There is a considerable portion of hiking on a sunny forest road, which is very inclined and full of revolving stones. Private cars and cars for turists also get there often leaving behind dust and emissions. Nice portion in the wood till the forest road, sunny portion till the top from the Ciucas resort

Dear visitor, Thank you for visiting Romania and Ciucas Mountains. It really depends with whom and when you visited Ciucas Mountains because there are a few hiking trails to reach Ciucas Hut or Ciucas Peak. Definitely you did not book a tour with RomaniaTourStore otherwise it could have been a different and nicer experience.
