This was a very interesting experience, we left the workshop with a smile and little token of our own making. We spent a little bit of time understanding the history of the Roma people and their lives in Romania before and after the country became a country. We had plenty opportunities to ask questions and prompt our guide to talk more about a subject or define it in more detail. I think this little tour was informative for us, but would probably be very interesting to native Romanians or Roma people themselves too! The jewel workshop was fun - it's a small and relaxed area full of tools. We got shown the steps we need to take to make the jewellery that we chose for ourselves, during the techniques we got the necessary guidance but also were left alone to work on our things in peace. Very nice experience.

From being picked up at the airport to our return there, we were looked after by our Guide MIhai - helping with luggage,to keeping us informed of the sights and what to see. We enjoyed the Christmas Markets in Bucharest, Sidu and Brasov The hotels were comfortable and right in the centre so we could wander around in the evenings. The roads were "interesting" and Mihai drove safely to get us where we needed to be. We liked the visit to the Romany Blacksmith and Jeweller. If you want a great trip to see Romania at Christmas time,to see the sights and have a relaxing time I highly recommend Mihai and his company

This was an excellent tour, with our guide Mihai, without his knowledge of the history beautiful locations we would not have enjoyed it so much He chose really lovely hotels for us at each of the locations we stayed and the vehicle he used was lovely and comfortable We cannot recommend him highly enough. If you want to your Romania, choose Mihai

My wife and I booked a private tour in Transylvania with Mihai for 3 days, which took us to Peles and Bran Castles, Brasov, Viscri, Sighisoara, Sibiu, returning to Bucharest via the scenic Transfagarasan highway and Curtea de Arges. Making the travel arrangements with Mihai was very smooth and the price was reasonable compared to another offer. During the trip he was an excellent tour guide. He spoke good English, drove very carefully, and was knowledgeable about the places we visited. We had lots of interesting conversations about Romania in the car. I would heartily recommend him.

Mihai is an excellent tour guide! We have traveled the world but never have we felt so comfortable and relaxed. He took us to as many sites as he could at our request during our six day excursion. His driving was impeccable and his knowledge of the sites we visited was excellent! Thank you Mihai for such a wonderful and memorable trip!

We just returned from a modified version of the 14 Day Grand Tour of Romania trip offered by I travel in Romania. What a great experience from beginning to end! Mihai was very responsive in all his communications with us prior to our arrival. As I said, we modified his 14 Day Grand Tour to fit within our time frame and areas of interest. Mihai was more than happy to accommodate us in any way that he could. He took our preferences into consideration and created a fabulous tour for us. Our tour began with his colleague Andreea being our guided as Mihai had a previous commitment. Andreea greeted us at the airport with smiles and hugs and escorted us for the first 3 days of our trip. Andreea was a delight and was always more than happy to accommodate us in any way and to answer any questions that we had. As a matter of fact, after we arrived home, Andreea sent us a Whatsapp message to follow up on a conversation that we had days before. Mihai, stopped by while we where still in Bucharest to make sure that all was well and to ensure that we were enjoying our stay. Mihai took over our tour on day 4. He too was just great. His English is very understandable; his driving never once made us concerned – even on the hairpin curves of the Carpathian mountain range. Again, he always ensured that our questions were answered, that we were seeing the things that we wanted to see, that we had plenty of time to be at a particular venue or to move on if we were ready to do so. His kindness not only extended to us but also to our host in rural Romania. It was her birthday while we were visiting so Mihai planned a birthday party for her. What a fun time that was. He arranged to have traditional singers and dancers come to entertain (one being our hosts granddaughter) as well as bought her a birthday cake. The palinka was flowing and we gave her flowers and sang “Happy Birthday” which the Romanians in the group loved. After much hugs and kisses, we had to leave our host and then leave Romania. I cannot recommend enough a tour with Mihai and I Travel In Romania. Romania is a fascinating country that mixes modern, communism, rural and medieval all in one area. Mihai helped us understand Romania and all that it has to offer. We just returned from an 11 day private tour in Romania with Mihai. My husband and I traveled with my sister and her husband, and we had a truly wonderful time. Mihai is an absolutely wonderful guide! He is professional, knowledgeable, warm and friendly. His English is great. As we were planning the trip, Mihai was in frequent contact with us making sure he tailored our visit to our specific interests. When we had questions or changes, he responded to our emails immediately. During the trip, Mihai took the utmost care of us. He was unavailable the first couple of days of our trip, so he arranged for his colleague, Andreea, to help us. She was an absolute delight as well! She was a huge help at the airport when my luggage was lost, and she was a joyful and informative guide! Mihai met us in Brasov and took it from there. He drove us from Brasov up to the Maramures in the north, and all the way back to Bucharest again, stopping along the way to visit many beautiful and interesting sites and cities. He was our driver, translator and guide. The restaurants he suggested along the way were all fabulous, and I know we came back a little heavier than when we arrived! I would definitely recommend traveling to Romania. The country is beautiful and the people are warm and welcoming. It is an affordable country with amazing traditions you can still experience, especially in the rural areas. And I most certainly would recommend Mihai and his company. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. When it was time to go, we felt like we were leaving a friend! He led us on an adventure we will always remember, and we are very grateful!

Mihai is an nice, honest and reliable certified guide. He provided clear, helpful advices and quotations for our 10 days trip around Romania. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his country, he introduced us in details to the rich history, diverse culture and places of the country with a sociable, positive and proactive attitude. A fantastic tour with 4 friends, and Mihai was our best guide! The route was well planned. During the 3-day trip, we went to Peles Castle, Brasov, the fortified church and Bran Castle. We also visited a Roma village and had tasty Romanian cuisine. Mihai is professional and knowledgeable. A very enjoyable trip and definitely recommend to everyone!

Mihai is personable, knowledgeable and an outstanding guide. We planned a private tour of Transylvania with Mihai’s assistance. He asked questions to insure that we did and saw what interests us, not a cookie cutter trip. We had booked a three week journey with him that unfortunately was cancelled due to Covid. Fortunately we were able connect with him post Covid. Transylvania is a great destination. If you are planning a trip there we highly recommend connecting with him. As an aside, he is an excellent and very safe driver.

An absolutely fantastic tour with friends, with Mihai as the guide! The itinerary was well thought out, hotels were charming, and Mihai was the best: knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We saw all the highlights: Peles Castle, Brasov Old Town, Viscri Saxon village and the fortified church, Sighisoara Citadel, and of course, Bran Castle. We also had a delicious lunch of Romanian cuisine cooked by a local lady. Definitely recommend this to everyone!

What a great experience. We saw the majestic nature of Romania, visited the lovely town of Brasov and the Peles castle (you should definitely go to this one). We then went to Viscri and the fortified church (if you are not scared of heights, do go up to the roof and enjoy the spectacular views). The dracula castle is nested in the trees, and is really spectacular (although the inside is a bit underwhelming - esp if compared to Peles!). We had some great time, and Mihai, our guide was the greatest. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible when needed, to adjust the trip to our needs.

4 friends and I booked a 3-day tour with Mihai and had a WONDERFUL time. The route was carefully planned out but not rigid, he is an exceptionally good driver, and a pleasure to be around. The tour highlights were Peles Castle (stunning!!!), a day in an authentic Roma village, and Bran castle. This trip was the highlight of my trip to Romania and Mihai’s knowledge of the are made our visit informative as well as fun. Would 100% book work Mihai again.

Really enjoyed this trip. Mihai looked after us really well, and he has superb knowledge of the history of the region. Accommodation in the traditional hotels was really comfortable. Plan to do the more northern leg next time!
