Very informative and interesting
We had a very insightful and informative tour about the history of the city of sarajevo and the war that happened aprox. 30 years ago. Also we had a very intelligent and funny tour guide named enes. Moreover he showed us a very good spot to have a typical bosnian meal, which tasted amazing.

It was a pleasure to see Sarajevo from a different perspective from the surrounding hills, beautiful panoramas and lookouts under which the whole city can be seen.

In addition, we were reminded of what a horrible period this city and its inhabitants went through in the 4 years of siege.

The great guides Enes, Oma and Nadir gave us real history lessons about the capital of BiH, there was a beautiful gathering, very kind, smiling and interesting guides.

I would recommend this tour to anyone who really wants to experience and get to know Sarajevo in the right way.

Favourite tour so far. Our tour was led by Mr. Enes who was very funny, full of knowledge and interesting information. We visited all of the key sights and got to know the very detailed history of Sarajevo as well as some personal experiences from our guide. I would definitely choose this tour again, and recommend the agency. Everyone was so polite - I got the feeling they are very dedicated and passionate about their job.

A GREAT way to see the top sights and get an overview of the city’s history.
We booked the Sarajevo under siege tour and were SO happy with our experience. We had Enes for the day and a very competent driver all to ourselves due to the pandemic and the fact that not too many tourists were around. We couldn’t have been luckier. Enes had so much information to share and endless patience for all my questions. He shared facts and details, explaining the interesting and complicated history of Sarajevo. I would recommend that you request Enes as your guide. His energy is evident and his passion is obvious. He was kind and thoughtful of our needs and went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. With the difficult recent history of Sarajevo and Bosnia it was a nice a needed relief to occasionally have his humor interject and lighten the topic. I would love to come back and take his tour with all my family. Thank you!

Enjoyable history tour with a badass tour guide

Despite the lack of tourists during the pandemic, Enes and Nadir went out of their way to provide a great tour experience. Enes' witty and expressive personality was definitely the highlight of the tour. We had a blast walking through the fresh snow at the abandoned bobsled track and admiring the expansive view of Sarajevo from the abandoned restaurant on Mount Trebević. I appreciated that Enes shared some of his own personal experiences, like how he managed to track down the Swedish (?) boy that sent him gifts during the war and that he had the chance to personally meet and thank Bruce Dickinson, lead singer of Iron Maiden, for performing at Sarajevo during the siege. Enes has great taste in music and even sent me some songs related to the conflict in Sarajevo, which accompanied me during the rest of my time in the city and gave me a lot to reflect on.
The sites we went to were all super fascinating. At the Tunnel of Hope, I got to hear the stories of individuals who braved their lives to bring in food and supplies during the Siege. Enes was very candid in his delivery of Sarajevo's history. I could tell it meant a lot to him. If anything, this tour was too short!

Definitely Recommend!
This half day tour is an absolute must-do while you're in Sarajevo.

You're picked up at the Spirit Tours office in the city centre and then taken to Sniper Alley (which has way more impact if you've watched news clips on YouTube first), then driven to the Tunnel of Hope Museum, through the Republic of Srpska, up to the top of Mt. Trebević (views!), and then you can walk along the abandoned bobsled track, then the Jewish Cemetry and on the way back to the office then you'll cross the bridge of the first two victims of the seige.

Our guide was Selma and she was incredible. Her father escaped the seige through the tunnel so she knows what she's talking about and she will tell you everything, no holding back. Loved it. I could not recommend her or the tour more. I don't think I've ever learnt (and remembered!) so much in a few hours.

Thank you!
