The tour was an exceptional week of learning about the complex and sometimes tragic relationships of these Balkan countries. The sights were amazing and the history of each site we visited was detailed by knowledgeable local guides. Our 7-day tour was well organized and as we had a personal driver/guide (Zulfo) who was also contributing we couldn't have asked for more. Elvis and especially Zulfo gave us an experience that we won't forget. I highly recommend this tour and especially this company of guides.

We started in Llubjana, Slovenia visited old town and dragon bridge and beatiful Lake Bleed. In Croatia we visited Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes. After that we went to Bihac we had very excellent breakfast at the hotel with beautiful river view, the journey continue to Jajce visit watermills, lake and waterfall and to Mostar with its famous Stari Bridge. Next visit is Herzegovina we visited Kravica waterfall, old stone town and Buna river spring. Another place in croatia, Split we visited old remain Diocletian’s palace and Dubrovnic with its famous to because of the Game of Thrones use this beautiful old town as is sites. Next country is Montenegro we visited Budva and Kotor old town and cats. The journey end in Sarajevo with many history from the city, beautiful place with mix culture and remain history from the war. We also visited Sebrenica. We spent 11 Days with Mr Zulfo our best tour guide. He is friendly we will miss him a lot. The culinary experiences also amazing besides the view and historical experiences. Thank you tour Mage. Definitely recomended.

Our guide met us at our hotel. After greetings, we were on our way for the walking tour part of the grand tour. I am embarrassed to say I do not remember our guides name. And I didn’t document it on my phone either. I will say that he was very good as a walking guide, and equally as good with driving around the area. He was very knowledgeable, and a joy to visit with, and share stories with. Very personable. We had a lovely day too. My wife had our guide to ourselves today, so all the attention was on us. It was so much fun. We made it to all of the promised locations. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and the hours flew by. We finished our tour with a sit down for Bosnian coffee in the old town. I would do this tour again if I came back to Sarajevo.

We selected the grand tour of Sarajevo with Mage Tours. The guide cum driver, Elvis, did an outstanding job of conducting us around all the lovely historical and tourist sits in and around Sarajevo. He knew the history of Bosnia and explained in detail every aspect of the city. A very charming young man and most helpful, strongly recommend him for any tours in Bosnia

We just completed the 7 day tour of 5 countries with Tour Mage, and we were very happy with the trip. It was challenging trying to find a tour company that would do a private tour of the Balkans, but I found Tour Mage online (via Tour Radar) and as soon as I started texting with Elvis, the owner, I felt great about the tour. He was incredibly responsive every time I reached out to him during the planning stages - even in the middle of the night Bosnia time (I am in the U.S.), and very positive. The actual tour went off without any issues. We were picked up at the aiport on time, taken the the hotels he had booked, and visited all of the sites. I fell in love with Bosnia-Herzogina and Northern Macedonia, though all 5 of the countries were nice. We had an incredible driver - Edis - who was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. In each new country, we had a city tour and learned so much about the Balkans. We grew to love the different cultures, food, music, wine, history, and beautiful scenery. The only downsides were the very hot weather (perhaps we should have selected May or September instead of July) and bad traffic at times. Everyday was in the 90's and sometimes 100+ degrees F. However, the car was air-conditioned and so were the hotels. Due to bad traffic, we didn't have as much downtime as we expected, but still greatly enjoyed the trip. Highlights were Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik, Lake Orhic, Skopje, and the two wineries we visited. We would definitely recommend Tour Mage without reservation. A very talented team of tourism specialists!

Amazing day in a company of the tour guide Adnan! Everything was super smooth - from the booking the tour, up to its finish. Adnan is very passionate about every aspect of the history and gave us a great tour around Sarajevo during our short visit. All questions answered, all requested attended. Adnan was our tour guide. And it was wonderful! Adnan picked up up from our apartment on a Mercedes mini van, so the transportation was very comfortable. His English is perfect, he was so helpful and understanding. He listened to our requests, and quickly adopted to our interests. He never rushed us, so we could enjoy every location. His knowledge, love and appreciation for his country was felt in every word. It’s amazing! Also the communication with the company was easy and quick! Perfect! That is how I can best describe dealing with Elvis and Tour Mage. I was looking for a tour operator that could deliver a highly customized 10-day tour of the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina). After extensive research I settled on Tour Mage. Following initial discussion, Elvis provided a comprehensive proposal and once we agreed he delivered on every aspect of the proposal and MORE! It is understandable to be a little nervous when you pay a large sum of money upfront to someone you are unfamiliar with for a multi-day tour including costs for hotels, transportation, guides, and other expenses. There is no concern with Tour Mage, this is an exceptional company to deal with. We are seasoned travelers, and I can say this is the best we have ever been looked after. The individualized tours, the selection and overall quality of hotels as well as the itinerary were all excellent. For us, it was our guide Zulfo that made this journey truly special. He was with us every step of the way and managed every detail. He was far more than an excellent driver and an extremely conscientious personal assistant, he is an exceptional person and became like family. It was not easy saying good-bye. We will never forget this exceptional experience.

We met with our tour guide (Elvis) at the allocated time of 1200. He greeted us and handed us a bottle of water which is a tradition in Sarajevo as the saying goes an old lady handed out water to the soldiers during the war. He informed my daughter and I we would essentially be on a private tour and we travelled in his car rather than a mini bus for up to fifteen. This made it more interesting. We went to the Olympic Village, the Tunnel Of Hope, Sniper Alleyway passing many viewpoints. This tour included entry to the tunnel. We had plenty of time during our stops to listen and ask questions about the siege of Sarajevo. During the drive Elvis handed out a snack and said we should go for a Bosnian Coffee at the end of the tour. This was a nice and personal touch which I expect wouldn’t normally happen. Thank you so much! The tour lasted approximately the time stated. I wouldn’t hesitate using this company again the next time we are in the region. Well recommended 😎

This trip was fascinating, Elvis was a fountain of knowledge and made this tour a must do for anyone travelling to Sarajevo. There were only two of us in the group and we were brought through the ages of the city from before the Ottoman Empire to present day seeing many of the pivotal locations that helped shape the country. If you get the chance you should definitely do this tour.

I used Tourmage for a private airport transfer to downtown Sarajevo and it worked great. Avoid dealing with taxis and use these guys instead. Friendly driver. Great service for 20 euro.

If you do a tour, you should request Elvis. His knowledge was amazing, and our group learned so much about his amazing country. We had such an amazing experience and he should us the best of his country. From seeing the old town of Sarajevo, to the 1984 bobsled course, to Sarajevo war tunnels, to Tito’s bunker, to Konjic, to Kravica Waterfall, to the Dervish house, to Mostar with a special surprise stop to Pocitelj, I couldn’t pick a favorite place. The entire country is beautiful and the people are super friendly. Elvis introduced us to the best of what his country has to offer and can’t wait to come back to visit!
