- 1Baščaršija as the most important part of Sarajevo city has a lot to offer. Normally with us you will have the opportunity to see ALL attraction in this historically most interesting part of Sarajevo. First we start with Baščaršija square itself, famous fountain called Sebilj, and a whole story behind. Later we move on towards Kazandžiluk street (Coppersmith's street), burned library - Vijećnica and Inat Kuća, and thorough explanation regarding the two distanced fortresses, Yellow and White bastion. We keep our way and learn about few bridges, including Šeher-ćehaja, Imperial and Latin bridge. Latin Bridge and the museum next to it, World famous due to one unfortunate event that took place there, the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, which we go through, in every aspect (terrorist or a hero). Imperial mosque, Gazi Husref beys mosque complex (Mosque, Khanikah, Ezantash, Fountain, Clock tower, Gazi Husref beys bezistan, Madrassa, public bathroom, public kitchen, etc.) and few other spots around are places we certanly do not miss.Pass byNowBosnia
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Ajr8550 contributionsA great experienceIncredibly busy and bustling street to the bridge, but well worth the vvisit.Dont get conned with the expensive car parks. We found a meter outside the main central area in Zone 2 for 5 hours at just 5KM (£2.15). Enjoyed walking round the side streets and old town as well as the river bank and bridge. The Culture museum is interesting though a bit small and was only 5KM each. The Genocide Museum is fairly expensive but needs a strong constitution to face the reality of what went on in the 1990's.Written September 18, 2024

- Scott W0 contributionsVisited Kravica (waterfalls), Roman ruins and 15th century town…and moreSasa from NowBosnia gave us a splendid tour of the “oasis” Kravica (waterfalls) at a good time of the day for them to be enjoyed. We also saw an early church funded by the Sultan many centuries ago that until recently was operating a massive vineyard, Roman ruins in Caplinja and the 15th century town of Pocitelj built into a hillside with the most splendid view of the Neretva River valley. Also the natural wildlife refuge of Park Prirode Hutova Blato. These little known gems of Herzegovina were worth going with Sasa to get a feel for the cultural history of this region…as well as experiencing Mostar with him on another day.Written August 9, 2023
- Scott W0 contributionsCharming knowledgeable guideSasa knows everything and everyone, the best shops that have locally made goods, the restaurants that have local foods. He knows the ancient and modern histories. Plus he took us outside Mostar to Blagaj and other Herzegovina sites. Funny, friendly and caring about our well-being and happiness.Written August 8, 2023
- Scott W0 contributionsFriendly knowledgeable hostYou get a very good feel for traditional life, even with the low table to sit around, samovar, friends/family visiting areas, fireplace oven… Even more impressive is that the house was hand-built with rock and it’s fine stone and wood ornamentation. Pomegranate, fig and kiwi trees as wellWritten August 8, 2023
- Jurica690 contributionsUnforgettable lifetime experienceThis VIP party was a blast! I am so grateful to have been there with the best crowd. I would definitely do this again.Written June 9, 2023
- Gfunkkay0 contributionsSutjeska A Must See !Amazing experience from beginning to end ! Our guide was very timely in picking us up, spoke both English and Bosnian fluently so was able to translate any information we saw and asked about. Had small snack packs ready for us with water, chips & a pastry. The park is absolutely breath taking and contains so many historical stories that are incredible to hear from the locals who work there. There’s many options on what you can do but we choose to walk around a lot to get the most of the scenery. The tour itself is a bit pricey and does not include any entrances but I will say the tour guide was kind, reliable and helpful.Written January 15, 2022
- Katie S0 contributionsTasty and knowledgeable dinnerOur guide Sacha had lots of local knowledge and spoke very good English. He was able to organise a dinner where we tried all of the local foods for dinner and even gave us recommendations of what else to do in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Very well worth the visit. Sacha also picked us up and drove us into town for the meal as well. Great service and lots of knowledgeWritten November 16, 2021
- mirtar5940 contributionsAbsolutely mind-blowing!My favorite things about it all is the amazing archeological aspect that could rewrite history, and the healing powers of the tunels which are now proven to stabilise blood glukose in my fiancee by direct measurement before and after! Would reccomend to everyone!Written October 20, 2021
- Tyranny10570 contributionsGood but not brilliant guideNice guy (representing “Now Bosnia”), well informed and well presented. Good tour around the old town but perhaps lacking in historical data. He answered all our questions but was more interested in us and used us as a sounding board for his business plans.Written November 3, 2019
- Sunshine593807630010 contributionsMostarIt is a wonderful place to calm your soul. However be careful with petty thieves around. The shoppig is better in Mostar area or any area away from the main tourist zones.Written September 15, 2019
- anothercrazyhuman0 contributionsMostarThis city is really beautiful and full of life even through the night! The old town is something eye-catching and offers an experience that you may never forget! There is a lot of good restaurants in which you can try some typical and regional food (which is delicious btw :P)! I strongly recommend you to stay in Hotel Hana and enjoy the wonderful accommodation and reception! Also, don’t forget to taste the softly sparkling beer while appreciating a sightseeing on a balcony! Hvala :DWritten August 22, 2019
- JimmyD19390 contributionsExceptional tour with an amazing guideWe have travelled a lot inside and outside of Europe, and we have done a history tour in most countries. We can honestly say that Sasha's tour was the best one so far, with super friendly services, great inside information, a friendly driver who wanted to show us his home-made house (and his fruit garden of which he gave us free samples) and an easy-going non-commercial vibe. Sasha tries to make the tour pleasant for everyone and if you have a special request or a problem, he will help you. A must if you are travelling in Mostar!Written August 16, 2019
- cathy h0 contributionsThe Best TourOur tour guide Sasha was exceptional. He's knowledgeable, speaks perfect english and very accomodating to all our questions about Herzegovina's history and culture. We really liked the tour becoz he didn't rush us unlike other tours that you have to hurry becoz of the time. He made the tour felt like a fun- outing experience . The tour was informative and at the same time relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended to all who wants to discover Herzegovina.Written July 12, 2019
