      An 11/10 day for sure!
The trip from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo was fantastic and I'm so glad I did a "tour" rather than just a direct transfer or bus. All the stops were really interesting and beautiful, and the drive itself was amazing - I loved the part through the Neretva canyon! I wish I had more days to explore the country but this was a perfect little taste in the limited time I had. Office staff were quick to respond and my guide Ajdn was absolutely great - informative, friendly, and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and Funky Tours to anyone. An 11/10 day for sure!

      Superb!
We had a great time with our guide Adnan who was also knowledgeable about the different sites we visited. He's also great on the politics and the history too. Which we found interesting since we know little to nothing what life is like for the locals here and gave us a much needed insight of the past. He also stopped by another location which wasn't on the schedule, which we were very grateful for. He just wanted us to see it! I only wish we spent a little more time in Mostar, but there was traffic that stole some of the allotted time (although we were thoroughly expired by time we reached Mostar, so I didn't mind too much for a short visit there 😁) Thanks again for a great tour. If we had more time we would have done another tour with Funky Tours. Hopefully another time 😊 Highly recommended.

Best way to travel between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik
My husband and I used Funky Tours for a private transport tour from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik - staying the night in Mostar. In fact we had booked a group tour but no one else showed up so we got the benefit of a private tour for the price of a group tour which was a great bonus. Our guide Merima and our driver were both excellent. We saw so much along the way though a highlight for us was Tito's Bunker which was fascinating. But we also enjoyed the Blagaj Dervish House and the Kravice Falls. The scenery was just stunning! Merima told us a lot about the history, geography and politics of the region - as well as her personal story which added to the experience. After spending the night in Mostar, she also gave us a great walking tour of the city the next morning. She took us to great restaurants for lunch on both days - the most amazing fresh fish right next to the rivers where it was caught. It was also great to have locals help navigate crossing the border into Croatia. I would highly recommend this way of travelling between Sarajevo and Dubrovnik. I'd also add that Funky Tours was so easy to work with for planning the tour through email exchanges.

Getting out of the city and exploring the beautiful country
As a solo traveller I booked the Mostar and Herzegovina 4 Cities (with Kravice Falls) Full Day Tour from Sarajevo. There were 3 other solo travellers on the trip. The tour guide, Amar, spoke excellent English, was interesting and great at answering questions. It was a full 12 hour day and made my long weekend in Sarajevo. Without this tour I would have stayed in the city and missed out on seeing parts of this beautiful country. The Funky tours staff were extremely kind and helpful. I can't recommend this tour enough, so much so I am thinking of returning to Sarajevo and booking the other day tours they offer.

      Must do while in Sarajevo
My buddy and I are both former tour guides in our respective cities, so we have pretty high standards for the tours we go on. I can unreservedly say this was an amazing tour. The tour guide was interesting, great at answering questions, clear and articulate, and generous with sharing his experiences from the war. The Funky tours staff was extremely kind and helpful. I can't recommend this tour enough.

      Combines countryside and culture
This was an amazing tour and allowed me to see another country as part of my trip to Bosnia that I would never have considered. Great for anyone who likes to combine the outdoors and lovely views with history and culture. And a minibus with air conditioning that actually works for once!

      Highly recommend
As a family of 4 ( including one teenager) we very much enjoyed this day tour from Sarajevo. We travelled as s small group (8 people) in an air conditioned mini bus- there was not so much walking so it was a good days rest ! Also the scenery was just so beautiful and stunning. Our guides ( including the driver) were punctual, friendly  polite and very knowledgeable. They were a good team. The regular stops were appreciated and suggestions for clean toilets even more appreciated  . The amount of time at each stop was sufficient- given how popular the stops were, and we had enough time to swim at the waterfalls and for a relaxing lunch.

Amazing tour from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik
I booked the transfer tour from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik and absolutely loved it! Ajdn our driver and Dorris our tour guide were amazing from start to finish. Very helpful and informative. We got to see everything on the itinerary and at the end safely reached Dubrovnik with Ajdn's professional driving. Thankyou once again to you both highly recommend this duo for your next tour!

      Great tour
This tour was amazing. We liked that it was in a small group and we had a great time with a very knowledgeable guide with good sense of humour. Tour didn't feel rushed at all, we spent enough time everywhere we visited and travelled in comfort. Highly recommended!

A consistently excellent and reliable tour company.
Funky Tours organized our 10 day trip in 2019 in Bosnia, Croatia, and Montenegro and we had such great experience with dealing with the company and the itinerary that they made, that we were sure we will be going back. Plan was for 2020 but then the pandemic. We were able to finally go back end of May 2024 for another 10 day trip. Ema again did not disappoint in making our itinerary and she and the company are so easy and pleasant to communicate with. We started in Sarajevo then eastern Bosnia and Serbia. We then went to Zagreb, then Slovenia, Istrian region, and Zadar in Croatia, then back to Sarajevo. The tour was so organized and everything was perfect! Our driver and guide Enis is such a pleasant, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable young man. You can never go wrong with this company! Our group is hoping to go back to the Balkans again in the near future and excited as to what Funky Tours will recommend at that time.

Won't you take me to a funky town
Two days Bosnia and Herzegovina tout with an overnight stay in Mostar. Tailor-made two-day itinerary for us. On the first day, our guide was Stefan whose knowledge, experience and enthusiasm were infectious. Night and morning stay in Mostar. On the second day, our guide was Addis who had a wealth of experience and another enjoyable day with the Winery was a definite highlight. Great two days with some fantastic sights and insight into this deeply misunderstood but fascinating country. Certainly not the cheapest option but it certainly was a fantastic experience from the beginning to the end. Good communication from funky tours before the trip.

      A perfect transfer tour
My wife and I had the privilege to have Salem as our guide. He told us a lot of the history and background of the war in 1990s and his first-hand experience in protecting his country and family. The itineary is wisely designed and we saw many places with nice view and rich history, and most imprtant, saved a lot of trouble for the transport from Split to Sarajevo and allowed me to stay a night at Mostar. I am also very grateful for all colleagues of Funky tour from the first day I sent an email to enquire, who are exceptionally helpful!

The company name Funky Tours doesn't do them justice – neither the American slang or Anglo definition! I would choose words like authentic, honest, genuine and relevant.

I enjoyed three tours with these Funky Folks, each with a different guide. Each guide was local and gave a really genuine insight into Bosnian heritage and contemporary life. I felt that I really got to understand the country from real insiders that took me well beyond the tourist trail.

My favourite was the graffiti tour of Sarajevo. To be fair, I had the advantage of a private tour, so we chatted away about Sarajevo's creative scene and emerging street art movement while exploring some of the coolest bits of the city. By the end of my three tours, I felt my initial limited perceptions of Sarajevo has been truly challenged and I left the country as a new, empowered advocate of Bosnia and Sarajevo. Do visit. And do explore with Sarajevo Funky Tours to really dig beneath the surface.

We as graffiti lovers and part time artists ourselves wanted to learn more about street art industry of Sarajevo and we booked graffiti tour with Sarajevo Funky Tours. What an amazing experience it was.

Initially you are covering the remote parts of Sarajevo that are totally of the beaten path, but are located within the city itself and following the story of street art development in Sarajevo since 1990ies. War time ruins and abandoned places where local and foreign graffiti boys and girls are doing their masterpieces are simply worth exploring, and experience like this heavily helps you better understand destination you are travelling through. Murals of David Bowie, Karim Zaimovic and few others are simply true works of art.

Last part of the tour was Sarajevo Olympic bobsled which is true graffiti wonderland and place which you could never imagine to exist. It is full of graffiti art of local and world famous artists who have been around Sarajevo and leaving their traces behind. Our guide was able to give us explanation on every single graffiti we asked for, as he himself is one of the most famous local artists.

Graffiti workshop was the creme on top of the cake, as that gave us amazing opportunity to paint our own thing and learn more about techniques local artists use. Graffiti painting goes well with hot tea or hot wine Funky Tours team provided us, as it was all snowed out and quite cold during the January.

We hope to be back and experience this tour once again.

Hi alexlivigno84 Thank you so much! We really enjoyed this day together with you! Sarajevo Street Art and Graffiti Workshop tour is something we have created only recently so the fact we got our first TripAdvisor review, make us even more excited over it, especially since we have noticed a huge interest of people to find out more about street art in Sarajevo and BiH in general. It was a great pleasure to take you through certain parts of Sarajevo which are totally off the beaten path and usually not common to be seen during the regular half day tours. The tour is created to uphold and encourage street art culture in Sarajevo and to give credits to our excellent artists. This is why we have double responsibility while conducting this tour- towards our guests and the entire street art culture of Sarajevo and based on the comments we got so far- we are doing a good job here :) In general, we are trying to cover the whole range of historical facts of street art followed by stories of origins of street art in Sarajevo, as well as covering the places that are clearly showing revolution of actual street art scene keeping as a highlight a chance for our guests to try themselves in graffiti art at the famous Bobsleigh and learn more about local techniques from our guide who is one of the best local artists in the country. Thank you so much for joining this tour and hope there will be some chance to see you again. In future, we will be carefully watching the progress of the street art in Sarajevo so, next time you visit us we will take you to some yet unexplored locations :) All the best from SAFT team!
