- Z5486IErebeccat0 contributionsHas to be in your itinerary!Incredible full day tour that showed us not only the sites on the itinerary but the gorgeous scenery too. Adis was fantastic, providing useful tips for travelling and showing us the best places for a Bosnian coffee at Mostar and the best photo stop for that memory. The trip is full day so I advise taking water and some small cash with you for coffee and pomegranate juice along the way. A fantastic tour that I'd recommend in a heartbeat.Written December 3, 2024
- 162vivil0 contributionsWonderful and dreamy snow viewIt was a wonderful, amazing experience. We saw the fantastic snow view, learned the history behind it, and had authentic sandwiches. Very fulfilling, and highly recommend it!!Written November 26, 2024

Although the weather wasn’t the best on the day I traveled, but Ibrahim made this tour so interesting that I had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I would definitely come back again and book another tour to know this lovely country more 😊Written November 21, 2024

- Arb780 contributionsA tour that teaches you things no book canI’m not a review writer; the only one I’ve written was for my apartment complex when they gave me $500 off for writing one. But my tour with Ibrahim made me immediately know I wanted to leave a review. Ibrahim was informative, which is an understatement. I learned things about Sarajevo that you couldn’t learn by reading any book or website. He’s rightfully proud of Sarajevo’s resolve through the siege, and he shows that through stories of people on the ground and their large and small acts of resistance. You know how you might read a resume but not really KNOW the person who wrote it until you interview them? That’s what this tour felt like - actually meeting the person. I’ve read probably 10 books about the Balkans, Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and Sarajevo, but this tour taught me more than any of them and really made Sarajevo and the siege come to life. No book can take you through Sniper Alley from the ground, pointing up to the sniper positions, and then later show you the view of those same spots from the sniper positions in the mountains. One of the downsides of guided tours is that usually you don’t get time to explore on your own. But at several points, Ibrahim gave time to wander around the sites on my own. This was especially nice when we stopped at the bobsled track on Trebevic. (I just forgot that it would be a lot harder walking back UP the track…) Ibrahim didn’t limit himself to showing or discussing things on the Siege of Sarajevo. We talked about snowfall for the ‘84 Olympics, the Jewish history in the city, Bosnia’s modern political system, and even some Bosnian pronunciation tips. He also talked about his own experience growing up in Sarajevo. Maybe the best way to express how happy I was with this tour: I went to the Siege of Sarajevo museum the night after the tour, and although the museum was extremely well done, it couldn’t compare to the tour, which really made the history come alive. I don’t remember how I picked this specific tour, but I’m very glad I did. To prove that, I’ll add that when I told my mom about it afterwards, she was ready to come to Sarajevo herself despite initially not understanding why I chose to travel here! Changing my mom’s mind is the best review, far better than anything I could write here. I’ve probably written way too much, but I hope that length conveys how much I enjoyed this tour. Ibrahim is proud of Sarajevo and its history, and Sarajevo should be proud to have someone like him showing off the city.Written November 13, 2024

- Stephen W0 contributionsExcellent tour. Excellent guide. Dress warm in winter. Our tour guide Adnan is a war veteran. His personal insights into the war and the tunnel are invaluable. When it's personal, you get a real sense of the cruelties of this conflict and the perseverance of the Bosnian people. The tunnel tour was very good. There's a video about 20 minutes long with footage of people transporting supplies and weapons through the tunnel. We also visited the bobsleigh track from the 1984 Winter Olympics, and walked along the track. Some beautiful murals painted on the track now. And we visited the Jewish cemetery briefly. Overall, a great tour. If you visit from November through the winter months, bundle up, especially for a morning tour. It was freezing.Written November 8, 2024
- N4746XOdavids0 contributionsA must tour when visiting SarajevoIt was en excellent tour. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour and Sarajevo as a city. People in the city have treated me incredibly well. My tour guide was Ibrahim and I was lucky to be the only person in the group! He is local and also his family and I was really happy and lucky to have the tour done by him. I really wanted to thank him for his professionalism, politness, well informed, friendliness, and his love for the city and passion for his work that went above and beyond! I learnt a lot about the situation of the city and country at the time of the war and the history of Yugoslavia and the former yugoslave republics. Also about the people in BiH, the languages, the religions, the food, the winter olympic games. He is also a very good driver and the van was really comfortable! He also was ready to answer all the question, being very precise and accurate in all his answers. I will come back to Sarajevo with my friends sometime in the future. I have travelled all around the world and for me, Ibrahim has been the BEST TOUR GUIDE I have had so far! Thank you very much indeed and I hope to come back for more tours.Written November 3, 2024

- tillo3130 contributionsDeep dive into Sarajevos historyIf you really want to find out what it was like in Sarajevo during the siege, you should book this tour. The guide Muhamed is a true Sarajevo native and experienced the war at close quarters. He also knows everything about his city and patiently answers all your questions - be it about his favourite food, the technical details of the bobsleigh run or the situation in Bosnia today. He is also a funny guy.Written October 31, 2024

Everything was just perfect. A friend and I booked a private tour. Our guide was Haris. At the end of the day we were friends. He's amazing, lots of knowledge and a great company. Bosnia and Herzegovina is a beautiful country, definitely worth visiting.
We spent about 90 minutes in Mostar but I would say an hour is OK. It was just a short trip, one day, but we would love to come back and explore more sites. Thank you, Haris, for this experience and also thank you, Asim, for the fluent communication and for your care. Good luck!

I had an amazing experience on my Mostar trip. With the help of Zuzi and Samir, I was able to take in the sights of Mostar, Dervish House, Pocitelj, and Waterfall. From the starting itself, Zuzi made me feel comfortable. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great guide.
I would highly recommend any tour that Zuzi and Samir are offering. Thank you for the wonderful trip to Bosnia!

We were very satisfied with our tour guide Ahmed. First he took us to eat a traditional Bosnian food Burek, then we went to visit Pocitelj and he showed us the history of the castle. Our favorite part was Mostar. We enjoyed out trip very much and would like to visit it again. Special props to Ahmed, he really knew a lot about Bosnia and their culture.

Great tour! Džan was very friendly and informative, providing historical knowledge and local color. He efficiently covered 5000 years of history, and provided great context for everything we went to see.
The ride between destinations was comfortable, with beautiful scenery even though we were out on a foggy day.
Well planned tour with a lot of interesting sites, without becoming an overwhelming day.
Really appreciated being able to tour in a smaller group.

Beautiful landscape in good weather
Our guide Dina excelled with her knowledge and took good care of us in the car.
Too bad we didn't have even better time, but the drive took its time as it was quite a long drive to all the places.
