Memorial was officially opened by former US President Bill Clinton in September 2003. That same year in March, the cut was made the first 600 identified victims.

The Srebrenica day tour was very easy to organise with Kamer. Our tour guide Vekas was fantastic - he was very professional, informative and ensured the tour was tailored to us. We had adequate time to learn about the history, view the museum and cemetery. We greatly enjoyed the journey with beautiful scenery and learning about the history. I would highly recommend this experience with Torus Tours.

Being able to see and walk through the factory where over 25000 sought refuge made a huge impact on me. the footage and photographs were hard to watch but so important to remember. I would advise everyone to visit who want to understand and make sense of the atrocities that happened in Srebrenica.
