Has to be in your itinerary!
Incredible full day tour that showed us not only the sites on the itinerary but the gorgeous scenery too. Adis was fantastic, providing useful tips for travelling and showing us the best places for a Bosnian coffee at Mostar and the best photo stop for that memory. The trip is full day so I advise taking water and some small cash with you for coffee and pomegranate juice along the way. A fantastic tour that I'd recommend in a heartbeat.

        A great tour
My tour guide Ibrahim is a very knowledgeable and thoughtful person. He explained everything in a professional way and was always patient to answer my questions. Although the weather wasn’t the best on the day I traveled, but Ibrahim made this tour so interesting that I had such a wonderful and unforgettable experience. I would definitely come back again and book another tour to know this lovely country more 😊

A tour that teaches you things no book can
I’m not a review writer; the only one I’ve written was for my apartment complex when they gave me $500 off for writing one. But my tour with Ibrahim made me immediately know I wanted to leave a review. Ibrahim was informative, which is an understatement. I learned things about Sarajevo that you couldn’t learn by reading any book or website. He’s rightfully proud of Sarajevo’s resolve through the siege, and he shows that through stories of people on the ground and their large and small acts of resistance. You know how you might read a resume but not really KNOW the person who wrote it until you interview them? That’s what this tour felt like - actually meeting the person. I’ve read probably 10 books about the Balkans, Yugoslavia, Bosnia, and Sarajevo, but this tour taught me more than any of them and really made Sarajevo and the siege come to life. No book can take you through Sniper Alley from the ground, pointing up to the sniper positions, and then later show you the view of those same spots from the sniper positions in the mountains. One of the downsides of guided tours is that usually you don’t get time to explore on your own. But at several points, Ibrahim gave time to wander around the sites on my own. This was especially nice when we stopped at the bobsled track on Trebevic. (I just forgot that it would be a lot harder walking back UP the track…) Ibrahim didn’t limit himself to showing or discussing things on the Siege of Sarajevo. We talked about snowfall for the ‘84 Olympics, the Jewish history in the city, Bosnia’s modern political system, and even some Bosnian pronunciation tips. He also talked about his own experience growing up in Sarajevo. Maybe the best way to express how happy I was with this tour: I went to the Siege of Sarajevo museum the night after the tour, and although the museum was extremely well done, it couldn’t compare to the tour, which really made the history come alive. I don’t remember how I picked this specific tour, but I’m very glad I did. To prove that, I’ll add that when I told my mom about it afterwards, she was ready to come to Sarajevo herself despite initially not understanding why I chose to travel here! Changing my mom’s mind is the best review, far better than anything I could write here. I’ve probably written way too much, but I hope that length conveys how much I enjoyed this tour. Ibrahim is proud of Sarajevo and its history, and Sarajevo should be proud to have someone like him showing off the city.

Excellent tour. Excellent guide. Dress warm in winter.
Our tour guide Adnan is a war veteran. His personal insights into the war and the tunnel are invaluable. When it's personal, you get a real sense of the cruelties of this conflict and the perseverance of the Bosnian people. The tunnel tour was very good. There's a video about 20 minutes long with footage of people transporting supplies and weapons through the tunnel. We also visited the bobsleigh track from the 1984 Winter Olympics, and walked along the track. Some beautiful murals painted on the track now. And we visited the Jewish cemetery briefly. Overall, a great tour. If you visit from November through the winter months, bundle up, especially for a morning tour. It was freezing.

A must tour when visiting Sarajevo
It was en excellent tour. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour and Sarajevo as a city. People in the city have treated me incredibly well. My tour guide was Ibrahim and I was lucky to be the only person in the group! He is local and also his family and I was really happy and lucky to have the tour done by him. I really wanted to thank him for his professionalism, politness, well informed, friendliness, and his love for the city and passion for his work that went above and beyond! I learnt a lot about the situation of the city and country at the time of the war and the history of Yugoslavia and the former yugoslave republics. Also about the people in BiH, the languages, the religions, the food, the winter olympic games. He is also a very good driver and the van was really comfortable! He also was ready to answer all the question, being very precise and accurate in all his answers. I will come back to Sarajevo with my friends sometime in the future. I have travelled all around the world and for me, Ibrahim has been the BEST TOUR GUIDE I have had so far! Thank you very much indeed and I hope to come back for more tours.

        Deep dive into Sarajevos history
If you really want to find out what it was like in Sarajevo during the siege, you should book this tour. The guide Muhamed is a true Sarajevo native and experienced the war at close quarters. He also knows everything about his city and patiently answers all your questions - be it about his favourite food, the technical details of the bobsleigh run or the situation in Bosnia today. He is also a funny guy.

I had two perfect days with my guide Ibrahim, I can really recommend a tour with him. He knows everything about the different places we have visited together. He is very friendly, attentive and open to all questions about life in Bosnia. His English is excellent.

The Srebrenica Massacre Study Tour is very special and I will think about it for a long time. I would recommend this place to any Bosnia traveler. Especially with a good tour guide by your side, you can learn a lot about this place and the entire history of Bosnia. With a serious visit you can show your respect to the people of Bosnia.

The day tour to Jajce and Travnik was great. It was interesting to visit the medieval forts, buildings, mosques and learn more about them. During the tour you have spectacular views, great landscapes and above all, the impressive waterfall in Jajce. Hint: Try the Ćevapi in Travnik, Ibrahim knows a great restaurant there. The meal was delicious.

I can really recommend the tours with "Info Bosnia Tours" to everyone. Every single tour was great and it gave me the opportunity to make very special memories in Bosnia.

Hello Ibrahim, thank you for your message, I have arrived back in Hamburg, everything is fine. I hope everything is okay with you too. Here is my review for the agency: I took part in the study tour to Srebrenica on August 27th. This excursion deserves the term "study tour". Ibrahim gave a lot of information about the events of that time throughout the day, I definitely learned a lot. In the museum, Ibrahim gave a lot of interesting insights in all rooms, just the right amount, not too short and not too long. After we looked at the exhibition rooms in the factory, we went to the cemetery, where Ibrahim also told us a lot of interesting facts. The final part was a short visit to the city of Srebrenica, where the group reflected on the trip over a cup of coffee. There was a lot of information here too. No questions remained unanswered. Ibrahim was a very pleasant and competent guide and safe driver throughout the day. I can also recommend Ibrahim as a guide for future tours.

I visited the memorial for my researches on the Genozide.
It was so difficult to stay calm.
I still don’t really know what to feel.
Anger. Sadness. Even happiness for my peaceful childhood.
The speech of Mr. Hasanovic made me so cry!
It so unbelievable what happened infront of the whole worlds eye!
My guide also was such a nice person who gave me a lot of background information on our way to Srebrenica.
It really worth it to go there! Every single second is worth it!!
I recommend everyone, who visits Bosnia to go there and make your own opinion on this brutuality.
I thank Info Bosnie for this great opportunity!

It was one of the most intense tours I have ever been on. My tour guide Ibrahim picked me up from my hotel. Communication up front was excellent. He sent me a WhatsApp message about the time of pick up and was prompt on time. The tour was very interesting. Ibrahim is a very respectful tour guide that adapts perfectly to the wishes and needs of the group that he guides. He understood that the tour was overwhelming and upsetting from time to time. He dealt with the emotions in a great way and was very helpful, respectful and also very friendly. And has great humor too. I strongly recommend him as a tour guide.

A very in-depth tour of such a harrowing location. The guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful, and was willing to answer any questions no matter their content. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the war - I spent a week in Sarajevo's many museums and cultural sites but did not truly understand what it meant before I visited here.

As someone who went to Srebrenica thinking I knew the basics, this study tour really does open your eyes to just how severe, intense and desperate the situation was. No book, website or museum outside of Srebrenica can convey the emotion of what happened in July 1995.

However, another highlight of our tour was our guide, Ibrahim, he really was amazing. Open to questions, answering with great detail, information and insight and helping us understand what life was like during the war but particularly what happened in Srebrenica.

A final note - to see Srebrenica as it is today is painful but a fitting close to the tour. The town, with many abandoned buildings, has a certain charm about it and it's actually quite unbelievable that such an innocent town - and country - could be put on the world map for such tragic reasons.

If you are in Bosnia and Herzegovina, you absolutely MUST do this tour.

Went to Mostar and Screbrenica via DB. What a very special experience this was. Pace was perfect. Being able to see a lot without getting tired. Mostar and the sights (nature, waterfalls, castle) were breathtaking. The driver was very skilled and the guide was also very knowledgeable. And booking the trip also went very well. They thought along and did everything they could to make my trip possible.

Screbrenica was the reason for the trip to Bosnia. This was extra impressive because of the tour guide.

Next time (and that will certainly come) I will book again through Balkan Tours.
