I didn’t feel it offered much about the count , maybe more of the torture and that’s an extra paid ticket so don’t miss to pay

Good tour of Transylvania Dracula and Peleş castle
We too the smaller van 8 person. We were very happy with our guide he was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. It was a long day but he made it go well. We were able to go faster than the big bus tours. He was also able to give us clues what to see first. Brasov was a very interesting little town we also had a great lunch that was the guide’s suggestion.

          Lot of castles and views
The trip was really good organised. Stop in Braşov a lil bit too short . The guide was very focused about not being too late! We didn’t really have time to eat 😅

          Bad communication/service
We were a group of friends who were sure that we had booked a tour in a smaller group, and that we were to be picked up by a van at 7.30 am. When the van didn't come, we tried to get in touch with One Excellence Tours. The phone turned out to be unmanned, even after the office opened at 9 am. They ONLY answered emails! We eventually received an email saying that we had booked places on a bus with room for 48 people. It is, in our opinion, not a small group. We advise others who book a trip with this company to check with drivers on absolutely ALL BUSES at the meeting point whether this may be the bus you have booked. The bus is not marked with the company's name, and you cannot expect any kind of service, either from the customer office or the bus driver/guide.

🏰🧛‍♂️ Unveiling the Mysteries of Dracula's Castle with My Family 🧛‍♂️🏰
Recently, my family embarked on an unforgettable adventure to explore the legendary Dracula's Castle in Transylvania. Nestled amidst the breathtaking Carpathian Mountains, this historic fortress is shrouded in myths, legends, and tales of the supernatural. Here's a glimpse into our eerie yet exhilarating experience: 🌙 Atmosphere: From the moment we set foot within the castle's ancient walls, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of intrigue and mystery. The looming towers, winding staircases, and dimly lit corridors cast an aura of Gothic enchantment that transported us back in time to the age of medieval folklore. 🦇 Legends of Dracula: As we traversed the castle's labyrinthine halls, our guide regaled us with tales of Vlad the Impaler, the infamous ruler whose bloodthirsty exploits inspired the myth of Dracula. From secret passageways to hidden chambers, every corner seemed to hold echoes of the castle's dark and tumultuous past. 🕯️ Spine-Chilling Discoveries: Our journey led us through eerie dungeons, ancient torture chambers, and macabre crypts where the shadows seemed to dance with unseen spirits. The flickering candlelight and chilling whispers of the wind lent an air of authenticity to the castle's haunting legacy. 🧛‍♂️ Encounters with the Count: As night fell, we gathered in the grand hall for a captivating performance by actors portraying the enigmatic Count Dracula himself. Their spellbinding portrayal brought the legendary vampire to life, evoking both fear and fascination in equal measure. 🍷 A Taste of Transylvania: After our adventure, we savored a feast fit for royalty, indulging in traditional Transylvanian cuisine and fine wines amidst the castle's medieval splendor. It was the perfect end to a day filled with adventure, mystery, and spine-tingling excitement. Our visit to Dracula's Castle was truly an unforgettable experience that brought history, legend, and imagination together in a mesmerizing tapestry of storytelling and exploration. As we bid farewell to this iconic landmark, we carried with us memories that would linger in our minds forever, ensuring that the spirit of Dracula's Castle would haunt our dreams for years to come. Good option for transport to the tourist attractions
Considering the price of this tour, I wouldn’t mark it down. With the cost of entry to Peles & Bran castles, it is still good value. The tour of Peles castle was interesting but short due to the amount of the castle open to visitors. Brasov is a lunch stop in a nice town. Bran castle is a tourist trap with very little substance and a lot of poorly delivered nonsense. Our guide Sergiu was very friendly and looked after everyone on the tour.

          Day ruined!
If the tour’s guide name is Victor, please cancel your booking and book with another company. Absolutely awful! Old person with no charisma, close to being rude in a few occasions (we were advised not to go to toilet to not waste time - he kept rushing everyone everywhere; at the end came with an envelope asking everyone to give a tip to the driver because “he was so nice” - he did not even greet any person on the coach - and stood there waiting for us to put our hands in the pockets and hand him money). Victor’s English is not fluent so while speaking he was pausing between every single word, making it difficult to understand what he was saying, whether if he had finished the sentence already or not. People went to sleep or put earphones on. Wish I never booked with this company, we noticed that other coaches had really great, professional guides - we met at the castles with them - they were fun, clear and engaging. Compared to our rude, annoying and extremely boring one. Awful experience!

Peles castle for real, Dracula castle for joke
Amazing Transylvania region highlight was Peles castle. The Dracula castle is all marketing ploy, author of the fictional Dracula was never been in the castle or in the area but since the visit to. Ran castle was part of our tour, my husband decided to see the castle - of course I already told him that fabrication about Dracula. Braşov visit should be nice but it was raining so did not see the town.

          I totally recommend it!
It was an amazing experience and the views were amazing but the weather was a little bit cold and it was raining, so be prepared and take a warm jacket with you if you go around this time. Our tour guide Serban Riga was the best and made the 12 hours journey a lot better with his knowledge during our trip and his humorous mood. Of course this trip wouldn't happen if we didn't have our amazing driver Narcis!!

Ask for Serbia if you want the best tour guide
Full packed day. Pele castle was amazing. Draculas castle was worth seeing but not what I expected Serbia was our guide who was very helpful the day before confirming on WhatsApp the pick-up location and some really helpful tips for the day. He’s the most energetic knowledgeable and hilarious guide I’ve ever met. He made the 12 hours fly by and constantly told us facts and stories about things around us. Also he made his love for the car company “Dacia- the best car in the world- made in Romania” was like a repeated advert on the radio every time he saw one I’d recommend this trip and would certainly ask for Serbia as he made the day much more interesting and informative

          Great Experience & Fantastic Guide
Very enjoyable trip to visit Pelles Castle, Bran (Dracula) Castle and Brasov. The day started well with us punctually setting off from Bucharest at 7:30am which is a must as the morning traffic heading out of Bucharest past the airport is very heavy with it being plain sailing once out of the city and heading towards Transylvania. The tour guide Serban Riga is very knowledgeable about the local history of the area and gives guided tours of both the castles and a walking tour of Brasov. He has an upbeat and friendly demeanor which made the tour interesting, he also gave commentary on coach about the areas we where passing through which made the long trip and from Burcharest pass easier. The punch stop in Brasov was good and there is a wide variety of options for food. The driver of the coach Narcis was professional and it was smooth going the whole trip. Would recommend this package to anyone looking to go a day trip to visit the castles as my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

        Oct 2021
Our tour was from Oct.17-23 ,2021. Planning a tour during this time was a bit challenging. But, it has always been a dream for us to visit Romania. I am truly grateful to George, who's been with us since that start of this trip from booking up to the commencement. He was with us from the start of planning, taking time to answer all questions that are not clear in the travel updates. He responded quick. The tour guide who was assigned to us was extremely nice too and have a great wealth of knowledge about the things place and things that we have visited. In fact, we have a running joke, during the tour that "I have a second job". Every afternoon that we are done with the day's tour, I posted pictures and descriptions of our day's activities..until we got to a point that my friends are looking forward each day for updates. If I am going to summarize our trip, there is more in Romania than Bran Castle.. I We love them all,,Sibui, Cluj..the wooden church..an all that were listed in the trip. in fact, 1-day if ever we are going to "leave"..our pick is Brasov(Alex-Did I say it right?.. We have been to some countries,,,and after we are done with each trip, we ranked them..As of now, Romania is number 1..Again our sincerest thanks to George and Alex who made this trip seamless and comfortable as possible.... we look foward to seeing you again in the Balkan tour...

My friend and I, both senior citizens, booked this trip with modest hopes and expectations. We are seasoned travelers yet we were totally amazed and in awe of the tour and the TLC provided by a Viator subcontractor named George Panica of Trip2Ro. We traversed over 900 miles over and around the Carpathian mountains, through the four major regions of Romania from Wallachia to Transylvania, Bukovina and Moldova, The Transfagarasan Highway reaches a peak of 6700 feet so we could see breathtaking vistas throughout. We visited the Hungarian enclave in Transylvania where we stopped at a restaurant for Hungarian goulash. The painted monasteries in Bukovina and Moldova are considered comparable to Michelangelo's Sistene Chapel paintings --but the monasteries are painted both inside and out with mysterious paint and unknown painters. It is miraculous that most of the exterior paintings have survived over 600 years. Most tourists are interested in Bran Castle of Dracula fame but we felt Peles Castle is far more compelling for the tech advances employed in heating and plumbing and the showcase of the best craftsmanship from around the world. We got a chance to see an illuminated icon workshop, a workshop where carpets and sweaters were made, and walk through a model museum of a holy man's sleeping quarters where the hay bed and stone pillow both felt like cold cement. As we went through a potato-growing area where sacks of potatoes line the street, ready to be sold, we stopped to see a potato-growing grandma who is raising her grandson. They invited us in for a cup of delicious coffee and a tour of the summer kitchen, barn, and residence. At each stop there was a surprise and delight, well planned and a great memory. One day we stopped at a pottery studio where the artisan sat at a wheel turning clay that is fired at 1400 degrees and results in black pottery. While in Brasov we stopped at a face/body cream store to purchase some of the special wrinkle-remover cream used by the rich and famous. At every juncture our guide George took us to restaurants that held local and/or historical interest--one such was Vlad Dracul's house in Sighisoara. Because one of us had limited mobility George provided door to door service, carried our luggage back and forth to each hotel, and stayed with us to provide translation services at meals and give us tips on best prices for given items. By the end of the trip we were sorry to say goodbye to our new friend and sad to depart magnificent Romania.
