        Great Tour!
Antonio is the Duke of all tour guides! His enthusiasm and mastery of the history of both Croatia and Slovenia was unparalleled. He spoke with a loud and clear voice and always invited questions. He picked up my friend and I at 8:30, right on the dot, in front of the Metrological Clock. It was really just the two of us, as we did the tour during the off-season (Feb). Antonio did pick up two colleagues later, tour guides in training as I understood. Our first stop was in chilly Ljubljana, where he went through a bit of the history and pointed out some points of interest (including a delicious lunch spot), and we had a bit of time on our own to walk around. We felt that the amount of time was short, but still enough as it is a small city. From there we went to Bled Castle, which was the highlight for me. It was quite empty because of the season, and thus enjoyable to move about unencumbered. The honey tasting was great, but for me I almost cried when I went to the workshop to see a replica Gutenberg Press! Oleg (I think was his name) showed me how it works and I printed a little souvenir to bring home with me. Unfortunately when we went to the lake, there were no boats operating to take us to the little island. Instead he gave us a bit of free time to walk around. Not a lot to see, but it was relaxing nonetheless. We headed home and I was back in my AirBnB by about 18:00.

        Beautiful part of the world
Delighted we decided to this this trip from Zagreb, Ljubljana was just as gorgeous as I’d been told and lake bled in the snow was just magical. I do feel it was overpriced tho, we had to pay extra for boat to lake bled island and also into castle and lunch was not included either. Therefore €120 for the trip was expensive, tour guide was a lovely man and his tour of Ljubljana was good. Overall it was a highlight of my trip absolutely stunning part of the world

        Slovenia day trip
One of the best day trips we've done as a family. Ljubljana is a beautiful city and Lake Bled is stunning. Definitely worth doing if you have a chance. we will definitely be back to visit Slovenia for longer.

        food tour in Zagreb
Our guide was amazing and spoke perfect English. She was an experienced traveller herself and was able to put Zagreb and its food in a wider historical setting. The food was excellent with good portions and came from resteraunts that specialised in typical Croatian food. It was all close to the daily Farmers market with food for sale on 3 floors. A fun tour. Be warned dont eat breakfast before this tour as we had to take some home in a doggy bag!

        More food talk, less politics.
Good walking tour. The tunnel and funicular were unexpected bonuses. Our guide Tin could have spent more time describing the food we ate and less time on his political views.

        A trip without borders!!
Antonio was an excellent guide. Super knowledgeable about all things, such as history, politics, and great places to eat! Pick-up was easy, and drives were around 1.5 to 2 hours or so! Not too long! We were given a small orientation tour of Ljubljana and allowed free time to roam as we pleased after. As I said, Antonio knew great places for Klobasa, ice cream, and traditional foods. After we headed to Bled. The lake and church were great, as was our boat man taking us from main land to Bled church on the island! Then we visited Bled Castle where we had great vies, Bled cream cake & also wine tasting for a cheap price of €2. The only bad thing was the weather....other than that...worth the price and a great day out to another country.

        Amazing experience from Zagreb
I have personally visited Bled and Ljubljana before. but Ines made the trip fun and interesting. Talking about history and relationship between different nations, understanding of Slovenia map as a 'screaming chicken' :D. This trip was worth it even though I have visited these places before. It should be a must experience if youre visiting Zagreb. So close and easy to go to experience Slovenia in a day.

        Great food, wine and cheese.
This food tour was too short for my liking because i was having so much fun. Great tour guide, Great food, great wine. Must try to get the best of Zagreb's food culture/scene.

Nice tour with an excellent guide
Nice experience with an excellent guide Antonio, who entertained us all the way. Nice drive through the country side of Slovenia with short visit of the capital city and nice trip to lake Bled. A bit overpriced for the short boat ride to the island that really does not offer much. The castle is worth the visit though.

Stunning visit to Ljubljana and Lake Bled
This tour was fabulous. So close to Zagrsb and yet you feel a world away. Ljubljana is a beautiful city, and Lake Bled is stunning. The day tour gave a great insight to Slovenia, I definitely will come back again and stay for a few days next time.

        Beautiful Bled Lake!!
Enis was our great tour guide for the day. Going to Ljubljana was nice, very cute place with a river running through... had a fabulous meal at Sokol before heading up to Bled Lake. Once there, Enis arranged for us to take a boat (similar to a gondola) over to the island. Then went to the castle which overlooks the lake. Absolutely beautiful!

        Great experience
Had a fantastic day trip to Ljubljana and Bled, the tour guide Dora was so friendly and made our day enjoyable, perfect amounts of time spent at each location and the smaller group meant we kept on time throughout the day,

        Amazing tour experience!
It was a great tour, I really recommend it. The guide Antonio was very nice and showed a great knowledge about the region. If u are staying at Zagreb and had time to join it, don’t think twice! It totally worth it.

Beautiful Day and a Wonderful Guide
Had an AMAZING time on this tour. Our guide, Antonio, really was the shining star as he gave us a ton of history of Croatia, Slovenia and the surrounding countries and the various conflicts they have been through. He is clearly passionate about where he lives and the people around him and it shows. He gave us a lot of personal stories too which was a beautiful touch. Ljubljana’s city center is adorable with a lot of shops to visit. Antonio gave us a tour of the highlights and more history of the city. The only downside was a personal one as a lot of people stared at me due to my body size. Lake Bled and the surrounding area is also stunning and the trip to the castle was the perfect way to end the day. The boat ride to the island on the lake was very fun but the boat paddler made some of the women on the tour uncomfortable. It might be cultural, but just to be aware. Overall 10/10, would recommend this tour and request Antonio if you can!

        Amazing day trip
Our guide Antonio was fantastic. He knew so much history about Croatia and Slovenia and all the places we went. He was always on time throughout the day. The trip was very beautiful and the small group was perfect.

A gorgeous walk through stunning natural surroundings. Highly recommend to any nature fan. Journey through the parks (as well as the trip to and from Zagreb) was facilitated by an excellent, knowledgeable, friendly tour guide (Antonio)

I was collected on time in a central location.
We were a small, personal group of 7, which is great as we all get to know each other and start bonding from the start!
Our guide was named Luka, he was friendly and had lots of information regarding the sites we would visit.
First up, we saw Rastoke Village. It is a tiny village made from wooden houses by a river, with less than 100 inhabitants!!
      Then off to the lakes!
They were a marvellous bluey/green colour, and it was so rewarding to see them contrasted against lush, green, and brown greenery of the hills and mountains.
There were some really nice waterfalls and a boat ride across to the second set of lakes.
It is a fantastic, natural wonder and well worth the price!
All in all, the day is long and slightly tiring, but a great choice.
We were collected around 8am and got back around 8 pm!
The tour company and of course, Luka made this a perfect outing.
      Thanks!!

The tour guide, Stjepan, was amazing. He made the tour more enjoyable and he catered for all our needs. The minivan was comfortable, the road was beautiful on the way to the Lakes and the lakes are definitely worth seeing. However, it was tiring because of the heat and there is a lot of walking and many stairs and uphills to climb. So, hiking lovers, this trip is for you. The scenery was amazing.

It was a last minute booking but one that would leave me with loads of memories! The park is phenomenal! The lakes are deep blue green and the falls were majestic! The day was a bit gloomy but the guide Antonio made up for the rather down atmosphere due the drizzle. Pick up was on point and the drive was made interesting with stories about Croatia and it’s history. When we arrived, the ticket line was not very long and we were happily walking along the path inside the park only after a couple of minutes. Antonio knew the best places to stop and take photos. When he saw that the queues to the boat will take time, he suggested for a walk along the bay of the lake and that turned out to be one of the highlights if the trip! We saw snakes (!), geckos and ducks which made the walk all the more interesting!

This was a fantastic one-day excursion and with the knowledge and wit of Antonio, it was transformed into an unforgettable experience!

I ended up booking two more trips with Roundabout, of course with Antonio as guide!

We loved Plitvice! Unfortunately, it rained the day of our tour, but even in the rain the park was beautiful. As for the tour, you're basically just paying for a ride to and from the park. Our tour guide led us through the lower part of the park, but he didn't have much else to say, and served pretty much as the person to keep our group together. We waited about an hour in line for the boat, and again waited a decent amount of time to catch the shuttle back to the park entrance at the end of our time. Being part of this tour does NOT bump you ahead in line. FYI: this tour did not include the upper falls. Also, BRING FOOD. We left Zagreb at 8:30am and left Plitvice around 4pm without having a breakfast or a lunch stop. Thankfully, our guide was flexible and agreed to take our group to a restaurant after leaving the park because we were all so hungry! Overall, I didn't have a personal vehicle to get me from Zagreb to Plitvice, so the tour served me well for what I needed, and the park is truly beautiful. Don't expect much more than a ride on this tour, and hope that everyone is your group understands the concept of staying together. And BRING FOOD!

We joined a full day Plivtice Lake tour with Roundabout tour company. We were picked up from our hotel & headed out to Plivtice National Park. We have been there before from Split & Loved it so much that we decided to visit the lake again from Zagreb. Was VERY DISAPPOINTED that we weren’t taken to the upper lake with 12 waterfalls but walked 1 hour around the main lake towards the picnic area. We ONLY visited the lower lake with 4 waterfalls. I feel, if this tour does not include upper lake, then it should be mentioned on your website.

Dear, Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry to hear about your situation. Usually, our tour takes you to see both upper and lower lakes but there are situations in which there are older passengers or passengers with walking disabilities in the group. In those cases, our guides takes a group on a tour to see the most beautiful parts of Plitvice Lakes leaving out part of the upper lakes so it wouldn’t be too much for them. Did you speak to the guide about seeing the whole part of upper lakes? Our guides are flexible and if you have told our guide to take you to see the upper lakes he/she would have acted accordingly We are very sorry that you were disappointed. If you ever come back in Croatia or Slovenia get back to us so we could treat you with a tour on us.

The tour to Plitvice Lakes was the highlight of our trip to Zagreb (so far). The falls were as pretty as advertised and the color of the trees in autumn provided a stunning backdrop. Dino was a wonderful guide with great knowledge of the area and an obvious passion for Croatia. Most of the other tours we saw at the park were very large groups which arrived in buses. We have tried these types of tours before but they just don't offer the same experience as a small group or private tour. We are staying a couple weeks in Zagreb and are already planning a trip to Slovenia (with Dino, of course).
