About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- I2378BTerinb0 contributionsExcellent!Really enjoyed this tour! Had a bit of a wait to get into the first castle, which can’t really be avoided on a weekend, so wrap up warm if going in winter. Just the right amount of time at each stop. We arrived late the night before so didn’t manage to bring any drinks / snacks but there were plenty of opportunities to grab a drink & food along the way. I’d recommend bringing a travel pillow / entertainment as there is quite a bit of drive time. Thanks again!Written February 3, 2025
- _T6876CW0 contributionsTourAmazing tour, Otilia was so kind, helpful and fun. Free Time to Brasov needed to be a little bit more. The queue at the peles castle was so big.Written January 26, 2025
- B7413MGconnorp0 contributionsLovely from outside, crammed outsideMe and my brother went on a tour guide through. The castle for outside is amazing, especially in the snow. Inside was alright I suppose. Too busy, too crammed. I'd recommend going for the view outside and everything. But it's just too busy.Written January 17, 2025
- tbrenk990 contributionsVery informative!Very informative trip with a great guide to give us all the information we could need whilst on the long bus journey between castles. Great day!Written January 14, 2025
- Holly D0 contributionsAmazing day out!!I was super skeptical about this trip at first as I was worried it would be a super rushed day. However, everything exceeded my expectations. It is a long day, but so worth it. Peles castle is amazing and the scenery surrounding bran castle is breathtaking taking. Vlad our tour guide is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on Romania. I loved listening to his presentations and I feel like I’ve learnt so much. The tour itself was really well organised and we got the perfect amount of time in each place. I would highly recommend!Written January 11, 2025
- jbarrie210 contributionsAmazing guide. Comfy coach. Strong recommend.Alex was excellent. He made the tour super enjoyable and was so knowledgeable. The coach was comfy with plenty of leg room and the driver was excellent at trying to avoid traffic and save us time! Great day trip. Started at 7:15 and got back at 20:30. Would definitely recommend bringing your own lunch as the timings for be able to buy stuff can vary and could mean not eating for a long time. As a minimum bring some snacks to eat whenever not on the coach (no eating on the coach!).Written January 4, 2025
- lorevan930 contributionsVery bad experience, the worst of my lifeOutrageous experience, never seen such bad places. Peles Castle is completely under renovation, with no mention anywhere. Almost 15 hours by bus due to traffic, very badly organized with buses all arriving at the usual time and congested entrances. Not even time to eat a sandwich. Dracula's castle is all fake, containing stuff from modern times and sheetrock on the walls. Brasov is the only thing worthwhile for the Christmas markets alone. Bad experience, bad organization. - NorthStar299971779570 contributions"Transylvanian Treasures: A Day Trip Worth Taking!"A day trip to Peles Castle, Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle), and Brașov is absolutely worth it! You’ll see stunning architecture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes all in one go. While it’s a long day, the experience of exploring these iconic Transylvanian sites makes it a great pick.Written December 19, 2024
- catarinacL532QN0 contributionsAmazing tour!Adrian and Bogdan are really good at their job since the tour was super fun and worth it and despite the traffic we always made it in time and safely. Besides that he always made sure that everyone was on the bus not leaving anyone behindWritten December 18, 2024
- judithcQ262PP0 contributionsBetter than expected!I ended up solo on thus tour as my friend was unwell. It was amazing and our guide Vlad was very helpful with recommendations and getting us first in line for the entrances. Peles Castle is under some refurbishment outside but gorgeous inside. There were plenty of bathroom breaks although some spots had a wait due to the crowds. I suggest eating and shopoing in Brasov and not getting tempted by the street food outside Bran Castle. It's a long day but it gets you out of the city and it's an opportunity to meet other like minded travellers. It was great learning about the history and culture as there's so much more to this tour than the Hollywood version of Dracula.Written December 14, 2024
- Bangerboy20040 contributionsExcellent day to Draculas Castle!Excellent day! Peter the tour guide was excellent!! Full of information and great fun. Coach driver was great. The castles were a sight not to be missed!Written December 12, 2024
- soulmate21080 contributionsWell worth itEasy location of coach, friendly guide, Bran Castle, Peles Castle and Brasov all great, plenty of time at all stops. Great trip , highly recommend.Written December 9, 2024
- D9425OO_0 contributionsVery Good ExperienceIt was a really good and value for money experience. In the price was included the transportation and the guidance. If you visit it on busy days there's a chance you might wait a pretty long time in the line, despite the fact that you have a priority, since other groups might be visiting as well. Our guide provided a full tour in Pele's Castle and a brief historical overview about Bran's Castle, as the corridors were too narrow for the whole group to fit. However, during the whole journey the guide was very informative about the historical backgrounds of the places we were passing by and the places we were about to visit, and even cracking a joke every now and then making the whole tour more entertaining! The schedule was kinda tight, thus leaving little free time to explore the villages after visiting the castles. My only real suggestion would be better organising, since especially in the morning it can be very difficult and stressful to locate the bus for someone who is not local. I think that if something like a phone number of the guide, or a what's up group would greatly help with this, as I saw other people having the same thoughts.Written December 8, 2024
- TomMechler0 contributionsTransylvania is beautifulGreat opportunity to get out of the city and see the mountains and castles. For guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Be aware that the castle entrance fees are extraWritten December 6, 2024
