We have three friends group and only a few days to be in Moldovia & Transnistria: so we hired a travel agency for two days – and we were very, very lucky that we chose Hi Moldova! Everything happened just as we talked, the schedule was precise as agreed and our guide, Laurentia, was so brilliant! Lots of good stories and she knew everything about history & places we visited and always had some extra to tell! I have only very positive thoughts – I cannot find any negative things to say… I highly recommend using Hi Moldova’s service when visiting Moldova!

Everything was really good. I can recommend this tour if you like wine and if you would like to see the wine cellar. Remember to bring warm clothes for the tour.

The tour was very wonderful. The guide presented everything well and it was fascinating to learn all about it. It was very convenient that hotel pick up was provided; hospitality was very high-level. My mom and sister who came with me enjoyed it very much too, made for a good family outing.

This was such a great tour. We normally explore places on our own but to go on this tour made sense logistically. We didn't have much time in Moldova and combining Milestii Mici and Transdniestria allowed us to save time and discover more of this fascinating country. The tour was very well organised. Mtvarisa, who picked us up from our accommodation, was super friendly and really ensured that everything went well on the day. Nicolai and Tatiana, the tour guides, were also nice and very informative. Totally highly recommended: loads of fun, good food and wine, interesting history.

The tour was fantastic. I felt very safe even in current times. Our guide, Laurentia, was fantastic: very friendly, explained everything about the history and culture of the region, answered all my questions. In addition, Moldova exceed my expectations. People was so nice and polite, very good food, and the wine… ahhh the wine!!! There are outstanding wines in Moldova, just waiting to be discovered. Please, you need to try!

I'm 6 weeks late in finally writing this review, but it must be said: Wow! What a heartfelt experience this was, with Laurentia Z., my tour guide operating through HiMoldova. For a few separate day-trips that proved unforgettable, I'm glad I made the decision to visit the beautiful, humble country of Moldova when I did, and was able to connect with Laurentia of all people. She's truly a wonderful, motherly woman, who showed me more love than my own family members ever have, ha. She showed me around Chisinau, and surrounding areas, and even managed to help me reconnect with a former Moldovan-Ukrainian girlfriend and her family members. Each conversation was natural and meaningful, and I was treated as a friend, or even a son, rather than a customer. There's so much more to Moldova than a visitor could imagine, and I can't think of a better way to explore the country's historical and natural attractions, than with Laurentia. I now have a newfound appreciation for the special people surviving in this part of the world, from the local Moldovans to the Ukrainian refugees, and they've truly earned my respect. The sights are impressionable, the food and wine spectacular, and I'd be crazy to not recommend taking this trip of a lifetime, to anyone considering going. Show Moldova some love! They deserve it.

The trip includes one of the most important cultural heritage sites in Eastern Europe. It is possible to do this during the weekend from Chisinau. I did an individual tour with a historian and it was absolutely fantastic. It is very much recommended to do this trip. Especially with Nikolai who can tell you a lot, not only about the Moldovan history but also the current situation in the region. The romanian Bukovina is not only fantastic in terms of historical sites but also in terms of landscape and May is a perfect month to travel there.

We had the honour to participate in an individual tour to Transnistria and the KVINT cognac factory. With Nicolai at our side, we had the best guide and driver imaginable. We learned so much about the historical background as well as the geographical features of the country. Spontaneous requests were also responded immediately. Thank you very much for this unforgettable experience!!!

From the moment I was picked up at my hotel by my lovely lady driver until I was dropped off after an excellent and very informative day in Transnistra, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Excellent way to spend the day. Our guide (Veceaslav) was excellent! Great wines (much more than a tasting) and the snacks were also very generous.

Our guide/driver Alex picked us up from the hotel and was extremely friendly and spoke great English. He made sure we got onto the tour at the winery and then took us back to the hotel afterwards. The winery tour was great - very informative and fun, and the wines were great. It was a fabulous way to spend our last day in Moldova. We were able to book only a day ahead, and they had openings on a Sunday. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent trip to Cricova with Hi Moldova! It was really well organized, the driver arrived on time and they were always quick to reply to all of our requests. We also enjoyed the journey to and back from Cricova as the driver Nicolai told us many interesting things about Moldova's culture and history, making our journey even more exciting. Btw, his English was excellent! Cricova was fun, the wine was lovely and it does worth seeing those underground cellars. Overall it was a fun experience, I do recommend it and I will definitely use these guys again on my next trip to Moldova.

A must do. I did the evening tour with tasting. Tour of the expansive underground cellars which included salt displays and visiting the tasting rooms. You ride through the cellars on a motorized trolley which takes you to several of the major cellars. It is basically an entire city with street names underground. If you can, do a tasting tour as they do really formal seating with delicious samples. There is a video at the beginning in their bar/theater which explains the history & process. The tour is done by Crickova staff not your tour guide, and you may select the language. There is a superb gift shop.
