Luka was entertaining and hilarious. He added plenty of color to the tour. A good host is what's separates a vacation from a boring history lesson. And Luka was awesome. He even gave us all a nice souvenir to take home to remember Zagreb.

We found Limitless Balkan by chance and we are so happy we booked! We did a 1/2 day tour with Alex in Zagreb. Alex had so much knowledge around the history of the city and of Croatia. He also gave on tips on what else to see, where to eat, and where to get amazing gelato. We had plans to drive around Croatia ourselves and had pre-arranged city tours in Split and Dubrovnik (also through Limitless Balkan). These tours did not disappoint - friendly and very knowledgeable guides who were happy to answer our questions and give us ideas on what else to see in the area. Even though we were touring Croatia on our own, Alex kept in touch and provided tips only a local would know about where to park at certain attractions and additional things we should try to visit if we had time in a particular area. We were fortunate that Alex has contacts in many cities and was able to arrange city tours (somewhat last minute even!) in Korcula, Pula and Rovinj. Everyone we met through Limitless Balkan genuinely wanted us to have an amazing visit, not just to their city or region, but to Croatia. We did a few excursions with Alex while in Zagreb: 1. Plitivice National Park; 2. Jasenovac concentration camp and Cigoc stalk village; 3. Transfer to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Alex is a great guide. He is honest, punctual, reliable, calm, informative, knowledgeable, speaks English perfectly, has a nice comfortable modern car. He is also efficient and very patient. My sister is 78 years old and walks slowly, especially in hilly areas. He planned our visit / route to Plitivice Park superbly. My sister managed to walk with no problem on the route Alex specially planned for us. We also asked him to plan a day tour to the Jasenovac concentration camp and to Cigoc the stalk village. We had a wonderful lunch there in a typical Croatian restaurant. Alex also agreed to add a section of Zagreb we were interested in visiting. He was also willing to drive us to Ljubljana in Slovenia, a 2 hour drive which was very convenient. I also asked him to take us to a gallery in Zagreb on the way and wait for us. We were so relieved that we found Alex as he made our visit so memorable with no problems. He is great. He made the trip so pleasant. We highly recommend him as a guide.

Aleksandar and Limitless Balkan Tours is the one stop shop for everything Croatia---I can't say enough good things about these folks. I started off wanting a private driver/car to get from Zagreb to Split so that we could visit Lake Plitvice (one of the 7 natural wonders of the world). I chose LBT because they were so detailed in their responses, so specific, and so responsive. Then I started making inquiries...could they get us from Split to Dubrovnik...could we stop in Mostar on the way to Dubrovnik and get a tour there...could he recommend a beach club on a private island when we visit Hvar...and on and on and on. Aleksandar did it all. It would have been so much better and so much easier to start with LBT and simply work with them on the entire itinerary at the start---because that's what ended up happening anyway! Now a word about the service. Every driver/car came with a private tour guide for every stop. This white glove 5 star service catered to our every need. We had the basic plan of what we were doing and the cost and then we had massive flexibility to do what we now understood to be the exact right plan because we were in country and seeing and doing. This is why you want a private tour! The cost ended up being just a little more than renting a car plus tips for the guides and drivers---so worth it! We have traveled the world and so we know good guides---executing on delivering super high quality service on the day and then staying 2 steps ahead of you on the next leg of your journey so everything goes smoothly. Thats LBT in a nutshell.

We had a limited amount of time (only 6 days) to discover Croatia. A country with such rich history, culture and amazing outdoors and architecture, which we have not previously visited. We greatly appreciated Limitless Balkans and its owner Aleksandar for making our tour successful and pleasant! Everything was done at the highest level of excellence. Aleksandar scheduled for us a transfer from Zagreb to Split, from Split to Dubrovnik and reserved for us guided tours in Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes National Park and Mostar. All tours were done by very knowledgeable and professional guides and left us with vivid memories and a sense of understanding of all the places we visited. Transfers were done in very comfortable and clean cars, by professional drivers who were punctual and with knowledge of country history and the areas we traveled in, sharing it with us all the way through the transfer. We especially appreciated Aleksandar’s help in helping us navigate a rather stressful situation when we forgot our passports and some jewelry in a hotel safe in Zagreb. In a short time he was able to make arrangements via his friends traveling to Split who delivered everthing to us. Thank you, Alex!! We are highly recommending Limitless Balkans travel agency!

Our day trip to Istria, led by our highly knowledgeable and professional guide Alex, was an unforgettable experience. We booked Limitless Balkan for a 9 day trip for a family of 7 to visit the Dalmatian coast. If you want to make everything right when booking a Croatia trip, book with Alex. Alex was wonderful to work with prior to and during the trip. He truly cares about his clients wishes and spends significant time over video chat to craft a tailored trip offering great advice from a local perspective, unlike many of the larger competitors. Alex was our driver for the first half of the trip and was punctual, conversational, and flexible. All of the city tour guides he arranged were people he personally knew and it made all the difference. Every staff and guide we met was incredibly nice and accomodating. Once we went to the islands of Hvar and Korcula, while we didn’t have Alex as a driver, we never felt alone. He was so detail oriented and checked in often, answering any question we had within minutes. If we were scheduled to arrive somewhere at 5pm, we’d receive a text at 4:45pm with the name of our next contact and a picture of what to look for. The attention to detail was incredible. We highly recommend Limitless Balkan and hope to return in the future.

Alex was a great guide. Provided an introduction to the history of Croatia and showed us highlights of Zagreb. Including the tunnel and funicular. His suggestions regarding places to eat were very helpful. We had a delicious lunch and dinner at locations he suggested. Enjoyed seeing the market

I had great time touring the medieval city of Zagreb with Luka. He was very knowledge, jovial, funny and interacted with us well. We were a group of four including Luka. We got to see local gems and learn Croatian history. At the end of the tour Luka gave us all a lovely Croatian token (see what I did there… ) and provided great recommendations for other places to visit and restaurants. 10/10 for Luka.

My 10-day private journey through Croatia just ended, and it was a wonderful experience.
