    Cave and waterfall trip
Great trip, highly recommended to exist from the city and view beautiful scenery. Our guide Denitsa was perfect and completed our trip experience.

    Special Night in Sofia
We had a private tour with Nicolai! He was a great guide, easy to speak with about a variety of topics. He picked us up at our Airbnb, showed us the sights of Sofia and then took us to a beautiful Bulgarian restaurant near the Vitosha mountain. The food and show were fantastic! Definitely recommend for a special night in Sofia.

    Absolutely unacceptable: DRUNK DRIVER!!!
I would never recommend this company. The DRIVER WAS DRUNK or seriously hangover when arrived to my hotel. The almost fell when opening the door of the van, smelled of alcohol badly, almost fell asleep on the motor way, drove dangerously, had a really bad reaction time, could not speak properly. At one point we considered the possibility to switch places with him And the italian passenger (tourist) would drive the car instead of him, because we felt so much in danger. I immediately contacted the company And they sent another driver but Still, we had to stay in the van with him for almost 2 hours, anxious, overspeeding on the motor way, And fearing for our life basically. Absolutely outrageous!!!! I demand now some compensation on getyoirguide because I did not pay to endanger my life - obviously!

Nice view. But: No really guided tour! Disappointing! Guide spoke bad English and she had no knowledge about the spots.
Trip on 17.03.24. I was picked up on time at 8:00 am with a pleasant Spanish group. (4 people) But: If I took a taxi and go by myself it would be the same! This guide is wrong in her profession! Unfortunately no really explanation about the spots, even if you ask for it. You get a paper flyer of Belogradchick fortress from the entrance office and less sentences in broken English about the spots. Apart from this: In Belogradchick you can’t pay by card or EUR only in Lew. (Including the restaurant). Unfortunately the clients will not be informed about this important issue. On the back tour I was asking to stop somewhere, that I can buy somewhere water, because I felt sick. Only after 2 hours she stopped and was annoyed by my request. This attitude is frightening! On the whole: Belogradchick Fortress and Venezia cave are really beautiful sightseeing places, but I recommend to do this trip with another company!

    A private tour for us!
This was a great tour! We ended up being the only ones who had booked that evening, so it pretty much became a private tour of Sofia! The tour guide (Denitsa) gave us a lot of insights into the history of Bulgaria. The dinner at the end was really good! But you must call in advance and confirm dietary restrictions as the food is prepared by the time you arrive. The performance is for the whole restaurant, and they involve the guests so be prepared to shake a leg! Will definitely recommend!

    Magical place!
Undoubtedly, the Belogradchik rocks are one of the unique natural phenomena not only in Bulgaria and Europe, but also on a global scale. The most interesting and significant cultural monument in a historical aspect in Belogradchik is the "Kaleto" fortress. It is one of the best preserved fortresses in the country and a cultural monument of national importance. This ancient fortress was built among impenetrable rocks, when the Bulgarian state was not formed, and the Balkan Peninsula was within the boundaries of the Roman Empire.

    Great tour and guide
A great tour - details a little vague on TripAdvisor but I contacted the agent who was able to clarify. Great guides whose name I cannot recall. Lovely to see the city at night with some information and then the restaurant / folklore evening was very enjoyable. Plenty of local food!

    Great experience.
My husband and I enjoyed our night tour of Sofia, followed by a dinner and folklore show. Seeing Sofia at night was great and added a different dimension to our trip. Our guide named Katrin Valkova was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant.

Awesome day trip with Filip and Rvi
My husband and I joined another couple on a day trip to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanasi. The other couple spoke Spanish and we only spoke English. Our guide, Filip, was amazing the entire day, and exceeded our expectations. Filip conveyed so much information about the sights, in both Spanish and English, alternating between the two languages easily so both couples felt up-to-date with understanding the history of what was in front of us. We were picked up from our hotel in Sofia in a spacious Mercedes that was very clean and comfortable. Rvi was our driver and she was very patient and careful, especially when it poured while we were in transit and other drivers were doing silly things on the road. We thoroughly recommend this day trip, for seeing the old Veliko Tarnovo palace - fortress, the colourful Church of the Nativity and an old traditional house in Arbanasi. Filip and Rvi were both friendly and extrememly considerate and professional.

    Tour of Sofia
My husband and I were the only 2 booked on our chosen date so we in effect had a private for. Denisa was our tour guide and she was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of Sofia. She also gave us some hints and tips of places to go while touring the city. The visit to the Bulgarian restaurant was interesting. Shopska salad followed by roast chicken and potatoes and a dessert. There were folk dancers and musicians which were entertaining. We then went outside for more entertainment. Denisa stayed with us for the evening so we got to know her quite well. We both enjoyed the evening and would recommend it to other travellers.

Jun 2019 • Friends
I booked this tour for myself and two other friends who were visiting Sofia and Bulgaria for the first time. I read that these tours are for small groups only which was something we were looking for hoping that there will be a small amount of tourists. It turned out to be the best choice I made. We were greeted by Danny a local tour guide at the entrance of the National Art Gallery and there was only us three and him so we couldn't be happier from minute one. We hit it off with Danny straight away and our exciting adventure began.
He was taking us to all the main historical buildings telling us the history of it with such enthusiasm and pride that we fell in love with the city during this amazing tour. We had his attention throughout the tour and we asked hundreds of questions and he was always happy to answer them. We had two stops during the tour for the local food tasting which was sufficient enough to keep you going until dinner time. Again Danny couldn't be more helpful and enthusiastic about it all.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour and particularly Danny to be your tour guide if you want to feel like a local in his company and learn so much about the city, the country, the history etc from such an enthusiastic, well informed, knowledgeable and inspiring young man.

First let me say the guide was knowledgeable and did a good job. Also for the most part I did get what was described with some exceptions.

However, I thought I was signing up for a food tour. I've been on a few of those and normally there are >8 stops along the way on the ones I've been on. I have used it in the past to check out restaurants at the beginning of my trip to figure out where I'll eat over the week. I feel I basically got a walking tour with a Shopska salad, a yogurt drink, a glass of wine , and some Bulgarian cold cuts added in. The food was all good pretty large portions for a food tour (somewhat compensating for fewer stops) , however if I could do it again I probably would have gone for a walking tour only at about a third of the price and spent the extra money on dinner.
