Alex was our guide and he was wonderful! Very thorough and great at explaining the history of Bucharest. I would highly recommend this tour with Alex!

We had a lovely tour. Andrei was our guide and was really knowledgeable and engaging. We had a lot of historical information from the Romans to present day. The tour was longer than expected - about 3 hours so wear flat shoes! Not too much walking but a lot of standing. It really helped us to understand the history and geography the city.

Alex was great, very personable, super informative and knowledgeable. A lovely walking tour, I had been to Bucharest before but learnt so much more this time so great for 1st time or repeat visits to the city. Would definitely recommend.

Lucia was very communicative and engaging during the tour. The tour itself, as it claims, concentrates on the highlights of the city. It was a good mixture of history, politics, and architecture. In spite of the extreme cold time just flew by. The tour included valuable suggestions and recommendations from Lucia, which helped me enjoy the rest of the day in Bucharest. Absolutely recommended!

Lucia was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable being a native and spoke clear English. She provided history, personal stories and a wide variety of information that made the tour interesting and fun. She answered all our questions throughout. We had a wonderful time and were sad for it to end. After the tour she provided additional information and helpful resources. We were delighted with our experience.

TBH we never attended the tour, we had a late night the night before and the weather wasn’t favourable with heavy snow. I only comment as the operator made every attempt to get in touch with us to ensure our attendance 👍🏻

Fantastic and informative tour. Lucia was brilliant and very knowledgeable. It was very cold and snowy but it didn’t really matter as the tour was so interesting! (And Lucia made every effort to ensure we were staying covered!) She followed it up with lots of helpful recommendations and suggestions for our remaining trip in Bucharest.

I have been at many places around the world, and my expectations to see Bucharest weren't really high. But Lucia, our tour guide, brought its history, culture, customs, and Rumanian emotions about the past, present, and future alive. Lucia speaks perfectly English, she studied political sciences, and was born and raised in Bucharest. We walked for 2 hrs and 45 min through the city which felt more like talking to a friend rather than a classical tour. I recommend the tour highly. And maybe you are lucky and get Lucia as your guide.

He was a very knowledgeable guide who took us on some lovely passageways to see the highlights of the city. A great eclectic mix of architecture and facts seen/gathered along the way.

A great walking tour that I would highly recommend. Our guide Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly, giving geographical, economic and political context during the walk. He answered all of our questions as we visited many of the historical sights of Bucharest.

This tour was absolutely top drawer. Our only disappointment is that we didn't do it earlier. Our guide/ history, Lucia (Damenica) was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, good fun and completely professional throughout. The tour itself was just as rewarding and full of the right mix of historic facts and advice on local attractions, etc. Thank you Lucia, the tour and you were both fantastic.
