Better to visit another vinery - Go to Vartely or Purcari. We had a visit with a guest from Greece - disappointing attitude of the personnel.

Unfortunately a rip-off. Don’t get me wrong, the place is worth seeing as it is impressive, however the wine and the experience do not justify the incredible rip-off price of 1500 Lei (80 euro) per person. For 35-40 euro, it would have been alright, but 80 euro is stealing. We were all expecting a completely different kind of experience. Yesterday at the mircesti winery, for less than half the price, we had a much better experience. The food was ok, not bad.

I turned up as directed - but there was no guide and no tour. Waited over 30 minutes then gave it up as a bad job! I suspect the tour was cancelled due to lack of bookings, only no-one let me know (and I was still getting reminders from TripAdvisor 2 hours before it was due to start). Meet up point was over 30 minute walk from my hotel so all in all I lost a good hour and a half which I could have spent doing something else. Still waiting to see if the money will be debited from my account... Take note TripAdvisor, operators promoted by you should be validated as authentic and genuine - not time wasters or scams.

Tour didn’t happen. Because they didn’t even contacted me, I came to the meeting pick up. The phone they provided is not working, website is not working, there is no email. Worst experience ever.

Simply amazing, is everything so Moldavian in this place. the guide explaines the story of the winery and caves and how the place became winery. Is also included in Guiness Book on length of the caves. The restaurant with traditional live music and delicious Moldavian food were perfect to wine tasting. in one world a paradise to vine lovers and reflect so so much Moldavian spirit.

Excellent experience to see how to produce and keep in perfect condition so many good wines. It is an attractive point to visit alone or with your family. Nice guide, good explanations and finally a small shop to buy amazing wines.

I loved this tour, however my friend loved it more. We'd really wanted to visit Transnistria and had seen some mixed messages about doing it on your own - you really need to speak Russian or Romanian when you get to the border if you go on your own by bus, so we decided to opt for a tour which also included a winery stop and booked this one through TripAdvisor. In the end, it was just the two of us in a car for the tour. Gheorge, our driver, was outside our hotel as planned and whisked us out of the city to Cricova. We got there before it opened, so had to wait a bit, but it meant we were on the first English language tour - I've written a separate review of Cricova. We were then driven back in to Chisinau and picked up our guide Anna, who was a lot more talkative. We drove to the border as Anna explained the history of Transnistria and answered all of our questions brilliantly. We beat the bus to the border crossing, which was good as it meant that we didn't have to wait - Anna arranged everything and Gheorge kept safe hold of our immigration cards which we needed to exit again. We then headed to Bender Fortress and had a local guide there, also called Anna, who showed us around - again I've reviewed this separately. We then headed into Tiraspol to lunch, which was in a traditional restaurant and had a selection of different dishes (all included in the price). Anna also showed us some Transnistrian money so that we could see what it looked like. We were then driven a bit further into Tiraspol and Anna took us on a walking tour around some of the different sights which was great. We were picked up at the Lenin Statue and then driven back to the border post (much quicker leaving) and then back to our hotel in Chisinau. Overall, Gheorge and Anna were both fantastic. One thing struck me at lunch as one of the other tour groups in the restaurant were using Google translate to communicate with their guide, but Anna's English was fantastic. If you want to visit Transnistria, I'd really recommend this tour as you get to the see the capital, as well as a visit to a really interesting winery.

Our guide Elena made this day absolutely wonderful with her positivity and great knowledge about the country and the attractions! All three locations lived up to our expectations. This excursion is highly recommended!

I planned two nights in Moldova on a whim after a trip to Romania, and it ended up being the highlight of my trip! This charming city has an interesting history, and my tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. I'm so happy that I booked a tour with Best Moldova!

The red and white wine fountains at the entrance are a novel introduction. Vehicles can drive down into the caves and view row upon row of bottles of wine. The wine tasting on our tour was 3 types of wine, red, white, and sweet red. All very good as were the accompanying snacks. The prices in the shop were a steal. A very enjoyable visit.

Fantastic visit to this country, also visited the Memorial Park very interesting. Architecture great.

I took two trips. In both cases i was alone but i was not charged any extra and the Company respected the days what I found very professional. The only issue is the payment. If you pay by credit card, you will be charged in local currency plus a 3% mark up. That means that with another conversion to your currency and the foreign exchange fee of your card, you will be paying additional charges of 10% on top of the promoted prices.

I don't know whether Transnistria will become an independent country, but it's still fun to visit a place like this. It seemed to be lost in time, with a hammer and sickle on the flag. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgable. The driver somewhat less so, but overall the experience was good. Lunch was included and pretty tasty.

I booked this trip in the office direct instead of online and saved myself €27. I shared this trip with 3 others and our guide Nicolai was friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend this trip but for the visit to the Monastery and Church I recommend hiking boots and not trainers.

Very good organised, starting with email information prior to the booked tour, phone calls and with a high level of professionalism. Adapted to us, helped us in different situations such as making possible for us to join a later tour to winery due to our late flight. Very good and helpful guides, drivers.
