The key to any successful trip lies in choosing the right people to guide you through the new territories. The agency we went with in Moldova and Transnistria was wonderful, they managed to show us the less accessible places. The services were top notch, the minibus that transported us, the local guide, the restaurants chosen, the attention to detail,... I highly recommend the agency.

Nice trip in the wine cellars of Milestii Mici. Unfortunally our guide was very quick and hard to hear/understand.

I recommend to make a reservation with WineTours Moldova as they offer convenient orders of different tours online. We visit Cricova - amazing landmark in Moldova but the tour was of average quality due to boring guide who just recited the text and tried to sell us a bottle of wine. We were slightly disappointed from this guiding style and recommend to Cricova to improve the guiding services.

We have very much enjoyed the tour at Castel Mimi. The Guide spoke perfect English and was very polite and attentive to details. Wine testing went well. We highly recommend it!

The language wasnt very nice while we were organising our event's needs such as city tour and the pickups. You do not talk with an attitude towards your customer:) Service was considered good but one of the guide did not listen to our director's suggestion regarding the walking tour. He told her we would need to speed up to catch up with our guests (second group) but she did not listen to him. Most importantly, I specifically indicated that the two groups have to be in the wine tasting venue at the same time but they couldnt manage.

I searched and searched for some wine tour companies in Moldova & am very happy with this one. I knew the names of a few wineries people suggested and I asked the company to come up with a 2 day tour that covered some of the northern wineries on the first day and southern on the 2nd day. On Day 1 we did 2 wineries and the monastery at Orheiul Vechi which was great & worth it. Cricova and Chateau Vartley were great. where they took us to lunch in a cave was fantastic, Epoca de Piatra. On Day 2 we went south to Mileștii Mici, Asconi Winery, and Castle Mimi. Castle Mimi was pretty, but our least favorite, it felt somewhat 'cold' in personality. The underground tunnels for Cricova and Milestii Mici are enormous and if it is your first time visiting a winery, you will be spoiled b/c I have never encountered that before & likely won't again! The tour guide that was with us, Laurentia, was fantastic & her English was great. Our driver didn't speak English but he was still engaging somehow. They picked us up at our accommodation each morning and she was very knowledgeable about Moldova in general. I highly recommend this tour company to help you arrange your visits to different wineries.

As a group of travelers, we had a good experience with Wine Tours. Veronica promptly answered to our email requests and ensured the smooth running of our trip. We also requested the transportation service for our own planned one week tour. We were daily notified per email about the driver timetable. I would recommend this service for tourists that travel by themselves (without a Romanian speaking person or a local buddy).
