This operator was a no show for my arrival. They did not communicate before my arrival or answer their phone. Viator was also unable to contact them by phone on three occasions at my request. No other transport service holding up signs claimed to be familiar with them, nor did the answer their phone when I could not find them. My flight was on time, my bag was one the first to come out in the baggage claim. Due to Viator similar failure to contact them, I received a full refund. Go Thor was a TOTAL failure for me. Fortunately, a taxi was not too expensive,

They never showed up. We waited 45 min and called several times with no answer. I definitely recommend the train.

My husband and I wanted to do a private tour so our hotel got us the cheapest deal possible which was EUR 180 for full day tour of 2 castles and Brasov. We enjoyed our day at our liesure. Must visit if you have a spare day in Bucharest. Both Peles and Bran castle were nice experience. Brasov town tour and Christmas market was amazing too. You have to pay entrance ticket to both the castles 30 & 40 RON.

Company was very professional and went out of their way to make sure our needs were addressed when another concierge service failed to make proper reservations. Guide was extremely knowledgable to sites around Brasov and Bran castle, and provided incredible insight to local eateries of high quality. Greatly enjoyed experience.

What can I say? Besides bEAUTIFUL! What a great experience! First off, I booked it the night before, I was going to do a group tour but we were going bar hopping and the group tours were all Very early. For a couple Bucks more I was able To pick my time. It was nice to be able to sleep in and start the tour at whatever time I wanted. Our tour guide arrived early and we didn’t have to wait for him. Good first impression. He had water and snacks for us in a very nice clean newer car. It was a long drive which we knew it would be. We slept and snored a little 😂 Our first stop was Pele Castle! It was wonderful! He came in with us and gave us a private tour so we were able to ask whatever and not have to deal with the big crowds. We then went to Dracula’s Castle and the Fortress. The fortress was an awesome Hike and awesome View! We then went to eat in the town of Brazov. The food was delish! We then stopped for pastries and coffee. Honestly thought for like $20.00 you get to do whatever you want, see what you want, run on your time, beat the crowds. It was totally worth it! Mauris our tour guide was funny, nice, spoke very good English and we would highly recommend and do another tour with him anyday!

As a local, I was very skeptical at first to book this tour with my friends. However, I am so glad I did it and chose Go Thor company to accompany us. Aurel, the guide, picked us up from home and he was very flexible with the hour. The van was new and very comfortable. From the beginning and until the end of the tour, the guide behaved impeccably professional. He knew exactly when to intervene in the conversation with an explanation or simply a joke, but also when to let us talk and give us space. The information provide by us were very interesting even for me, a local who has seen the objectives before. We felt very well taken care of. The objectives themselves (Peles Castle, Bran Castle, Brasov) are spectacular and we covered them fully. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality tour and a special day. in the future we will definitely look to book more tours with Go Thor Company.

Marius Press with Go Thor was professional and personable. He was on time and got us to our river cruise early. The vehicle was well maintained.

One of the best days of our entire two week Eastern European adventure was this all day tour, which ended up lasting 15 hours. The guide spoke perfect English, was knowledgeable, and took us to Castle Peles, Dracula's castle, and a couple of charming towns. He was attentive and made sure we all saw what we wanted to. Don't miss this. It's so much better than large group tours and very reasonable.

This was a great way to see the Transylvanian countryside if you have limited time.The drive itself is long but our driver, Aurel Vaduva, was very knowledgeable regarding Romanian history, which helped pass the time. If you're hard of hearing like me, then try to sit in the first or second row of seats, We went to Bran Castle, Pele Castle, and the lovely town of Brasov, and though the summer crowds were out in force, we were able to move through each sight fairly easily.

Our driver was very nice and gave us many advices for our stay in the country. The car was also perfect, big enough for our 4 big luggages, clean and comfortable. My friends and I would definitely recommend!

Excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Fabulous trip. Visited 2 castles saw another city had excellent lunch and travelled back on country roads so saw beautiful scenery and interesting things along the way. Highly recommend Go Thor travel

Aurel was an amazing tour guide. He shared so many interesting and historical details about Romania and was respectful and polite the entire trip. From exploring the castles, touring Brasov and Sibiu, taking us to see where our grandmother was born, and driving through the Carpathian Mountains, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip or guide. As a private group, we were able to skip the long line at Pele’s Castle and could just enjoy each other’s company. We are looking forward to returning soon and exploring the Delta Danube. We will most definitely request Aurel again.

I booked a transfer to get from Bucharest Airport to Tulcea as I had a tight transfer (changed flight) before a tour I was taking with my daughter. As my flight landed at 2 am I had visions of a sleepy driver and a stressful journey but it was the absolute opposite. As it happened I had two drivers (one in training), much information about Romania en route, and a bit of a sleep. It couldn't have been better. Thank you GoTHOR!

This was a great way to see Transylvania. The tour company picked us up at our hotel in a new Mercedes Benz van with water and pretzels. Our guide Aurel (Aurelius), spoke wonderful English, was incredibly friendly, and was an excellent ambassador for his home country of Romania. He even helped us gain priority access to Peles Castle too! This private tour was a wonderful addition to our trip to Romania and it ended up being our favorite part!
