- Space0ne00Spirit Tours - Highly recommendWe did the Tour of Sarajevo. It start in from of the Catholic Church at 10 am. With a Green Umbrella. The guide was very informative, easy to understand and shared a lot of past and present. We did not feel rushed, he covered all the areas of tourist interest plus bakeries, restaurant etc.
- I6724IFkelseys00Great tour guide, local knowledgeEMINA KOSO, our guide, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the tunnel of hope! She picked us up from spirit tours, and dropped us off at our hotel, and during the drive she told us so many interesting stories and facts about the siege of Sarajevo. The tunnel of hope was sad of course, but also informative on a very complicated subject. It was great having a local guide to learn from, and we would definitely do another tour with Emina.
- zeZlina00Sarajevo with AdoWe took advantage of the Free Walking Tour on the 3rd of August 2023 with a guide named Ado. He was well educated, very patient and adjusted his English to our level so that we were able to understand him. It was an amazing experience. In 2 hours, we were shown so many things, which would take us at least 2 days to explore on our own. In addition, we were given a few tips for other interesting sights and places to visit. Thank you very much, Andrea and Radoslav, Czech Republic.
- mhM5611KD00Excelent Spirit Tours!Wonderful experience, wonderful trip, friendly guides, everything was exactly as agreed. My sincere recommendations with Spirit Tours!

- krzysieka7800Taken from Life, Not made up from your fingers.Hello to all those who want to experience one of the greatest moments in their lives, and if you decide and are in the Capital of Bosnia-Sarajevo, do not miss the trip called Under The Siege 1425 days with Travel Guide Emina, the agency is called SPIRIT city tours&excursions so wonderful looking for a guide today under the sun, Is not the person who supports himself and his family just because the history of Bosnia is fresh after the war and the wounds have not yet healed and we, as outsiders, want to see with our own eyes what has happened here yet. Not long ago, but it's just one of the people who at that time felt the effects of such a massacre and cruel punishment of the Bosnian nation and the Muslim nation first-hand, I could go on and on here, but that's not the point, come and experience it yourself from my side scale 1-5=5+ Thank you again for the great impressions and a great day Emina🙏🏻🙂
- Windswept_Alannah00ExcellentThe evening tour was excellent. It was very informative and everyone enjoyed the discussions. As well, I appreciated the guide's insights on topics, historical or present.
- Curious4514615965500Enes is an amazing storyteller to make history come to lifeEnes is an excellent tour guide who is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Sarajevo. He tells stories about the people who lived and died during the siege of Sarajevo in a way that is both informative and moving. He also gives you a real sense of the courage and resilience of the people of Sarajevo. I highly recommend Enes as your tour guide if you are interested in learning more about the history of Sarajevo.
- FlorisGuestHouse00A great opportunty to broaden your horizonsA tour in which you can see important things with trained guides , in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, recommended
- mouade73900Sarajevo through a real local's eyesA very professional and entertaining tour. The Guide's strong history command alongside his eloquence made the time run by so quickly. If you want to discover Sarajevo through the eyes of a knowledgeable local, that's the one to take.
- kooldave24700A spirit walking tour is a necessity when visiting the great city of Sarajevo!Adnan (Ado) gave an amazing and passionate free walking tour around the key parts of the city! I loved his attitude and extensive knowledge. He was able to answer questions immediately. He made you feel as if you hopped in a time machine back to the past especially while you are at the exact spot where WWI started. Don't miss out on an incredible experience!
- U8857HUelenaf00Great walking tourWe took a free walking tour around Sarajevo and it was extremely interesting and well explained. Our guide, Ado, was very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. Totally recommended!

Favourite tour so far. Our tour was led by Mr. Enes who was very funny, full of knowledge and interesting information. We visited all of the key sights and got to know the very detailed history of Sarajevo as well as some personal experiences from our guide. I would definitely choose this tour again, and recommend the agency. Everyone was so polite - I got the feeling they are very dedicated and passionate about their job.

This half day tour is an absolute must-do while you're in Sarajevo.
You're picked up at the Spirit Tours office in the city centre and then taken to Sniper Alley (which has way more impact if you've watched news clips on YouTube first), then driven to the Tunnel of Hope Museum, through the Republic of Srpska, up to the top of Mt. Trebević (views!), and then you can walk along the abandoned bobsled track, then the Jewish Cemetry and on the way back to the office then you'll cross the bridge of the first two victims of the seige.
Our guide was Selma and she was incredible. Her father escaped the seige through the tunnel so she knows what she's talking about and she will tell you everything, no holding back. Loved it. I could not recommend her or the tour more. I don't think I've ever learnt (and remembered!) so much in a few hours.
Thank you!

I got to go to Bosnia and Herzegovina unexpectedly to visit my granddaughter who is in school there. I took the Free Walking Tour of Sarajevo with Said as the guide first. Said did a masterful job of weaving history, politics, culture and religion into the approximately 2 hour tour. The tour itself was very interesting and was like a sampler platter of the city of Sarajevo. I am a note taker, and took about 4 pages of notes so I would remember the facts about the pictures I took. Said was knowledgeable, took the time to answer any questions, and made a point of involving his tourists in the conversation. HIs explanation of why the area we were walking through was called "The Jerusalem of Europe" was fascinating. The next day, I took the 1425 Days Under Seige War Tour, advertised as a 3 hour tour, but was actually a little longer (a good thing!). Ilma was our tour guide, and she did a great job of laying out the beginnings of the war, its causes and impacts on the city as we drove to the Tunnel of Hope. We saw Sniper Alley, the Parliament building. At the Tunnel of Hope, which is a tunnel constructed under the runway at Sarajevo airport, to smuggle people, supplies and arms in and out of Sarajevo, we got to go down into the tunnel and experience it first hand. The tour then took us up onto the mountain where the bobsled run for the 1984 Winter Olympics is located, as well as to the Jewish Cemetary. Ilma was very articulate and painted a vivid picture of effects of the war were on the people of Sarajevo. I HIGHLY recommend Spirit Tours for anyone visiting Sarajevo. Had I had more time, I would have liked to have taken additional excursions, including the rafting tour. Well maybe next time! Thanks to Said and Ilma for making my vacation memorable!

Myself and my friends gathered around 10am as Spirit offers a free guided tour in Sarajevo. Once we gathered it started to rain, however our amazing tour guide Aya started the tour which was lovely under the rain that added a special taste to the tour.
The tour lasted an hour and half, wondering the old city and talking about various landmarks and history.
The tour is worth doing specially in your first day in Sarajevo.

Sarejovo 1425 Days" was an unforgettable tour, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. Emina Koso, our tour guide, was the heartbeat of the experience. Her wealth of memories from the war was evident in every word she spoke, making the tour deeply impactful. Through her poignant storytelling, she courageously shared her pain, giving us a firsthand account of the war's brutal reality. Emina's emotional connection with the past made the history come alive, allowing us to empathize with the resilience of the people of Sarajevo. This tour was a humbling reminder of the power of storytelling and the enduring strength of the human spirit.

Emina Koso was our guide for a tour around Sarajevo and its historical places, regarding the Siege of the city and the Civil War in the 90s. She was punctual and used her own vehicle for the tour, which was very convenient and comfortable. She explained precisely the historical events, while driving us around the city and taking us to the Tunnel of Life Museum, and she showed us the important buildings in Sarajevo, so we could understand better the movie about the historical events. Emina was well prepared on the historical period, she answered all of our questions and told us about her own experience of war. She organised a flexible and customisable tour, that we enjoyed a lot.

Great tour! The history of the city of Sarajevo is quite interesting and at certain points quite difficult to understand. Luckily for us, we had a great guide who could retell it in such a concise, comprehansible & interesting way, that it really touched our hearts... A must do tour for all of those who are interested in the war happenings in Sarajevo just at the beggining of the '90-s.

We had a very insightful and informative tour about the history of the city of sarajevo and the war that happened aprox. 30 years ago. Also we had a very intelligent and funny tour guide named enes. Moreover he showed us a very good spot to have a typical bosnian meal, which tasted amazing.

Enes is the man! I loved both of the tours he took me and my friends on. The walking tour is excellent for information about the formation and recent history of the city. The Sarajevo Under Siege tour was basically a private tour with my friends and Enes was amazing. He answered in detail all of my questions and I came away with so much knowledge.
Can't stress enough how much information and passion Enes has for his city and he will share it all with with you. Fantastic guy. You are welcome in Ireland any time my friend.

It turned out to be that I’m the only one in the group tour, but it did’t seem to disrupt the depth and historicity of this tour. Said is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and you can see how much he is passionate about this job and how much love he has to this city. Though our driver has very limited English, he is also super helpful and polite, dedicated to his work. Highly recommend this tour.
