so well. Our accommodation was outstanding and the food was so good especially as Bogdan could help us order certain dishes. We got to see the most amazing churches and countryside. Bogdan started as our guide and ended up as our friend. Go to Romania and go with Bogdan!

It was ideal for our vacation for two! An unforgettable trip through beautiful Transylvania. The tour guide (Mimi) was simply fantastic, she has so much knowledge of the country and its history and always has something interesting to say about every sight. The accommodations were very individually chosen, especially the first two days in the small privately run accommodation with the super friendly host Adriana. We felt like we were at her house. On both days we were able to enjoy authentic Romanian fresh food and delicious local wines. On such a long trip there can of course be a problem (small problem with the car), but the team from "Transylvania Discovery Tours" handled the situation professionally and always made us feel safe. After a short break and safety checks with the mechanic on the car, our journey was able to continue after 15-20 minutes. We felt very comfortable with the guide because she always asked if everything was OK, e.g. if the air conditioning was set correctly, if the time spent at the sights was the right length in order to set priorities for the sights. The car was very comfortable and you could take photos from the car, especially in the mountains (Transfagarasan road). All of the hotels were very well chosen (we booked our tour around 5 months in advance), so we recommend booking the tour as early as possible so that "Transylvania Discovery Tours" has enough time to book the nicer/better hotels for you. Conclusion: we were simply thrilled and if you want to find out more about the country of Romania, people, culture, traditions and history, we recommend this tour. Next time we are in Romania, we will book with Transylvania Discovery Tours again! Many thanks to Mimi and we hope you have fun 😊
