This was a excellent trip which i would fully recommend if you are visiting Bucharest. The guide was knowledgeable and informative and the transport punctual and comfortable. we initially booked a spanish speaking trip as this was the only one advertised on the day we could attend but the company spotted this and contacted to advise that an english tour could be available which was really helpful. Sagnov Monastery was beautiful and the surrounding lake views idyllic. This destination is meant to be Vlad the Impalers final resting place.. who knows if this is true and i am not sure it really matters! The Palace was again an unexpected pleasure to visit.
it is important to remember you will need to pay entrance fees to both places in addition to the trip costs but these are very small.. you will need some cash!
My only observation would be that more time was needed at the Monastery as there seemed more to explore and a cafe to have a drink in whilst taking in the autumn scenery. thank you for the trip.

The guide had a broad knowledge and the driver drove very safely (on other tours with Mr. Tripp, the guide also has to drive, which in my opinion is not ideal). Unfortunately, we were not given much time to spend at the two places, but the trip was worth it anyway. It was also nice that our group was rather small (4 people).

It was interesting to see the Monastery and the location of at least part of Vlad the Impaler's body. The story of the man who is the source of so much history of Romania and the "legend" of Dracula. The Mogosoaia Palace is also very beautiful and has good deal of information to share about those people who owned and lived there,

If you're exhausted from long days but still want to explore the history of Romania, this tour is a perfect half-day! I went on this tour after an exhausting (but wonderful!) 15 hour day trip to Bulgaria. The later departure time allows sleeping in a little bit yet you're done early enough to beat the heat of the day. If you're still not convinced, seeing Vlad the Impaler's grave is a must for any trip to Romania!
Our guide was very knowledgeable about both locations visited and the history behind them. An air conditioned car was provided but bring snacks if you want to get food because there will not be a stop. The tour is only ~4 hours though so if you don't bring food it is not terrible.
These locations are definitely worth visiting and tell some amazing stories. However, they are not super large so a half-day tour is perfect to explore them!

Great tour with very knowledgeable and professional guide Daniel. Snagov monastery is quite unique in terms of ambience, location, decor and religious dedication. Both visits showcase a Romanian beauty and history. So glad we chose this tour.

It surprised me how beautiful Snagov Monastery is. It's out of the way in the country which certainly adds to it's charm. By contrast, Mogosaia Palace was pretty on the outside but rather dull inside. All the same, it makes for quite a good tour. Many thanks to our tour guide, Daniel, for making the tour so enjoyable for us.

Our tour guide was wonderful and shared so much history of the Palace and the Monastery. When visiting the island, the monk was delivering mass as we admired the beautifully painted church. This is a great half-day trip to see some classic Bucharest sites.

Our tour guide Mary was informative and friendly and the Snagov monastery was a little gem. The palace is beautiful externally but internally a little dull. Driver was v flexible and dropped us off at The Village Museum for the afternoon. Would recommend!

Rodica Canciu was an excellent tour guide and provided lots of factual information as well as personal perceptions. we only regretted that we did not have more time with her.
She partnered with our driver Michael to provide carefree a wonderful trip to the Monastery and Palace and navigation of Bucharest

Thanks Rodica and Michael!
